I usually don't get next-gen systems until at least 6 months after it comes out, since it's around then there's a price drop  But, Nintendo Rev, since you can get old games onto it. |

| I plan on trying to get all 3 systems but I'll go Revolution because it's going to be the cheapest one out of the 3. Can't wait till they reveal even more new features about the Revolution at E3 2006, there's still much they I don't know about that system. | |||

| Cheapest doesn't always mean best though.
I'm picking the Revolution as well although that's because it's the one I'm looking forward to the most at the moment. Things could always change, and I hope that we actually have a good battle this time around between the big 3. |

If you mean which system will be the best, I think that they'll all be good in their own areas, so it really depends on what you're looking for in a next-gen game. Gamewise, I'm waiting. If I were to go by what I already know, I'd give it to the 360. Nothing announced so far for the PS3 makes me want to get it, and we know next to nothing about the Revolution's line-up. |

| I'm going with PS3 simply for the fact that Resident Evil 5 is coming out for it and that PSX and PS2 haven't failed me yet. They've both had great games and endless amounts of fun. I'm also interested in the Revolution with all the old game downloads and waht not. | |||

| The Revolution will most likely be the controller of the next generation game war.
Microsoft already fucked up and I haven't heard that much good about the Playstation 3. Plus, Nintendo has broken limits with the Revolution. |

| Well, Aganim, Thayer and most people who have posted in this thread, why do you think so? you'll attract alot of negative comments if you just say your opinion without backing it up. I don't want to wade trough about 12-13 posts saying "Oh i like X", i would rather read stuff like "I Like better X because Z don't got G, and i am really hyped about it, but Z comes in as a close second" it doesn't have to look precisely like this, but you catch my drift? eh? But this is not a order, rather a comment towards how i feel about how y'all post.
... And yes, i'll pay for the tar and feathers. Myself? being a nintendiot, i'll probably end up with a Revolution. If the Revo sucks, i'll atleast have something cool lookin' to play F-zero GX on. | I choose Revolution, because so far it's the only one that has something new. The Xbox 360 and PS3 basicly are graphical upgrades of the Xbox and PS2. Also, Nintendo is known for their cheap (in terms of price) stuff. I don't want to pay 700$ (or even more) for a console when I could get a good computer for a little more than that. Which leads me to my other point.
If I want graphics, I can like, buy computer games (and a good computer). Then I can do so much more on that computer, which cost me about the same price as the console (unless they bring porn on the XBOX 360 or PS3. Then, we'll see). Oh, and I never had any problems with Nintendo (my Gamecube's working fine, my N64 is still working like if it was new (I got it when it just got out)). I wouldn't say the same for the Sony stuff. And with the stunt they pulled with they're "digitally protected music", Sony just gets even further down, IMO. |

| Way too early to tell. XBox looks like it will have a foothold by way of coming out early. I've also heard that the 360 is way easier to develop for than the PS3, though that could change. The PS3 will have the one-up with better disc media, as there's already talks about multi-DVD 360 games, though Sony might lose out in pricing. The Revolution is the biggest question mark for me. If they can come out with diverse controllers for different types of games (fighters, racing, shooters, etc), they could get developer support. Otherwise, it might just be their in-house which, while they deliver amazing games, might cripple their market share. | |||

| I've heard a lot of good things about each gaming system, but I think PS3 by far will be the best. I own an xbox and I was disappointed in the console and the games.
I probably wont be getting the PS3 until a few months after it's been released and the games for the PS3 seem to have a bit more variety. |
