Nebraska sucks for heating/cooling, we have scorching humid summers in the 90's/100's and freezing cold winters in the 0's and negatives.

And now that i have to pay for heating and cooling it sucks a lot more.

Oh well

Yeah, Michigan is almost like that too. I had a monster heating bill this past winter because of a doorwall that wouldn't close fully, so the cold air from outside would come in and make the furnace run continuously. This new apartment has free heating but I still have to pay for A/C (and that time of year is coming). My A/C bills tend to be high as I like it cool and can't stand much heat whereas I'm more tolerant on the cold end of the spectrum.

Well, completely sucks to be you, Xk.
Up in Western Canada, we have awesomely cold winters
A/C isn't that much up here, but it's only used two months out of the year

I'm sure that inexpensive AC comes at the price of more expensive heating though, right? If not, then you are very lucky. Not having to pay much to keep your house the right temperature.

We had one of those when the AC went out a few summers ago. Major cooling. At least with that you don't have to worry about your temperature settings being screwed around with.

Tell me about it... I'm supposed to have open windows this time of year, and not have the AC running.

So uh... It's always hotter in this room than the rest of the house.

So uh, now the AC is broken and my fan is decrepit and barely works.

Thanks, xk. I know you somehow jinxed me.
Ah, at least it's better than how you usually share the love. *b&*

I've had two bedrooms that were always much hotter than the rest of the house. I kinda grew used to it. This makes moving to Northern Alberta, home of 8-month winters, much more painful.

Hell, I wouldn't mind having a cold room for once... my room actually fluctuates wildly (super hot in summer, coldest in winter) but that's mostly because I leave my window wide open during winter to deliberately freeze my room

(By the way, that's actually a computer, not a nightstand. And yes, it's running.)

Is that Tina, or is the monitor/Keyboard/Etc. not visible?
