Borrowed my friends Jap version of KH2. Couldn't make sence out of any of the story. (Its like trying to speak Mexican in Canada.)  The controls are actually kinda cool. Unlike other games, this RPG requires quick thinking.

| Perhaps he means an English version of Final Mix? it seems like something they would release in English a year after the sequel made its way here, the bastards. However, I'm one to believe that we'll never get to see that version of KH in the US. Not because of the effort needed to translate it into English (hell, all the extra scenes with voice overs were done with the English actors), but just due to the sense of "So, you American's think you can out due us by adding Sephiroth as a boss? Well hah! Now we add this "unknown", henceforth screwing around with your heads, as well as your wifes, children, and old mothers!"
On another note, who wants to bet that a Final Mix of KH2 will fly up out of nowhere and magically land on Tokyo's store shelves next year? =/ |

| Well, is fighting the unknown REALLY that valuable? I don't feel like we missed out by all that much in this case. It's not like they really butchered the game or anything.
But yeah, I do think they'll get some special KH2...like they got FFX-2 Last Mission (best example I could think of offhand) |

It seems to have become a bit of a Squaresoft/Enix tradition at this point. I honestly expect it about 6 months after the American release. |

| I haeard rumors that the game is allready out and people bought it allready also. Don't get me wrong I have not seen it out, but it may be for a special call. Like some people got it over here before the release, but somehow it got her, but its not possible it came out yet. | |||

| Well, there isn't a special set release date, as far as the stores are concerned. I think Anya mentioned earlier in the thread something about that, so she could in fact take it out of the shipment and start playing it early if she wanted. | |||

| There's no doubt that shipments have already been broken into and either sold or used for personal entertainment. It's just the way it goes, and no matter how many store owners get busted for it, they keep on going.

| Dang. Nobody knew what "Jap ROM" meant? It's where you could probably download it with lower quality and ran through an emulator. Very close to a GB download or more. |

| Everyone knows what Jap Rom means, but this is a PS2 game, there arent roms for PS2 games, there are ISO files, but even those are incredibly hard to find and is watched more carefully than SNES roms. | |||

So by none of us getting it, since KH is an ISO, and 2007's in the future, and whereas the Japanese ISO of KH probably came out somehwere around 2003 or so... yeah. Also, the difference in a GB ROM download and a PS2 ISO download is ginourmous. Sort of like comparing a... well, uh 300 Kb file to a 3 Gb file. Or around that, I've never succesfully downloaded something that big on 56k, even on Bittorrent, so I wouldn't know the exact size. |
