| Poetry qualifies for modern art, ne? Meh, just move it if it isn't, I can't think of where else I'd put this though.
Anyways, I originaly posted this up on my deviantArt, but figured I'd share it here, just to get some feedback/for your enjoyment and whatnot. I really don't know what brought this about, actualy. This series of haikus (or rather, poems in haiku 5-7-5 form, they aren't traditional by any means) sort of tells the story of two young children growing up, going through various stages of life (kids at play, school kids, etc) and how the realize their feelings for one another. It's simple, but it gives you alot to fill in for yourself..I'm kinda proud of it for what it is, anyway. This is really just my first attempt at this sort of thing...I know it might not be particularly good, but yeah ;x Enjoy? -- Little boy at play running cheerfuly without a care in the world. Little girl at play silently she sits alone as she hugs her doll. Little boy at work studies hard so he'll succeed where will his heart lead? Little girl at work knows not what she's striving for longs to find her place Little boy alone how could he have not seen it? She was always there. Little girl alone now she knows its really him she can't live without Little boy in love embracing her in his arms whispers "I love you" Little girl in love holding him so close to her weeping tears of joy Little boy at rest, tenderly, he cuddles up asleep in her arms Little girl at rest, presses her lips to his cheek holding him so close Little boy and girl from the start the two of them were destined to be Little boy and girl Love like theirs could only last an eternity (edited by Keitaro on 03-17-06 04:27 PM) |

I like them. They're unqieu and have a pretty good sense of creativity to them. Good work at making the whole *Little boy* *little girl* thing work  |

yeah...it was really hard to fit in something that worked without making it -too- vague and loosing meaning. But overall, I think I did a decent job of capturing what I tried to. Glad you liked them  |
