Did anyone see this movie? I saw it yesterday with my siblings and it was hilarious. It features everyone's favorite duo; Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. If you liked Shaun of the Dead, then you should find this amusing as well. An absolute must see.

I must see this movie. Now. Not as much as I require Spaced on DVD, but mandatory nonetheless.

I've never seen Spaced, but yes Shaun of the Dead was better than this.

That said, this movie still kicked amazing amounts of ass. I'm also a sucker for self-referential humor.

I really really really really wanted to see this movie, but I spent my last entertainment dollars this month of Daft Punk tickets

It begs the question... do people at Daft Punk concerts dance like the people in that one video? (With the lines of weird looking bald people)

Hm, I saw this in early april when it came out.

It was awesome - mostly just because of Timothy Dalton who stole the entire fucking show.

Yea, definitely better than his James Bond impersonations. (imagines Timothy Dalton's audition simply being: "Duh, look at me, I'm James Bond!")

Actually, If you read the original novels, you would see that Dalton is the closest yet to Ian Fleming's original character of James Bond. The main plot point of Licence to Kill (Felix Leiter being fed to sharks) was taken straight from the original novel of Live and Let Die, which came out in 1953 (the film Live and Let Die mostly ignored the original novel's story, replacing it with one based around drug trading).

Bond's personality is the same as in the novels in Dalton's (and now Daniel Craig's) films. The anger is there, as is the vengeance and the hard, cold professionalism. Bond is a hired killer - not a pretty boy with perfect hair who constantly makes quips, like Pierce Smug Brosnan.

Timothy Dalton got the character of Bond down perfectly.

The second closest would be a tie between Daniel Craig and Sean Connery (in his first two films at least, before they became too over the top - which coincidently is why Connery got bored of the role, and left).

It's just a pity that the writing and direction of the two Dalton films suffered because of John Glen - who was probably the worst director ever to helm a 007 flick apart from Lee Tamahori. The numerous budget and location problems did not help either, as well as competition from films such as Die Hard, Indiana Jones and Lethal Weapon.

^ ... I laughed.

Anyways, I guess Timothy Dalton is in this? Hilarious.

I still really really really want to see it. My friends and I plan too sometime this weekend.

<!--stupid center and width hack-->
Brilliant film. Really enjoyed it.

Noticed it had another Black Books actor in it -- twice -- Bill Bailey ("Manny"). Shaun of the Dead of course featured Dylan Moran ("Bernard") as that wanker David.

Good film, lots of fun. I am not sure if I like it more than Shaun of the Dead, but it was very very silly and fun.

I must be one of the only people who think Timothy Dalton was a good James Bond. Loved The Living Daylights.

Nah, he was a decent Bond. The movies themselves, however, ranged from relatively good-above-Moore quality to...Uhhh, that-George-guy-quality.

Maybe its me, but Moore was amazing. I mean haaaamazing. Probably my favorite Bond, even though he looked a bit too old for those women.

I think its just the fact that practically all his Bond movies were totally amazing.

He was only in two Bond movies . The Living Daylights is better than License to Kill, I think.

And I don't like Roger Moore. I'm weird .
