Here is an interesting request, it is for my game. I doubt any of you remember it, but it involved no longer having Mario as the main hero but some guy I made up...
I'd like someone to try and turn off Yoshi's tongue (I know that turning it off has been done, but there is more) and enable Yoshi to always have Stomp. If it is possible, to always have the ability corresponding to the Yoshi's color. I need this in order for me to effectively edit Yoshi's apperance and character without it being just a cosmetic change. Thanks for anyone that trys! |

Here's something interesting I found...
This occurs when you run into the Shell-less Koopa Troopa after it hops into a shell, but before it becomes (Or as it becomes?) a Koopa Troopa. Try it, it isn't easy and I found it by mistake. Just keep running into the shell after a Koopa jumps in, but before it changes into a Koopa Troopa. I'd guess that the rom you got does not have a Header. Find one that does...
((Also note, Vimm's lair, for whatever reason, changes the 'title' of the rom to Vimm's Lair... annoying really)) |

I need a patch to stop mario from using the tiles contained within the 00.bin. I could use that space for other things... .

I see you still have two openings left there not reserved, and one is a party member! I don't suppose its still open, is it? If so, I'd like to take it, if no one minds. I know I'm not exactly an active poster here, but I'm still diligently hacking my way through SMW till I find a result I like .

Hmm... before I define myself, what the heck is everyone else, exactly? In terms of classes, because it would be a good thing to balance the team's powers. I could easily take on the role of Wizard/Fighter Hybrid or a Paladin.
And, I suppose I'll have to get a spritesheet of myself, eh? Man, I'm terrible at drawing such precise drawings, time for searching! Also, what exactly do you want me to do? |

I say nothing to those who do smoke, but I am against it. Smoking can kill you. I don't know that many who do smoke, but it is a stupid choice. Smoking is another bill that most can't handle anyway. | |||

Well then, I've decided. Stephan Reiken, Burning Blade Alchemist, at your service!
I'll have to come up with some Alchemic attacks, but Stephan's Alchemy could (or not, your choice) be key in solving some puzzles. |

I need some blocks of various sorts...
Either 1) A block that when touched by Mario Checks if he has x coins. If so, then add Mushroom/Fire Flower/Feather/Star or any other Sprite. With this, Removing the ability to gain 1-ups from Coins, the Coin count will stay at 99. ((Higher Number perhaps?)) Or 2) A block that does the same but uses Bonus Stars With this, Stoping the Bonus Star Counter from going above 99 and Coins that will add to the Star Counter instead of the Coin counter. You Guessed it, I want to create an Item Shop in SMW ^^. I hope someone would do this for me... |

The air is quiet as Kire waits quite patiently for an Opponent. The Chaos Gate twirls in front of the long-forgotten Paladin Samurai, his signiture for moving around. The Chaos Gate has the odd tendency, when left alone, to suck in someone eager to battle. The woods around Kire are dead silent from the use of technology on a world where Technology is more magic than Science.
Kire: "Well, its been an hour. I assume the gates power will kick in pretty soon." Kire: It has been a while since I've battled. Now, with my training complete, I need to test my newfound skills. Kire: "Hmm... I wonder how Zeron is doing out there, battling Mavericks and all that. Ah, well, I'm sure he'll call when he needs me." |

Kire: Woah, this guy wants to battle pretty bad.
Kire quickly unsheathes his Double Koadacis from his sleeves and puts his left foot ahead, moving his right foot back, preparing for the rather sudden sword attack. The double blades collide with the single where the double blades cross, crossing only a split-second beforehand. Kire: Anyone else might have taken great injury from that attack. Fortunatly for me, I had my swords enchanted long ago to not conduct electricity when it could harm the user. That could have been a serious flaw in my defense. Let's see what he does next, he has already forced me to be on the defensive. |

So many Sprites... they look great!
However, I came here with a bit of information/advice that you may or may not use as you please. If it seems a little complicated, or if you don't think you really need it, then don't bother using it. Just thought you might be interested in adding some color variety to your sprites! This advice works for anyone else too! If you use SMW Dev on your rom, and change the colors to normal colors or whatever, then you can use all of the colors that Mario used before! A couple slight flaws, 1) You have to keep the colors that weren't Mario Specific in that palette those colors because Mario still uses those. 2) You have to change all of Mario's and Luigi's originally used colors to whatever you want to use them as. Unless you want Sprites that change color depending on Mario. With this, you could.. A) Have a Sprite or two with more Colors than others. or B) Have an extra Palette stored away in those now unused colors accessed by pretty much any sprite you want. Useful Links for stuff above. Kire: "Use not more speed than nessacary."
Kire slashes the eletric arc coming at him, somehow dulling its strength as it strikes Kire's body. Without stopping the slash, Kire keeps swinging, flipping the handle along the way. Kire's other hand quickly goes in front of his face as he watches his opponent through the dust that went into the air. Kire: Hmm... not enough time for a decent counter stance. Kire's left Kodaci comes up against the overhead slash, deflecting the strike a little to the right, Kire's body moving to the left, and his right Kodaci strikes at a viscious angle at the weapon itself. |

Kire: Can't... dodge that.
Kire starts moving back as the blade bites into his arm. Kire: "Speedy guy, the Lightning element fits you well." Kire: Okay, this guy really is faster than me. I'd better watch out, mustn't leave holes in my defense. Kire starts summoning magic into his body, jumping back from Star and puting his Kodacies out in front of him, Handle pressing against handle with arms extended. Kire: "We haven't properly Introduced yet, I am Kire Tajin." |

Kire's body starts radiating with contained holy energy.
Kire: "I see..." Kire: He cares for nothing but battle. I wonder, whether he is evil or not. I'll have to check later, after my attack goes through. Time for the next level of attack, since he seems content on charging his as well. Its just as well, my charge can be used quickly. |
