SSB uses the control stick. If you want to play grab an adaptoid and an official controller. Best way to play N64

Don't expect me to play this, I can't get used to controlling a game with a sensitive stick on a keyboard
I wouldn't be able to anyways, with the computer the way it is.

didn't the old SSB use the button pad, not the control stick? (it's been forever since I played)

No... it used control stick. I think most of us use a controller online too.

Control stick.
Get a gamepad by the way.

And also, stats and calculations and such prove Pikachu and Kirby battling for the top spot of best player in the gamy, and Ness pulling the third. As I have said constantly though, Kirby is just the easiest character to learn to be cheap with. Several characters can be considered cheap if used right. Ness has some infinite combos and a nice spike. Pikachu can infinite combo someone off an edge which is amazing (watch some of Isai's movies on YouTube). Links bomb and boomerang combo can be used to play mind games with people, leading to putting up a very good fight that can destroy even some of the best players (as said before, look up videos on youtube). Not even that, but even Mario has some combos and spikes that can also destroy even the best of players! His down+b spike and his agility make for a GREAT player if you can use him. All it takes is some practice.

Hell, I am positive a player who is REALLY good at playing a Link could take out Isai (Several times world champion in tournys and online) if they knew all of Isais moves and mastered Link. You cannot simply say one character is cheap. Possibly cheaper...

Heres my solution for everyone who complains about Kirby.
Get better at your character, or start playing Kirby yourself.
End of discussion (on cheap characters).

EDIT: Also Koi, you're beloved Adaptoid...Could be a waste of money for some. They don't work with Version 2 gamepads, as the V2 was made specifically for non-adaptoid usage. Doesn't that suck? And apparently, the V2s didn't come out very long after the initial run of N64 controllers, and there is no way to tell if you have a V2 or not. No special noting on the motherboard at all. So that is why the Adaptoid is not a smart thing to buy.
