DHG had been developing a motocross game for the GBA. Unfortunately, the publisher backed down and the DHG is stuck with their game  . With nothing to do with it, they figure... "Heck, lets give em' something free." They've decided to put the ROM up on their site for free download. I'm guessing this isn't an illegal copy so it's fine to post here.

GBA's dead, didn't they get the memo?
Couldn't they have ported it to the DS? I'm sure it would've been released that way. ____________________  |

Posted by Drag People still buy GBA games, they just aren't as popular, but it still would've made a profit, albeit small. And if they ported it to the DS, people would complain about lack of touch features, and what would they do with the second screen? I guess a map or stats board. Also, how long would it take them to port a finished game to the DS? I think it would take a while, and the publisher might not want to wait that long. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... But it's 12 AM, and I'm sleepy. |

Eh... O_o Golden Sun for the win.
Even so, I agree with the fact that releasing it for the DS would have been a sure shot. After all... who plays Ps1 anymore with the Ps2 and 3 out? It's all determined by how popular the system/platform is, really. I mean, DS's DO have better graphics than the GBA's and GB SP's. Though my SP is my baby,  .____________________  |

Don't bring the PS3/PS2/PS1 thing here. After all, who's gonna buy games for the PS3, andn who's going to even HAVE a PS3? Apart from Sony fanboys, not many people. Plus, you'd be better off getting a Wii, or an X360. It's more like a "Who buys a GameCube when you can get a Wii?" thing. Still, free games are good. There really should be more free games in the world. Err, maybe I shouldn't make posts in the morning... ____________________ Love your lawn. |
