Hello, My name is Ragenule and I'm 14.I started ROM hacking around when I had just turned 13, and constantly switched between LTTP and SMW, but I found that I prefer SMW.
I've made posts here before, but I wasn't on for almost a year now and had to re-register. I really haven't contributed to the board before, but I'm currently working on an SMW hack (which I'm planing on releasing this time) but it currently has no name or story line, but those are in the works. I know how to use hex a little, but I do need help every now and then with problems that I run into, but before I do I Google first.

I'm hoping I get approved...it would be kind of embarrasing not to be. ._.

Honestly, all I ever hear on the news most of the time is a suicide bombing, murder, robbing, ect. When I stop and think about, I'm personally disgusted with the human race. We can be easially corrupted. Thats basically the whole damn root of the problem. Corruption. Terrorism, and so many other things, occurs due to corruption. There are so many things I hear on the news that I can relate to corruption so quickly that sometimes I'm disturbed to consider the person behind it human.

another problem we are facing currently is the war in Iraq. Personally I say let them kill each other because its getting our men and woman killed who wouldn't have been killed if we didn't decide to jump into the hell hole of war called Iraq. "Well whoever wins will come after us!". I've heard that before. Yeah okay, if it gets to a certain degree we should dive in, but I say that should only happen when other countries become seriously threatend by this war. And yesterday, I had seen a magazine (I can't remember the company) that had a pciture of two girls writing on bombs to give them a "personal gift". Its nuts that they would be doing that, because its almost as if the people over there love the bloodshed.

I'd really like someone to show me the other side of the problem before I take a permenate stance without knowing all the facts.

Hi, I'm having 2 problem with my OW..

1) I can't seem to get levels to appear properly after the previous has been beaten, and every now and then a small part of a random path seems to come out of nowhere and sort of garble up the area around it after I beat the next level (which still isn't visible).

2) I tried replacing the bridge that become visible on the Yoshi's Island section with the gate. When I beat the castle, Mario heads up to it, but the door isn't open and Mario doesn't go anywhere after he stops on the door. I've tried fiddling with the Destroy Level Tile settings, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, for problem 1, I've also set the level to appear on the event that occurs after I beat the previous level.

I know this was dealed with before, but almost a year ago I think. I'm curious as to whats causing this, and how I can go about fixing it.

Any help is appreciated.

Ah, sorry about that, I'll get a better picture.

Before this appeared, I had just modified the gfx file that contains the title screen tiles..but I can't see any tile that looks similar to the corner shading tiles.

Same thing happens in ZSNES, and I've tried removing the srm that snes9x makes, but no luck. I also don't have any patch that has the same name in the said folder.

So I'm guessing I'm just going to have to rebuild the title screen gfx and then find a new position for my custom title gfx? Seems simple enough.

EDIT: Yeah, that fixed it. thanks for the help guys.
