This might be predictable but if you look at my character on Protoboard and think of a certain movie trilogy, it´s not hard to guess what my world is like.

My world will be like inside a computer. But I want it to be hard to get there or hard to find me. Unfortunately, I can´t make sprites at all.

Lets see... I'd like some big mountainous terrain with maybe a few hidden 'treasure' caves behind trees or shrubs and my big Castle Will be on the top.

My world a bit more described.

It is an old temple that was used to worship forgotten gods. However, once the old inhabitants left a small band of creatures moved in and after years of breeding began a civilization. Many of the residents are friendly. When you go up to the second level you get a wonderful view of the sunset, but as you begin to travel down towards the lower levels of the temple underground remains, the creatures there are outcasts, thieves, etc. and are ready to fight any intruder.

I, cpubasic, will be in the lowest level. How many levels will there be? I don't know. All depends on how many levels you want to make. Anyway, I'll be there supposedly trying to retrieve an ancient artifact to stop the latest invention in the Windonian Empire's arsenal. After grabbing the artifact, I am stopped by the heroes, and after explaining the situation, is willing to accept a fight just for fun (And no I won't back out. ).

If I got an advance of what happens in the story in the RPG up to this moment, I could help implement it into mine.

And I'll go see if some other sim-battler wants to join me in this fight...

I see you still have two openings left there not reserved, and one is a party member! I don't suppose its still open, is it? If so, I'd like to take it, if no one minds. I know I'm not exactly an active poster here, but I'm still diligently hacking my way through SMW till I find a result I like .

In case Peardian hasn't told you yet, the last two rival battles (my choosing! ) are:

The first one is a Mountainside that is magically spooked so it is always nighttime around it. Ghosts and Magikoopas wander the area attacking anyone who comes near it, so it's very dangerous. To add to the danger, Silver Magikoopas (with POWERFUL magic) roam the higher areas, with shooting stars raining down at you. Some bridges are broken, causing you to go into the caves that have Dry Bones and Boney Beetles inhabiting it. At the top, Peardian and I appear and challenge you! Once we're defeated, a lone silver Magikoopa will appear and, after giving you a piece of a shooting star, will teleport you across the rapids at the bottom. (the bridge is out)

The second place is a mechanical city, complete with dangerous smoke, oil, and many more hazards. After you explore the small, habitable area, you enter a factory full of Bullet Bills, Bob-Ombs, and robots. On the second floor, Peardian and I appear and challenge you! After we're defeated, we leave a key to the back door of the factory. Once you enter the door, Heavy Lobster appears and fights you! Once he's defeated, he explodes, destroying the gate in front of you. Right before you exit the junkyard, he reappears, angry and rebuilt. When he is defeated, he falls apart, and you grab the Steel Hammer, and exit.

Is that specific enough for ya?

EDIT: Meh, switch 'em around.

Still just wanting to be an NPC that trains the party...preferably in the area of techs. Like, perform x, and recieve skill y from me, or somethin'. Would that be too much to ask?

Hmm... before I define myself, what the heck is everyone else, exactly? In terms of classes, because it would be a good thing to balance the team's powers. I could easily take on the role of Wizard/Fighter Hybrid or a Paladin.

And, I suppose I'll have to get a spritesheet of myself, eh? Man, I'm terrible at drawing such precise drawings, time for searching!

Also, what exactly do you want me to do?

Hmm, forgot to say what class I wanted to be. Fighter/Wizard sounds nice. I´d have a gun and my fists as equipment. Then we have the magic/telekinetic powers.

Guess I forgot my attacks, huh?
Starting from RB 3, I'd be able to shoot a classic shape beam from my wand for about...10 HP, and my Long Beam, which attacks each party member for 5 HP each. In #4, I gain a stronger Long Beam, every party member for 10 HP. (gotta watch out for that one) I also get my famous Flame Blast, which attacks for 15 HP, and (if possible) burns you. In #5, I can use Heavy Flame Blast, which harms you for a whopping 25 HP and burns you. Plus, to make the fight more annoying, I can heal for +5 HP. In #6, I gain a broom, and can shoot lightning at you for 30 HP. And, I can heal for +15 HP. Finally, in #7, I gain a broom *again* and can disappear, then reappear with 3 fake copies. I can use Long Beam to attack you all for 20 HP each, I can heal for +20 HP, and I can use Ultra Fire Boom for 35 HP plus burnage.
There. Not too strong, is it?

Aight, see, Rufus in the game he comes from is a very malleable character. Depending on how you choose to develop him, he can be anywhere on the magic vs physical scale. This is because for most of the game, he's on his own- So he needs to be versatile.

Boss Battle 6 is two bosses before Myster's first appearance. Ooh, Myster, you seem to have the balance a little bit off. Regular enemies are doing 5 or 6 damage at level three, and after level six you deal 10 damage. So maybe make yourself a little stronger.

(Or maybe I have the levels system completely wrong- I really don't have a very good idea how they'll be set up. Maybe a bit of an outline, that shows both the bosses and where the new levels show up, so that we have a better understanding of how the game is laid out.)

So anyway, I basically can give you two options for handling Rufus. The first, which I like the idea of, would be that there would be several Rufus enemy entries, and the event for the battle would pick a random one, so you'd get a different set of stats for him each time. But that would be considerably more work, and the battle would be nearly impossible for players to prepare for. So maybe that's good for you, maybe it's not.

On the other hand, I could just pick one style for him and restrict him to that. It'd be easier for you to set up, but I think that would be less interesting. Your call, really.

Oh, my character stats should be mentioned...

Well, he will be like my Sim-battle character William. He'll have the Black Thorn as a weapon (which is my basic attack). Other than his basic attack, he will have level 2 black magic skills (Fira, Blizzara, Thundara, stuff like that).

Oh, and if possible I can make some cameos in some towns (except in my place, where after you beat me I will be inside the local restaurant where I will explain about my travels and leave the game for good after the conversation.). You could add me back in the game later if you want... up to you...
