It'll calm down at least a bit, but Adamant's right; in fact, I'd extend it to say that you really have to look at the board leadership to determine how the board itself will shake out attitude-wise. It's really a matter of preference... if you like how the staff there does things and goes about their business, the rest of the board will likely assume a similar attitude and you would be likely to enjoy that place. It really applies anywhere, but at Nobodysboard it should be a very sharp contrast to what we had in the past before the regime change. ____________________  |

Cymoro has always been a good friend of mine, so I can't say I have any real hard feelings to him personally in that he acts pretty decently to me off the board. But come on, this is just down right ridiculous ;\ Friend or not, don't think for a second I support whats gong on there (and really, I hardly even talk to him any more so  ) |

Trademark? Heck, is the board software even copyrighted? Can he do that? I'm sure if it were that would solve a whole mess of problems, especially if the name Acmlm was a trademark. Though I wouldn't suppose patenting the board software at this point would be the most practical or even economical approach to things ;x |

Well, granted, I was a it irked at the time of that post, and I won't try and make excuses for myself since as you yourself said, I am better than this. I really don't want it to come off as I'm against them because they think differently from me. I'm simply against the manner in which things were handled, and are currently being handled. Perhaps I don't know the "whole thing" being as I'm not nor have not been for some time an active member of that community. However, I still do feel, as well as many others (who perhaps have handled their own opinions both maturely or immaturly depending on the individual) that things over there are simply "not right". As for not living the fun posting experience here...well, I guess that too is mainly a matter of opinion. To each their own, I suppose. At least you've taught me a valuable lesson on hypocracy (wherin I have little right to judge what I only CLAIM to know a great deal about). Appologies. |
