| I hate the way there are so many whore-ish people out there today.
guys and gals both. I dont think everyone has to remain abstinent, just not sleep with every person they can. Even if its your GF/BF you shouldnt just sleep with them for that reason. I've never had sex, or a girlfriend(< long story) , but it's just wrong to sleep for someone without a genuine affection that will at least last a week after the act. People these days put too much emphasis on that part of the relationship. I blame the media personally -- most movies and music targeted to a younger age group (comedies, rap, etc.) shove sex down your throat. Im not sure what it's like in colleges and the real world, but the new generation (those in high school and below) are degrading themselves, and ruining all the work our grandparents and their's before them did to have a moral, hard working society. Im sure that when you were my age there was that one slutty group, but thats not what Im referring to. these days about 45-80% (depending on where you live, and what type of school you attend) of the people (guys and girls) are dirty filthy whores. I dont care who I offend. youve got problems about this, then your probably one of the people Im talking about. any comments? |

| For a couple of days I was looking for an illustration for a character I made up. I'd really like to see him the way I dreamt him up... here's a description:
a half angel, half devil male swardsman-knight body is heavily armored with no helmet has a half halo and one horn on the opposite side. one angelic wing, and one demonic wing. one half of his body is holy looking, the other evil (two different color schemes for each half of his body) in each hand is a greatsword/broadsword. just like his armor/body, one is holy looking, and the other is evil looking he symbolizes, to me, the true entity of a hero. one who fights for justice, above all else, and in the end realizes that no matter how many he saves, or who he fights, he will never be accepted, and will be tarnished in the blood of the evil which he has slain. It is what Ive always felt in me, if you know what I mean. The inner self I wish I could be. | yeah, I guess I went a little too far on that...
I dont really hate a person for it, I just slightly hold them in disrespect. I, too, have friends like that... I just think the demoralization of the world has begun... and not in a religious way. Im an athiest, so I dont even believe in god, but I uphold my own set of morals and follow my own code of chivalry like the old knights. people just dont think their worth much these days. my personal view is that women are priceless in the classical way, that they are worth so much it's beyond compare in riches... I also think it's sad that people flock to those who think that way of them, and in turn lead to them thinking that way of themselves... although thats just what I think, if you even understanded me at all... | I finally was able to get and finish the second shenmue game today (I recently got an xbox)
I must say, shenmue is easily my favorite RPG. It tops final fantasy, zelda (Im among the 'zelda is an rpg' faction --- rpgs DONT NEED LEVEL UPS), and legaia. anyway, Im pretty sad that, from the ways thing look, shenmue 3 probably wont be produced... I swear that if it doesnt get released I will personally get a team together and make my own despite copyright laws. it has a story that cannot go unfinished. not to mention that Im dying to see lan di's fighting style that -- supposedly -- only he knows about. what do you guys think about shenmue? |

| Yes, I still come here, albeit not as frequently. but to get to the topic, Im done. period.
done with what, you may be asking at this point? done trying to get anyone of the opposite gender to have feelings for me. Next time I meet a girl I like, I'm just gonna walk away and forget about it. Im a nerd, a punk, I'm strange/funny, unattractive, and I dont fit in. Every moment of solitude I get has at least a couple minutes of regrets, jealousy, and hatred towards others based on the fact that I fail so miserably in that department. Some people say love can save the world, not me. If anything, it's brought me closer to becoming evil. The feelings no longer make me happy, but jealous, angry, and depressed. so I'm done. done trying there. guess it's just not my place in the world. Hell, I've never even been able to get a first date. lol, It's even hard for me to flirt with anyone. It would be wasted effort I could use for programming or something if I were to try to get girls anymore. I'll just fail like I always do. Hell, I dont need love anyway. I have my friends -- good friends; friends who would actually risk their lives for me. and their good people too, always helping others in their own way. Don't know why I decided to post this rant. had a lot of time on my hands again, and I always get to thinking when I have time on my hands. If there's anything I can tell anyone, its that emotions are bad. while in most they can inspire happiness and goodness, in few they can cause despair, hatred, even enmity. Love is absolutely the worse emotion of all, as it can inspire not only those feelings above, but severe jealousy of others, and lonliness as well. | I thought this would be a postworthy topic.
Look at people and their beliefs (gay marriage, religion, which can of soup is better). why must we push our beliefs on others. If in your religion, we all go to hell if we dont believe the same as you, why do you care? More goodness in heavan for you! Why do we, as individuals AND a society, care about how others live their lives, and the consequences for THEM thereafter. Why must people fight each other because somebody violates their beliefs on their own behalf, in a situation affecting only them? If you have the right to say no to somebody elses belief, than you have no right to believe either. I am aware this post might offend others, and aware that many will try to say Im wrong. but if you are that person, realise that it could be you. Instead of hot debates like gay marriage, it COULD be straight marriage. in debates of religion, your religion could be targeted. I believe that a large part of the problem is not the uneducated, but the ignorant. For the uneducated can be taught, but with the ignorant there is no learning. As it has been said many times, we must tolerate the uneducated, for each of us is uneducated at something, but ignorance itself cannot be tolerated. it has to be ignored. Why does society listen to the ignorant? I dont know. my only guess is that the concept of society, the way we see it, doesn't work. That society, itself, is ignorant, but thats another debate for another time. edit: I think a good example of this is that one of my friends recently became christian, and when I asked him to allow others in our group to choose themselves which religion (if any) they wanted, and he was infuriated with me, to the point where a fight almost broke out. He stopped pushing his beliefs, but the fact that it got to that point if proof enough that this is a problem. Many countries guarantee the freedom to believe, but it is simply a mask over the truth if the majority believe in something, and are allowed to try and force beliefs on others. | yes the rating was changed to m. we all know this now. but it is wrong, and needs to be back at T.
the game, itself, contains no objectionable content out-of-the-box. (well, there was the necrophiliac in the skingrad alchemist, but thats not really that bad, she just asks about the fine for necrophelia) The rating was changed because of user made content -- content not endorsed by or related ot bethesda in any way. it is as if I wrote something on a newspaper and sued the newspaper publisher for it. The way the mod community is growing, from its humble beginnings on the atari 2600, to the dreamcast, and now all major consoles (and PC), they might as well stamp every game with a preliminary M. |

| I dont wield one of them new fangled lightsabers -- instead I use my shovel. The dark side of the force is strong within me, but my job is harder than the other sith's (Vader being a show-off with his death star and all...) see, I'm not allowed to fly a space craft, so I've been trying to use the force to help me jump to other planets -- so far I've gotten up about two feet! I'm also trying to teach my mules to fly using the power of the force -- that way I can make a mule-powered space vessel! Sound like a good plan? | |||

sorry, I didnt mean to come off so harsh... 
I was thinking about bigger problems -- like killing over beliefs... during the crusades, for example, christian crusaders killed an entire town and actually ATE the people in it. Radical groups today kill and terrorize those who dont believe the same as them. Im all for different beliefs -- small things like coffee arent really the topic i was trying to speak about -- Im talking about war over beliefs. killing. torture. horror. Things like the crusades, or other "holy wars", and not just saying certain lifestyles are wrong, but attacking those who follow them. is there really any excuse for these things? To push beliefs with violence and threats? |

| I guess I am with the anti-corporates.
But what im worried about is the fact that no one enforces the laws that trusts are supposed to follow these days. The last one to do so was Roosevelt. I am an avid supporter of linux. I am running a slackware (only) system. as for the issue of linux and software, Im just going to spit back what others in linux-land say: In order for software companies to release software to linux, more people need to switch to it -- although many will be against lots of commercial software on linux, I am not. While many things need to be free (development tools, desktop environments, basic tools) Some things (games, etc.) deserve to be commercial -- as they are art not just software. Another hindrence to the popularity of linux is hardware support. our society is "used to" the windows lifestyle. The idea that the computer can do 99% of the work for you, and you just need to click. Thats also why viruses work on (pretty much) only windows, as it executes programs without your consent. but thats another issue. Linux, itself, is becoming much more user friendly. For such a young operating system (invented in the 90's, while microsoft worked on DOS since the 80's), it has come a considerable way in a short amoount of time, and I can see a total takeover of the PC industry in about 20 to 50 years from now due to viruses, privacy issues, and the fact that linux, OS/X, and others, happen to be much more efficient once they are correctly configured, and have the needed software. to shorten thing up, I dont think Microsoft will stay where it is in the stock market for much longer -- I think it will go down a bit soon, and more in the years to come. With the advancements of mac and linux, I dont believe microsoft is any longer a threat to anyone. |

should be able to use any controller... though I softmodded my xbox... I feel kind of guilty to have bought from microsoft, but Im copying games and playing roms, so I guess they didnt get much $$$ off me.... anyway, for more help go to www.xbox-scene.com or directly to their forums forums.xbox-scene.com . these are the guys to go to for xbox modding info -- there are tons of FAQS and guides on the main site, and the people in the forums are also rather helpful. Id help more myself, but I havent done a hardware mod. I did mine through the splinter cell exploit.... |

| dont complain -- I had a global history teacher last year that said I did NONE of my homework when I did it all. gave me, like, a 68 (Im in honors History). I DID IT ALL GODF***ING D*** IT. she said my friend was absent about 30 days (enough to fail) even though ALL HER OTHER CLASES HAD LIKE 10!!! Also, she did no homework, and nobody said she didnt.
seriously, this teacher is a nice person -- I thought she was a good teacher when class started. I just think she is seriously mentally insane. I think I have her again next year too. Thankfully, my final exam grade (99% I got 1/2 of 1 question wrong) is keeping me in honors by 1 point in my final average. there are more stories to tell, but I'll probably fill up the mysql database if I typed them all in... |

| Im frustrated with all the libraries that make me do the animating inside my code. I'd rather just whip out some gif animations and put them in there.
I dont care about the legal crap (Im in the U.S., and im pretty sure it affects me, but Im sure the gif police arent going to arrest me for open source games.) Im developing for linux and other OSs. Im not sure if SDL has gif support, but if it does thats awesome. any ideas? |

yeah, I just felt sbiffy and decided to post this  .
Im teching myself to play guitar (from a "Dummies" book -- hey, they're pretty good!). I couldnt afford lessons, and I bought a really (and I mean bottom of the line) crappy guitar. $50 on amazon. lol. it plays fine, and it IS surprisingly in tune with other guitars (pretty much perfectly) for the price it cant be beat I guess... it does seem a bit hard to play, and I was having some trouble fretting at first, but Im getting better each time I practice. but it's really annoying when your fingers hit other strings when fretting and it screws you up -- happens to me quite a bit. I really dont know much about guitars -- this is the first one Ive ever owned... I knew it wasnt a great quality guitar when I got it, but Im happy. Ive wanted to lean to play for years (as long as I can remember), and its MUCH more satisfying than playing my keyboard. I plan to buy an electric guitar when I get some $$$. Any idea as to what a good (yet affordable) electric guitar would be? I was thinking around $300-$500 in price, but less is good I guess. Im only asking because I (really) know nothing about guitars. |

| personally I think they're brainwashing people... seriously (Im not joking... at all) I cant stress this enough.
look at Tom Cruise's eyes now, and compare them with an old photograph of him. I honestly think they are trying to dominate the world using mind control (possibly through torture -- its been proven possible) I plan one day to temporarily join to find out, and then just leave. If Im right, and they try to stop me, the police will be on my side.

I really dont like any kind of government at all. instead I favor a mixture -- an evolved for of communism. free food (within a certain value) in regards to family size, free homes for all, a limit on procreation (like in china). everyone MUST work -- but there is still a bit of advancement, so it isnt really communism. aside from that, there is a paycheck that you get in regards to your work ethic (yes -- a bonus) for extra things. theres more but its only my dreams for a perfect government. I personally think people should look into science for answers and protection now. I dont care if you believe god will save you when the sun implodes, I want to be on the nt shuttle to the nearest earthlike planet. people should ignore each others beliefs and LET nonbelievers pay for their "sins". If I go to hell, Im paying for it, not you. go stem cell research go cloning. (we could clone an endless army -- one who loves to fight for our country, trained since birth -- like in star wars) go free speach -- NO CENSORSHIP. no software patents (done in europe, not in US. I ignore them anyway, so FBI you can kiss my behind) there IS intelligent life out there. without punishment, people will not change. there need to be consequences -- strict ones. Im for the death sentence, an eye for an eye, as it is said. education is the most important thing for the advancement and evolution of society. nature vs. nurture. let evolution control the minds of the people, not the inferior morals of their ancestors. that is what I believe. |

they've got the balls to do what the US couldnt. I dont think they were harsh enough. I wouldve hit harder and started a war over it. I think they should have a manhunt for the prime minister and kill him on live TV. I say fight terror with terror! show them they cant mess with you, just like the bullies at elementary school. I, personally, am totally against the UN. Im all for bayonets in war. its war. it means pain, death, and suffering. obeying UN rules of engagement make countries weaker. thats why terror has the upper-hand. if they get the bomb they WILL use it. They have nobody telling them no (that they listen to). as long as humanism is enforced, nothing can be done. so I say go isreal. hit them where it hurts. I wish the US was like that. |
