So a friend and I have recently been beating SMW 100%, and we got bored, so we decided to try and beat it while being small the entire time. We got all the way to forest of illusion, and we can't get the secret exit out of the forest without being able to break the blocks to get to the key and exit - ie, without being big.

Does anyone know of a way to break blocks without being big? From what we've found, it's not possible, and thus you can only get 69 levels completed without ever using a mushroom/flower/feather.

Anyone know if it's possible?

He can, if you land on him while spin jumping and there's spin blocks under you. Just... Not when small.

Kyouji Professor Logic is right. Too bad, though. That would have been quite an accomplishment.

Yeah, pretty much everyone knew that.
I just gave the short answer to...'cause I was lazy.

Why not just get a mushroom, break the block, then continue on your journey?
It doesn't really matter anyway. You can either give up, which'd make your quest a complete waste of time, or you can finish it!

But wouldn't that completely ruin the point of it?

But it HAS to be done, so "why not?" I say.
Oh! I also forget to say that once you've broken the block, purposely get hit to shrink yourself again.

Well, actually there is a way to break that blocks with Yoshi... Enter the pipe with Yoshi and use his tongue to grab the key, and immediately jump. If you did it correctly, the movement of the key going to Yoshi's mouth should make the blocks invisible for a little bit. Now hurry up and get to the keyhole before the blocks get solid again! I hope that helped.
