Apparently, Billy West (voice actor who played Fry and many others) said on his website's forum that there's a deal for 26 new Futurama eps ready to go. Since this is coming from Billy, I'm inclined to believe it. Let the wobbling begin!  |

*checks date* And it's not April 1st. Yay! Futurama was a great show, not as good as the Simpsons when it first came out, but dare I say it better than the Simpsons in the more recent declining years. I'm looking forward to new episodes. |

At least it's not as bad as American Dad... I'll be happy if Arrested Development gets picked up by somebody, even if it's on a premium channel.(none of which I get, but can still pick up da dvds of course.) |

| I'm betting 20 exp pts, 300 gill, and a fire ring that within the next five posts, someone's gonna post how great it is that Futurama's coming back without having read the thread. =P
It's a shame, though. The show really did have a sucky run on Fox, but Adult Swim used it as a primary cash cow for how long? Personally, I'm fine with the show being canceled before it could degrade along with the Simpsons. Although I wouldn't mind that whole story about the brains and Nibbler's species being explained once and for all (they sort of left it at a high point with Leela being some sort of "other one"). Oh, and more Bender with the exclusion of Simpson's cameos would be nice. |
