| Puzzle games hold a special place in my heart (that area reserved for nostalgic junk) mainly because one the first video games I ever remember playing was one. When I was very young (1 or 2) I remember playing a nice little simple game called 'Pipe Dream' for that NES thingy. Unlike other puzzlers at the time, you didn't fight against gravity, but rather the weird substance called 'Flooz.' The object of the game was to make the 'Flooz' go through a predefined amount of squares by placing pipes on a grid. Since I was so young (and therefore sucked) I always asked my mom for help. Compared to me, she was the best player of the world as far as that game (hopefully I'm not getting this confused with SMW >.>). Since then, I've played many other puzzle games and actually admitted that there was a better puzzler (several, infact) than my 'special first.' Currently, my favorite puzzle game is Soooo... lets talk about puzzle games or something. |

That takes me back... I loved that game... And yeah, Tetrisphere is pretty awesome. But then, you can literally nuke the puzzle pieces... How could it possibly NOT be awesome? (edited by Alastor the Stylish on 11-17-05 10:00 PM) |

I wish I could find either of the last two Lolo games made... which would have been for WINDOWS actually.  With weird rendered graphics and everything.

Yeah, he definitely means Puzzle Bobble.  Which is great as well.
Oh My God is a REALLY strange Japanese puzzle game... best way I can describe it is Columns but you have snake-like pieces that you twist around as they fall to try line up matches/combos. Takes a little while to get the hang of but is pretty unique. |

| Oh, back to Solomon's Key for a second... how many games are in the series? I can only think of 4 (not counting Fire and Ice)...
- Solomon's Key (NES/SMS) - Solomon's Key (Arcade; different levels/graphics) - Solomon's Club (GB) - Monster Rancher Explorer (GBC) Both it and Lolo would be prime candidates for a DS port. |

| I'm going with Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack too. I get more and more near/into the 10.000s regularly, lately I scored about 15k ... that's nothing compared to Hiryuu, Xkeeper and Abused Rib, but every time I advance forward, it is great - now I slowly begin to see/understand that two minutes is really a LOT of time to score points.
I'm beginning to get angry if get below 10k - four months ago my average score was below 5k
That game simply rocks - and Puyo Puyo is great too; unlike in TA I have major problems with that "meeeooow" enemy (Poipoi ?) in Puyo Puyo Fever. Either I build up enough fever time to send him even moon puyos (what is not that often  ) or he simply does this and sends me tons of stuff in his 30 seconds  (edited by Surlent on 11-18-05 07:08 AM) |

| PPF is either great or sucks. Like, first level in the easiest mode I ended up fevering and getting two crown damage sent to the opponent (about 200 lines of Puyo). That's pretty bad.
And 15K isn't bad at all. |
