| Nova: I always wonder about how "civilized" places might be with more technology. Guns don't seem to have been much good in civilizing places like this...about as wild as anywhere, if not more so.

| Kurima: She sure did. Should've seen how ecstatic she was when she did it.
Kurima pushed off all the hay off of Gato, revealing its body. It was saying ontop of a wagon, which would've made it easy to move Gato out. Kurima: From what I remember about Gato, I'd call it more of a robot than a reploid. Unless the ancient texts didn't intend to make the two sound different. Well, better pull this out. |

| Glenn's face went semi-red, as it tended to when someone showed a greater knowledge of things than he had... Which strangely enough was almost always Kurima.
Glenn: Yeah, they weren't very clear on the difference... Though I did gather that there was one. JD said nothing about the robot. As with most technologically advanced things he had come across it seemed somehow... simplistic to him. |

| Kurima: Thank you for your help but..
Kurima's eyes were now hidden behind her shining glasses. She eventually looked at Gato, with a slightly redder face. Kurima: I've.. actually grown very fond of working on Gato. The work I've done has been a bit sloppy.. and I haven't even let Glenn help me. Kurima's tone of voice calmed down. Kurima: Besides, I would prefer if you guys would get rest instead of helping me fine tune him. Kurima made a mental note to thank Nalon as the ranch owner stepped inside the barn. Nalon: Hey, ya'll! Dinner's ready! I may not be as good a cook as Hikari, but I still think the stew's mighty tasty. |

With that, Nova walked outside. He smiled as he saw the pot of stew with the bowls and other people around it. This was definitely a very "cozy" atmosphere...he could get used to it...if he were ever allowed to, anyway. |

| Kurima stepped very close to Glenn, and spoke with a very low voice.
Kurima: Er.. Sorry for getting so close.. Glenn, I need you to keep a close eye on this guy. He's reminding me a bit of John, but I feel a bit more apprehensive about this guy. Kurima turned around and stepped up to the wagon Gato was on. |

| Nova walked over to the pot and filled up a bowl, then sat up against the fence to eat. The stuff wasn't the best he'd ever had, but certainly the best he'd had in a little while. He looked at Nalon.
Nova: So...how much of this is there? I don't want to impose, but if you made plenty, it might be better for Sabor to have some of this rather than have to go hunting later. Not sure how healthy some of the critters around these parts are. |

The was barely poking out of the horizon when a tiny, blue cucco was giving it its all in announcing the new day. Cojiro: Cuc-COOOOOOOO! Nalon had caved in, allowing Nova, Sabor, and JD to sleep at the ranch. However, they would have to sleep with the cows in the barn. Marin was already running around, chasing after the cuccos. Nalon: She doesn't even look like she's a bit worried 'bout her sister. Kurima: She has a lot more faith in those guys than we do. Nalon, holding onto a bucket of water, walked by Kurima, who was already tinkering with Gato. Nalon: Sounds to me like you're a bit happy 'bout poor Hikari getting sick. Kurima: What? How could you say something like that? Nalon: You seem like a little kid chasin' 'round a buncha cuccos. Kurima's eyes were now hidden behind shining glasses again. | Nova got up to the overly loud Cucco, and stretched. It hadn't been the most comfortable bed, but it was alright. As he got up, Sabor rose behind him.
Nova: Even if the bedding wasn't great, you make a nice pillow, at least. Sabor stretched as well, showing just how big he was, before walking outside. Nova followed, and the two walked over to Kurima. Nova: I'm ready to go whenever the others are. No sense in delaying any longer. |

Nalon stepped back outside, pushing what seemed to be an OT'd Johnnathan out the door. Nalon: Gonna have to be draggin' this one along for a bit. He was mumblin' something 'bout writin' or something.. I'll have to go check for Glenn. |
