*SPOILERS WITHIN*

Man, that cliffhanger was like worse than Halo 2's.

Still, this show just freaking owns in every way. I love it.

So many bad things happened in this episode. I completely didn't see half the things coming, especially the shapeshifter tricking Bennett. Speaking of Bennet, the guy who I once used to be confused about with "do I like him or not?", now I'm completely all out behind him, I was so pissed when that girl tricked him in this episode!

Isaac, never really liked him. backtodrugslol

This show is crazy. It utterly destroys Lost right now, stuff ... HAPPENS.

Yes, I'm bumping a month old thread, and yes, I'm double posting.

I really don't give a fuck, this show is too awesome to not post about.
Tonight's ep... holy shit...
This is officially my number one show of 06/07.
Only four episodes left D:
I'm not going to say anything about this episode, you have to watch it yourself

Agreed. That episode was Awesome! The show is better than ever now, totally worth the wait! This is one of the few cases where I think the wait actually helped the emotional impact of the show. Perfect timing as now everything in the show seems to have renewed purpose. Everyone's finally starting to come together into groups, we're getting way more answers, and all parts of the plot are coming together. Next week looks even more awesome! It will be fun to see everyone's dark side.

Plus now I guess we know who was going to die and who would go to the dark side. And it looks like we're about to get another crucial piece of information from the future. Now if only we knew how Claire is crucial to saving the world.

Tonight's episode is still not finished, however.... if you guys thought episode 19 (the last one) was great, omfg it was nothing.

that is all.

EDIT: It's official, this was the best episode so far, and looks like it's gonna get better.

Huge spoilers below, note that all of these have to do with the future:

Spoiler:

- It was really Peter who blew up, but Sylar got the blame and was presumed to be dead.

- Nathan Petrelli is dead, replaced by Sylar who had sometime before killed Candice and took her power. Sylar is the President of the United States!

- Sylar finally kills Claire and takes her power.

- Ando, D.L. Hawkins, and Micah are all dead (Sylar having stole the power of Hawkins).

- Matt Parkman and The Haitian are pretty much bad guys. Mohinder kills The Haitian so Hiro can get away.

- Hiro is the one to have to stop Sylar in the past, or else everything bad will happen. I don't get how this will stop Peter from exploding, though.

- Poor choice for Hiro to have teleported back to at the end, since Sylar was just there killing Isaac and could still be right there.

Lots of other things too.. you knew a lot of weird stuff had to happen since this was going to be a "reset button" episode. It was one of the best episodes yet.

Adding some more (and some speculation)
Spoiler:

Didn't Sylar from the future already get Claire's power? Or is the President Sylar from some past, and can travel through time?

Also, (this is random) Peter made me think of Neo while looking at some scenes

Spoiler:

No, that Sylar didn't already have Claire's power since she was still alive.

The Future Hiro had obviously already gone into the past to give Peter the message to save Claire. The fact that she was still alive in the future shows that the future did change (Claire must have been dead in the future when Future Hiro first went back).. but not changed enough to make much of a difference.

Even though it was Peter who exploded (supposedly), Sylar is tied into it all. I think the Future Hiro said that he tried to kill Sylar, but since he had Claire's power he regenerated and didn't die.. which somehow leads to the explosion.

But now since the past was changed, Sylar doesn't have Claire's ability. It's all up to Hiro now to stop Sylar (shown in one of Isaac's comics), or everything is lost and Sylar will take over the world.

I could be wrong, a lot of it confuses me..

Alright, but..

Spoiler:
killing sylar won't stop Peter from blowing up the city. Its Peter that causing the explosion, not sylar.

And this is a MAJOR spoiler that I read a few weeks ago, it was not aired yet, so don't read it if you want to be surprised.

Spoiler:
I read that Sylar will be around for the second volume of Heroes. Which either means he doesn't die during these last there eps, or he's seen in flashbacks and the likes.

*SPOILERS AHEAD!*

Wow... again...
I swear I'm going to start sobbing after the season finale...

OMFG... Peter and Sylar with radioactive-ness!
I'm confused though, wouldn't Claire not dying create a completely different future, a la Back to the Future? Why is everything still the same?
Future Peter is the epitome of badass in this episode.

*END OF SPOILERS*

Sylar already was awesome
But now he's borderline... nothing I can word properly

I hope Sylar loses all his powers as a result of getting stabbed by Hiro.
He's too awesome of a bad guy to die.

I think the future was still the same because Sylar wasn't stopped in time, and did whatever he did to trigger Peter to explode.. I think. The cheerleader was saved, but not the world.

In the original timeline, Claire was dead and it was impossible for Sylar to be stopped since he could regenerate. The Future Hiro said something like this, that he attacked him (much like in Isaac's comic) but it didn't do any good.

Whether Claire was dead or not, Sylar probably killed Ted Sprague and took his power.. and exposed Peter to it the next time they met.. and Peter went out of control as he feared he would and exploded. Sylar got the blame and was presumed to be dead, but that was fine for him since he killed Nathan and stole his identity to become the President.

But now, it's up to Hiro to stop him since he can't regenerate. This is what Isaac meant when he said to Sylar that he will be stopped.. he made one last comic which showed Hiro attacking (and presumably, defeating) Sylar with the sword. Somehow, this should also stop the explosion and save millions of people.

It makes sense, but if Claire was saved in the past, wouldn't that alter the timeline so Future Hiro would end up killing Sylar? Why would Sylar still be alive if Hiro stabbed him?

The problem there is, the Future Hiro is originally from the timeline where Claire died so the version of himself from the changed timeline (our Present Hiro) made different choices that he did not.

Since the explosion still happened and Sylar was still around, it's clear that Present Hiro did not stop Sylar. He and Ando would not have travelled to the future to get Isaac's message.

But, since Future Hiro didn't expect his past self and Ando to show up, there's hope that things can be changed. Through Isaac's final comic found in the future, Hiro knows now that it's up to him to save the world from Sylar.

It makes sense, but if Claire was saved in the past, wouldn't that alter the timeline so Future Hiro would end up killing Sylar?

Yes, and it has been altered from the moment Future Hiro went back in time to give Peter the message, setting off a huge chain of events. The bad future only continued to exist long enough so that Hiro could find out what he had to do from Isaac even though he was long dead. The second that Hiro and Ando went back in time, that future ceased to exist (and at a good time.. Peter and Sylar were ready to both explode).

I thought the same thing. I kept remebering that MTV Matrix Reloaded parody where Wanda Sykes says to Neo "Come on man, you da one, you da one man, you can do it all!" It didn't help that Sylar fighting with Peter reminded me of the revolutions fight with Neo and Agent Smith too, except that Sylar is an infinitely more awesome villian than Agent Smith, and Peter and Sylar's fight didn't get too far. Man, now I want a full blown action sequence of Peter and Sylar fighting using all they got against each other. That'd make an awesome finale!

That would make for the best ending to a TV show.

Best way for NBC to keep us waiting for next season: Have Peter and Sylar just about to start fighting, and then cut the episode short. Cruel yet effective.

Oh god. Next episode's preview is just... wow. Two episodes left, tons of stuff meant to happen.

As for this episode, (don't read ahead if you don't want spoilers, even if it's light) - mainly explaining things. Not as good as the last one, but the end made this one.
