Xkeeper's # is struck out for reasons not of my knowledge. Please do not ask me why. ^In response to above. I found this in the Virtual Console thread. Posted by Xkeeper ____________________ |

Posted by KlesI won't blame you. I could help people at this game, There's a few videos at youtube, but they seem to mostly show off more advanced gameplay. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

I've had bad days before, but I don't think "bad" does justice to the daze I have been experiencing these days. My thoughts feel fuzzy, bleary, incoherent, and muddled, if that makes any sense. This is thoroughly flummoxing. I feel like Charlie from Flowers for Algernon, aware of once-possessed knowledge, but just grasping at loose ends. I can't even seem describe my own sentiments and thoughts properly. |

Hmm. Biggest fail of today was getting up from my computer desk to go eat desk but managing to trip on my desk. I didn't even manage to go two steps before tripping and almost crashing into my entertainment center.
I can't even walk properly now. |

Okay then, in your next life don't go to school, don't learn to read or write (at least not properly), and don't benefit from all that comes with a public education. Tell me how far you get in today's society without those benefits. |

Posted by Metal_Man88 No, it uses Perl (that should explain enough.) And there isn't exactly a Windows version available. And text-only (afaik.) ____________________ |

I have several.
The one I'm using now I just got about a month ago: Athlon X2 5200+ Radeon X1950 XTX with 512MB ram 250GB Sata drive 2GB 800Mhz ram 20x DVD burner It's also got a ridiculously old IBM mouse and keyboard, bulky 19" CRT monitor and a floppy drive I took off the carcass of another computer (although I just got a new one with built in flash card readers I just have to install it). It's running Windows Server 2003 x64. It also has Windows Vista Ultimate installed, but it isn't working. Eventually when I get the time and ambition I'll install Fedora, Ubuntu, Windows 2000, and make an attempt at Mac OS X. Under my TV I have a computer that I've had for about a year and a half now: Sempron 2800+ 512MB PC2100 ram 160GB hard drive 2 TV tuners Extra sound card (beside the onboard) It's running Knoppix, and MythTV. I made a custom case for it. I have pictures, maybe I'll post them some time (probably not). I also have a laptop I got about three years ago, that used to be my main computer until I got this one (now it just sits in the corner blinking): 1.8ghz Athlon 512MB PC2100 ram Airlink pcmcia 802.11g card It has some sort of mobile Radeon but its a good five feet away, and I can't be bothered to go check exactly what model. It's running Windows Server 2003, with Windows 2000 installed as a backup. I'm not done yet. I also have a file server: Intel Celeron 2.26ghz (Only Intel I own) 196MB of PC2700 ram 4 250GB Sata drives (On a raid controller, but I haven't set one up) 1 250GB IDE drive No keyboard, mouse, or monitor If you can't guess this thing is mainly for storage. It's running Windows Server 2003. I also have a 1.6ghz Duron system I turned into a game console with thousands of roms built in. It's running Windows XP Jacked, with a custom gamepad controlled interface (written in Perl, believe it or not), and custom case. I'm going to give it to my sister. In case you can't tell, I'm a huge nerd. Actually you probably stopped reading a paragraph in. @Xkeeper: The SilverEX build is pretty spiffy, primarily because it's free. I personally don't like X-Chat (it's awesome on Linux, but slow and bulky, from my experience, on Windows), but I'm sure there are plenty of people who would totally dig a free X-Chat, so there you are.
Posted by HydraPheetz There is too a Windows version! (Scroll down to "Binaries", "Binary packages for older versions") Okay, so it's out-of-date (0.8.9 compared to 0.8.10) and I don't even think it supports scripting. BUT IT'S THERE. On an unrelated side-note, I thought I had posted this before. Either it was deleted by communism, or... most likely, I forgot to hit submit while I was writing something. OH WELL. I will also add that I'm an mIRC[loser] [loser replacing a slightly more derogatory word I was going to use] |

Not sure about Perl, but in C/C++/Java/PHP (which use largely the same syntax), post += 1 will just add one to the variable "post" and isn't a valid condition in Java as it returns post as its "answer" instead of a boolean, but in C it will be equal to a boolean true if post isn't zero. So that probably isn't what you intended, unless += is different in Perl than in the languages I'm familiar with. |

I was 15 befre I learned how to ype properly, before that I was very fast at typing with only two fingers. Now I usually use all fingers but for certain things (like "Star Wars" or whatever that only uses one hand) I move my hands from their peoper positions. I still need to look at the keys thoguh. |

I must pray that whatever god you believe in grants you an apostrophe with which to ask your question properly.
On the other hand, I'll pray that s/he doesn't, because it was an incredibly stupid question to ask. Furthermore, do a google search for "Magic: The Gathering", because you clearly do not understand my reference. I'm done being an angry elitist now, as long as someone else asks me a question. |
