One thing you can do is say "Hello..." then if they start talking about selling you something, cut them off with "...you've reached so-and-so, leave a message at the beep". Or if you have caller ID and you know it's them, play the recorded sound of a dialup modem when you pick up and make them think they mis-dialed. An automated system might even delete your number.
Also, some automated ones wait for you to say hello, so if you say something else like "yo" they'll just hang up.

Crossed wire? I think if I was convinced I'd accidentally called a country on the other side of the planet, I'd be hanging up long before I tried to figure out how. Long distance rates are insane.

If you poke around there some more you might be able to make other fun codes, like changing the gravity or enabling multi-jump.

I honestly doubt it actually has happened. Just saying someone might do that. But like I said, keeping your customers happy is important to making money, so you might consider any time a company changes their mind about something because of customer demand (EG Microsoft continuing to support Windows 98 until now when they wanted to drop it 4 years ago) as a sort of example.

That statement is legit iff you were not satisfied by the products produced by the company when you used their services. Otherwise, it is bigotry to diss a company whose services you've never used. But I recall you had a playstation, did you not? so it is okay coming from you.

Yeah, I have a PSX and PS2 and a bunch of games for both. The incredibly poor durability of the PS2 was a signifigant part of my decision, but it was that whole rootkit deal that convinced me to just stop buying from them at all. It made it very clear that these people don't care about their customers at all; not just that they put it there, but that the only way to have it removed was another invasive program that opened up gaping security holes, and the only way to get it was to give them your email which (they even stated on the site) would then be spammed.

There are no new features, but the check box labels have been updated so there won't be inconsistencies between the two programs.

I noticed in this screenshot you have Don't Disable Clipping When Killed With Star enabled. That means if you have a Star you can keep hitting them as they die for mega points... is that what you intended?

Hm, I was just thinking... why does Mario wander at random when there's no path? Are the paths stored as a tilemap or an object-like format (this tile goes here, this one goes over there, etc) like the level data? If it's the latter, I bet just clearing out the memory area the paths are loaded to before actually loading them would help.

Electrical tape, actually. Had to wrap it around the battery several times, then around the mainboard a few times, to keep it held in tight, but it works.

This was one of my favorites, but too bad I never got to find out where these people are from.

Hehe, yeah, acting like you called them is fun too. Similarly, call people, tell them they won something, ask them to hold, then just hang up (or at a payphone, just leave).

I'm surprised this man is the only person to mention South Park or the Simpsons. I'm even more surprised that Doritokiller is the only one who mentioned Futurama and Family Guy. They are all very fine shows.

The Simpsons and Futurama should be implied. South Park is just stupid. Family Guy's not too bad, but not really great.
