I'm going to say no, it might be possible but I doubt it.

I assume you know this but there are savestates that allow you to play in Wily Tower. I'm surprised no emulator supports saving in this game yet...

Hmm, I like the overworld but I really can't judge the level design based on your screenshot.

That's cool, I'll have to try it out later (Been meaning to rip those "Megaman" logos for a while anyway)

Just to add even more, you might want to try sketching out your map, labeling item placements, doors, and such. It'll give you some focus, "shooting blind" in Metroid is never reallly a good idea, as I know from experience.

This hack looks great, I'm not a fan of anime myself but that doesn't change anything, this is probably the best SMW hack I've ever seen. People here seem to be assuming jp is going to leave -insert thing here- from SMW intact and it'll ruin it but from what I'm seeing here I doubt that'll happen.

I was going to post a nice long rant but I changed my mind.

Is Mega Dog still arround? I haven't seen him since TEK went down (The third time, I believe...). You guys have actually inspired me to restart my Metroid hack I was working on ages ago, so if I don't meet my release date for my other hacks it's all your fault

That was in the original with the numbers reversed, so I have no problem with it (In fact I like it, it gives me an option of bypassing that stage if I want)

Looks like it's byte swapped, there should be a utility to take care of that.

Thanks for hosting me.

No problem. By the way, if you submit any hacks in the future it'd be a good idea to include your own screenshots, not because I don't want to take them (I have no problem taking them) but because you'll more than likely be able to capture the best parts of your hack.

Short answer: Hex editing.

Long answer: Disassembling and reverse-engineering the code, trial and error, hit and miss hex editing, etc.

Some of it has probably been documented by now, but that's how most people find any data in a game.

You can always set up a page on some shitty free service like Geocities or Angelfire, as was suggested you can always submit hacks to ROMhacking.net, but you need a place to host the patch and screenshots first.
