Yeah, I've heard of that. It's some kind of glitch involving Tanooki suit. It apparently tricks the game into thinking you are still a statue.

Ive herad of that. It thinks your a statue, but you can move. It's very starnge and it can make some levels unbeatable because you cant go down pipes. That sucks. .

Obviously the point is that you probably should avoid it if you want to finish the game...

Glitches in general are just done for fun. I mean, you can't finish minus world - why would you go in, then? For the heck of it.

Oh, you hilarious crazies. Super Mario Sunshine was many a bad thing but it did not have bad controls. FLUDD control was a little off, but things like Mario and his spin and whatnot were spot-on.

Weirdest thing would maybe be Chet Rippo. Or Rip Cheato.

Take a Tanooki Suit to the place in Ice Land where you can get the Hammer Suit, and hit the block with the hammer suit. when the hammer suit comes out, turn into a statue, and hope the hammer suit bounces on you. if it does, you will turn into grey tanooki mario! and I think there's also a glitch where you turn into a statue while in a pipe.

Yeah! That's the one I mean. Something to do with pressing Down and B at the same time on a pipe or something.

there also a glitch when you use a p-wing before enteingr a level with a tanooki suit inside, If you grab the tanooki suit without getting hurt, you will still keep the p-wing effect

Or, wait until you get a time up. If you used the Master Code to turn into a statue, turn back into a Tanooki.

I love that. Too bad it doesn't work on the world map.

One time on SMB3 I had a tanooki suit in Pipe Land, and when I went to a pipe icon on the map I went in the one where you can slide all the way down where the other pipe is, but I hopped in the air and turned statue; then when I slid as a statue all the way down I hit the wall, and died. !

YES. THANK YOU.

This one is minor, but on SMB3 I always thought being able to phaze through bricks by dash-ducking into a 1-block-high dead-end from the left while you're Super Mario was a little goofy. One time it was even necessary. That instance was W6-5, I believe, where two Nippers guarded the exit pipe. I was never very good with aiming those White Blocks in flight-mode, to be honest...

Argh, don't get me started on that bringing it up again. That was such an amazingly poorly designed level

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't possible to get stuck behind it...

Yeah, well, the level design of the Iced Land cave levels in general were not really that good in my opinion. They had great potential, but got boring very quickly. And, what was up with the random grass level in the middle of World 6 anyhow? That confused me for ages, and still does to this day.

See, that's the problem with SMB3. The later into the game, the worse the level design is... It seemed alright when I was young, but looking back at it now it's just disgusting.

World 7 was the worst, in my opinion.

Speaking of SMB3, I remember something very strange happened to me when I was playing it when I was young, on the NES.

In World 1-3, when you see the Second Boomerang Brother, there was a Green Paletted Note Block that was sitting on top of the 4 Wooden Blocks at the end there. I never got to interact with it though, as my friend playing the game at the time got killed by the Boomerang Bro.

I never did see it again, I have to say.

And Ice Land fails. It really does. ;

The earlier worlds were certainly much better. The last tolerable one was Sky Land, after that it went way downhill, like they used up all of their good ideas or something.
