Make sure your ISP doesn't block port 25 outgoing... mine does, so I had to reroute outgoing through 27 (which my hosting service thankfully offers)

it could block port 25. I've tryed 26 and 27 but still no luck. How do you find out what blocks and what not?

Sorted now. Found out all i had to do was tick the secure password box thing for outgoing mail. it working fine and dandy now.
