This past friday, while playing KOF '96, I remembered how much I liked Ralf's victory cheer thing with his signature yell. So I decided to rip it from the game. I was planning on doing it the way I did my Joe Higashi KOF 2000 Entrance sprite.(Capture frames via mame's ctrl+p function, clean them up using psp4, and compile using an animator) I first positioned the frames on the same ground with Ulead Gif Animator, but timing was a real bitch. ImageReady didn't help much either. So I downloaded a trial of animation shop and used that for my transparency and timing. I also cleaned up some more stuff with that. Considering how little time it took me to make this 14 frame rip perfect as compared to the 51 frame joe higashi one, I was satisfied.

Ralf's Victory Cheer from King of Fighters 2002. Enjoy.

that was very enjoyable thank you.

For a ripped sprite animation, that's quite an introduction.

Considering that you don't really have professional software for ripping and animating sprites ( or at least what I use to do it ) That's pretty shweet.

Thanks guys. Yea, I'm thinking of taking requests from arcade games, preferably KOF. Any takers?
