I would highly doubt it >.>;; If the company would've spent enough time to translate, let alone redo the voiceovers, this game would have shipped in both countries.

You would have been better buying the English version which is out .-.;; Japanese games are, as sense would indicate, in Japanese. This is why the localization of games takes a very long time. If you bought it, assuming there was an English option off the bat, you should have researched it a bit more. Unless you know Japanese, you're out of luck..

If an International Version comes out (a.k.a. re-release of english back to japan), maybe you have a chance to get the japanese version to be in english... but I doubt it.

I really don't see a reason to rerelease the English back into Japan. There were a couple of changes made, but no big ones, and certainly no improvements or extras, as there were for the original game.

Square Enix does that sometimes with big games, though. It's just another way to cash in, but it's proven to be an effective one since it's like a special edition, basically.

And that's a fact. Unfortunately, the U.S. (and to some extent, Europe) tends to get the shaft very often when it comes to special editions, most notably with RPGs. I'm looking at you, FFX.

Super Mario 64 was rereleased. All I really noticed that was different was Mario gained (more) voiceovers in the American one that the JAP version didn't have.

Well, yeah, it is a crappy way to cash in, but I mean, even fanatics aren't STUPID, right? I mean, they'd have to add SOMETHING, right?

I really, really hope I'm right here, otherwise that's just sad.
