I'm a democratic socialist. I try to keep a safe distant from the Old Guard of the various DS parties because of its hard-line rhetoric, and I try to keep VERY FAR AWAY from the Third Way of people like Gary Doer and Tony Blair. I just wish that the various DS parties would do as they did in the 70s and tap the populist vote.

That's sweet. I only found this machine now, it's a good one too.

Although the usual spot is a lot better, I went again this morning and I played A and got AA. No biggy. The biggy was getting a 300 combo in Captain Jack.

Geeogree, I think you're the one that needs to experience the world with open eyes. It is overly apparent that he was lying. The war was to finish daddy's business and to get rid of an annoyance. Saddam Hussein was hardly a danger, but with the Ba'ath party gone...who is to fill the gap? Well, we just got rid of moderately oppressive secularists. Now we get to bring in theocratics, Islamists and extremly violent dictators that want to re-establish Caliphates all across the Old Islamic Empire. And trust me, with the bitter divide in the Muslim world, their reigns are going to be a lot bloodier and a lot more hard to make democratic and free.

Um, no. The US collected intelligence was primarily British and American. It had spots of Turkish and Saudi intelligence. Russian intelligence on Iraq wouldn't expand beyond basic weapons capability and a really effective look at trade. That's about it. The Russians don't like to get their fingers into their allies business at this time. They've got enough to have their fingers in. The French are quite the same way, they'd rather stay out of the intel game. Germany, I'm not very knowledgable about that nation's current military. As for their agreeing, I'm going to have carefully examine that article and find its sources.

Anyways, I'm not getting any of the next-gen systems. None of them are doing anything interesting. I WAS considering the X-Box 360 because PDZ is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet and because PGR3 is AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEE!

But, then I realized that the BC compatability list ruled out over 75% of the titles I owned and I wasn't willing to play through only one game indefinitely.

Where is this magical UN document, geeogree? Let's see it. Produce to me a DEFINITIVE piece of literature that has all the empirical truths necessary to link Saddam DIRECTLY to Al-Qaeda.

Why would a secularist Ba'athist help religious extremists? How would that benefit him, other than destabilizing his country?

Geeogree, Clinton BOMBED the weapons plants, not because he was lying about the WMDs, but because he couldn't get inspectors in. Bush could. Clinton didn't bomb civilian areas, Bush did.

I'm aware of that Colin, the simple fact of the matter is that most of the games that I own just simply aren't on it yet. And given that they're not exactly top sellers they may not be on it for a long while. It was a large detriment in my choice of purchasing the system.

Instead of getting it, I'm putting my money towards something useful.

I just bought an AWESOME knitting book with some of my X-Box 360 money. About 25 of it.

Advent comes from Latin pre-fix ad and verb venio. The infinitive of venio, venire means "to come". Ad which is a preposition means up to or near to. Jul and other Scandinavian counterparts come from the Teuto-Celtic Yule celebrations. Although I've read competing theories about the basis of the Christmas tree. One of which is an Orientalist theory that it is a way to honour older pagan gods in the Middle East. The more accepted is that it is based on a European pagan traditions. I'll have to find my book on Christian and European symbology and find out...

And it does work. Saddam Hussein was the leader of a nation, ergo strong diplomatic stances would've worked.

Bin Laden represents a loosely knit group of terrorists and therefore there is no leverage the international community can use to incite diplomatic speech.

That's unrelated, as the Oil For Food program was inherently flawed and hindered by the endless beauracratic red tape the UN has to put up with.

Now, tell me. How did diplomacy fail in the lead up to the current conflict? Hm? Bush got inspectors in. The inspectors said they could find nothing.
