| Allison: Thomas! Let's get.. Thomas, your ropes?
Thomas: I had managed to remove them a while ago. Allison was on the third wagon, with a young man with short blonde hair. His clothing was a bit tattered, but still seemed to have a bit of puffyness to it. Allison: Then let's go! Thomas: But, I-- Allison grabbed the young man's arm and pulled him off the wagon. They managed to catch up with Charolette. Together, they were running towards the front of the detachment unit when Allison saw what looked like Arminas standing infront of the Waterways entrance. Allison: Arminas?! Charolette: Did you say 'Arminas'? Arminas: Allison, go inside! Hurry! Clara: Who's that with her? The smoke finally started to clear up. A bunch of soldiers appeared between Arminas and Allison. Arminas: Bastards! Get out of my way! Lightning bolts struck the soldiers closest to Allison. Lucas: *pant pant* I really wish I didn't over do it.. Arminas: Allison! Get to the ruins! |

| Ark leaped out of the area he was in and started to go over towards Alison when he noticed something. It was one of those three that would've killed him.
"I told you I'd be back Stingle." Ark kept running, he didn't want to fight Stingle with so many around. He didn't really want to fight Stingle at all. "Should've killed me when you had the change!" |

| Lucas: Alright, Lily, let's get going.
------------------- Clara: Selk, did you see where they went? Arminas: No. As long as they ran in here, it'll be just fine. Arminas and Clara looked around. It seemed to be another cavern of some sort, except that it also consisted of a series of half-pipe trenches, and paths that led to other trenches. There were a few trenches that had water in them, but the rest didn't. -------------------------- The smoke was almost gone, but it was obvious that Stingle was all alone. All of the troops have been either knocked out, taken down by the bandits, or just not near Stingle. Stingle watched Ark quickly approach. He held up his sword, and stared at Ark through the mask. It seemed like Ark was going to be in for quite a fight. However.... Stingle: ... You should be with your group. |

Danielle: What? Damn that girl! Danielle turns around and begins running towards the ruins' entrance. Rufus: Hold up, ya tease! ------------------ Cedric: Quoshi, Cidoshi, good work. Quoshi: But we didn't do anything. Cedric: That's fine. Everyone got inside the Waterways just as we planned. I'm just glad I got some more entertainment, even when I didn't plan it. ------------------- Lucas: Arminas! Clara! Ark! Are you all alright? Lily: Hey, where's Ally? Arminas and Clara shrugged. | Ark didn't say a word as he followed. He was concentrating on listening behind him. If anything came into the ruins, he'd hear them before they could sneak up on them. At least, that's what he hoped for. | |||

Performing another insane lancer-leap, Sigmund eclipsed the sun for a second as the camera shifted itself to show him dropping in right by the entrance, signaling for Ark to finish running inside. But what about the troops he had been assigned to take out? The common man would see a wad of them situated around where Sigmund had began his spring, but a closer inspection would reveal that all they were currently beating on was a pile of tattered robes and a discarded cardboard box... Sigmund, of course, always carried a spare. "Ark, git in 'ere! S'finally good ta see yeh've got the right path in mind!" He slipped into the cave... Lily: Well, if I was trying to run away, I would try to take the first turn I can get. And since this way has water... I'd go with the next closest turn. Lily pointed over at the path that had a wide set of stairs that led down to a dry trench. Lucas: It's something. Let's move before the soldiers finally realize we're in here. |

Ark didn't budge. "Going the dry way is idiotic. Not only could they follow our foot prints, but they would also want to go that way because of the lack of water. Armor rusts you know." Ark sighed. "Sigmund, we should take care of extra foot prints and catch back up with the others. That, or we can completely lead them away and sneak back." |

| Arminas heard Ark's words and stopped moving.. Sense had finally come back to his brain. He looked down at his feet.
Arminas: Puddles of water.... Dirt... Foot steps! Lily: Army, did you find something? Arminas: I think one of these footsteps might be from Allison. I don't know about the others. Clara: What about those footprints, Selk? Arminas noticed footprints that seemed a bit different.... Arminas: ... They're being chased by soldiers! |

Sigmund leapt from place to place in the cave, flying ahead of the group and into the darkness. He spread his footprints to and fro and down the various winding paths that the cave offered, but Kept within a certain radius of the group. He took great care, as well, not to tread on the footprints that Arminas had deemed as belonging to Allison. Quite a lot of action from such an old man... At this rate, thought Sigmund, I'm gonna be wheezin' along... |

| Ark felt a strange sensation come over him and he felt sick. He looked at the water and it looked glowing to him. No one else could see it but him. He ignored it and stood at the edge of the dry trench.

Lily quickly hopped on Ark's back. Arminas: Allison! Arminas, closely followed by Clara, ran into another trench. A bit down stood two soldiers. They were inching their way towards a broken ledge above the trench. It seemed Allison and the other two she was with were cornered. Clara: Oh no you don't! Demon Fang! Clara' hands started to glow as she stabbed her sword into the ground. A wave of energy quickly surged all the way into the two soldiers, knocking them both out. Arminas: Phew.. I'm glad we made it in time. Allison, can you get down? Allison: Yeah. Let's go, Charolette. Charolette stumbles backward, nearly knocking Thomas down. Charolette: But there are Koehra down there. Why are you going with the enemy? Allison: They're not our enemies. Come on, you saw them. They came to rescue us. Clara: Why is that girl hesitating? Lily: What's her damage?! She's just like Cassie! Arminas: Grr.. Which is why we can't do anything..... Clara: Huh? Lucas: The army'll find us if we don't hurry up! Allison: Charolette, please.... Charolette: You can go by yourself. Allison: I can't do that. |

He grinned as he panted, proud of his work and sure that the soldiers would be at least a little bit delayed in their pursuit. But there were more pressing matters at hand... Like how, now that Allison was safe, they would get their hands on that brooch. Sigmund had almost forgotten entirely what the darn thing did, too... |

Allison: Please, Charolette.. Charolette: No, I say! How could anyone possibly trust Koehra?! Allison: Charolette! Arminas clenched his teeth. Danielle: That's as far as you go! Everyone's attention was brought over to a ledge that sat down one side of the trench. Danielle was standing next to what looks like a very large lever. Whether or not she was misled by Sigmund's wild footsteps, or if she just happened to be the only one not to figure out the predictable path really didn't matter at this point. Danielle: You there! Alliance marine! I'm impressed you managed to survive after we tossed you off that cliff. This time you won't be so fortunate. Arminas: ... Allison, jump down! I'll catch you! Danielle: Oh no you don't! There was a rumbling sound that echoed throughout the Waterways. Clara: What's that rumbling? |
