Yeah...

This happens every year... Im pretty sure... so anyways... yeah, here it is

For the next two or so weeks, AP testing SHOULD be happening all around the country(/world?). Yay for sitting in a cold gym for hours bubbleing and writing...

Anyways... heres the thread where you can...

-List what tests youre taking.
-List when they are and what day theyre on
-Ask for advice
-Give advice
-Complain
-Say "I dont have to take an AP test, Im in college!"
-Proceed to list college finals that may be coming up
-Come back from a test and go "YAY ITS OVER"
-etc...

So... yeah...

Me? AP World History... 70MC questions... 3 essays... 3.5 hours...

Wednesday afternoon. Am I ready? Not really. Am I panicing at this point? Nope... although, any advice would be nice...

"I don't have to take an AP test, Im in college!"

Ooh! College finals coming up... Let's see... engineering on someday, something on saturday, something monday, something tuesday, something wednesday... Wow. I should really try to remember what they are and when. Could be useful.

...

AP exams... I remember those. If nothing else, they got you out of school, which was always a good thing. Of course, none of the ones I took were that difficult, which always helped. Either way, good luck everyone.

Never took AP world history, so I can't help you there, sorry. Aside from the obvious "Don't panic".

I have two take home exams. Finals. One for Marketing (Tues) and one for Organizational Conduct (Monday). I have a History Final (Monday) that will cover the entire semester of material and a English Final (Weds)

All of them next week.

No AP tests this year, and finals aren't for a month or so.

Last year I took AP Euro, which SUCKED, and next year I'm taking an AP science.

Yeah, got the finals deal coming up all next week. Off on Monday, then an easy one on Tuesday, two easy and one harder one on Wednesday, and a paper due Thursday.

Took American History and Spanish as a junior and English and European History as a senior and, let me tell ya, those tests are not an experience that I miss. Absolute tedium.

Tomorrow I'm taking the test for AP Stats. The timing blows. It's during my one free period, there's no lunch, and I'm very sick. I'm going to be coughing the whole time and ruining it for everyone. 8D
As far as the test itself goes, I feel ready. Not much else to say.

College finals in 3 weeks for me. This includes an Intro to psychology test with way too much stuff for me to probably remember in the first place, a Sociology test (I hate this course), a Stats test (that's more like it) and last but not least, a Western civilization History test (a great course), but the exam is the last possible day that an exam could have been scheduled so it sucks a bit; it'll be easy though, so I guess everything balances itself.

Hmm...

I'm taking AP Calc BC Wednesday morning, AP World History Wednesday afternoon, AP English Lit Thursday morning, and I have 3 college finals this week as well: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00-3:00.

Fun fun fun.

I took plenty of AP tests in high school:

Psychology
American History
Latin: Vergil
Latin: Poetry
BC Calculus
Physics

And got plenty of exams here, often, being on quarters as I am.

AP testing is Advanced Placement. Basically, high school students take college classes offered at their school, and take a really big, excruciating test around this time of the year. If they get a 3 or higher (1-5 scale), they get college credit for the class.

U.S. History on Friday. I need a 4, which is like 60-65% on the multiple choice. Actually, the school I'm probably going to accepts 3's, so I'd have to super-choke on the test.

Typically a 3 maps to around 3 credit hours or one semester, depending on the course. A 4 or 5 could wind up giving a full 6 credit hours, or two semesters. I know BC Calculus will tend to give a full year at least if you do well on it, as it's the curriculum for a full year of college calculus.

Not that hard and don't determine much. I got 3's on my Euro History and English Lit and could've done better if I actually studied. But it wouldn't have changed much. It's not like I'm relying on any history or english classes for credit here in college.

I'm taking the same test as KATW, apparently. Exactly the same format, on the same day, in the afternoon.

I'm happy about it, though. I know my stuff, and I absolutely love history.

But now I'm wondering who and where KATW is...

I'm going to have to stalk him or something.

I had to get a 5 to obtain a college credit for my Spanish AP exam.

I did. But even so, the credit was not recognized when I came to PR. So I basically took the exam for nothing.

Mmkay, then I don't know what I'm talking about. For the AP class I took last year, they told me a 3 and up was passing. But I guess they're not all like that.

*cough*

Its... you know... the same test across the country... on the same day

I think practically all of them are pretty much scheduled into place across the board...
