No matter how good you may be, your talent is wasted and your stuff is worthless if you don't finish anything. And if you discontinue (or even simply keep on hold) your projects because of trivial forum arguments, either you're way too sensitive and care too much, or you weren't all that motivated in the first place... Whatever.
On the bright side, your ninja idea sounds great... Except hacking SMW all the time must be boring... At least it's quite boring to play most SMW hacks.

Seems like you only say good with people who don't make snobby comments... sometimes you have to do that if it's a problem... but ther are people who have good comments, yet don't say them in the way everyone approves of, such as Glyph Pheonix.

No, I'm cool with some constructive criticism, but when it's at the point where people who you hardly hear about start thrashing her, and the more experienced like Bio, and SoNotNormal liked her work. Then...yeah it tends to be people who don't know what their talking about. She's got some skill.

Neither.

It was more like a few people acting like immature brats (not naming names. you know who you are). Arguing and offending each other over the stupidest things. It was a major turn-off for me.

SMW isn't the only things in which I work on. I work on other graphics for games here and there such as the graphic upgrade that I am working for Super Mario Wars.

I was asking in a way of oppinion. That if there was any codes that can improve my hack. I was not asking for codes. Read more closely next time.

Some people will take it to heart, because maybe they put a buttload of work in it, and all of a sudden someone has to thrash them; it's cool to have constructive criticism but there is a more suttle way to do things.

Quite simply because this is a forum that deals with things I'm interested in. I'm interested in looking at what others make or find.

Hate to say it, but you comments are really getting me pretty pissed off. Quit telling me to quit because people like you offend me. The only important thing is to work on my hack with the support of the community. I don't need people like you telling me that I am frail and should quit because of it.

I do not want you to stand up and fight me, but to stand up and work on your hack(s), to push you to try harder to finish what you started.

As for the ego thing, I just skimmed through your Maria thread, and stumbled on posts from you that were like "I'm quite an artist"... So yeah.
Let me tell you one last thing: no matter how good you are, you should stay humble. Regardless of how many people flatter your ego, praise your work, etc...
If you're really good, people will see it themselves or will state it for you, so there's no need for you to brag about it. Arrogant people, regardless of their talent, are not (or less) respectable to me.

Last time I told you I'd stay away from your topic to avoid problems, which is not something I would have done if my sole purpose was to troll. But since it looks like we've got constant communication problems, I'll simply stay away from all of your topics from now on. So worry not. Ciao.

I'm on your side Sgraff, but he is right on one thing; you shouldn't take it from one person, keep doing it; I've talked to a lot of people on this board who loved your hack coming along; as a matter of fact your killing me because you still haven't released a demo. A lot of people like you project, keep it rolling!
