Sigmund sighed and scratched his head.

Sigmund: "So then, if'n it can't git close, what're we worryin' about?"

Lucas: INDIGNATION JUDGEMENT!

Clara: Indi-

Before Clara even finished her though, a mighty beam of pure energy had came down from the heavens and struck the ground infront of Lucas. It sounded like the earth was in pain as the powerful attack actually tore up the ground. Clara found herself laying on a shallow portion of the lake. She wasn't sure how she ended there. The boy, who was far enough from the blast, was simply humming as he carefully cleared the crystals off of the raft, strangely not being hurt in anyway.

After the smoke cleared, Lucas stood above a crater, with his glasses shimmering in a way so that it'd hide his eyes.

Lucas: Get up. Both of you. I know both of you can take more than that.

Sky was sprawled out on one side of the crater while Ark was on the other side, with a bit of debris laying on him.

Lucas: I don't care what excuse you two give me, but I want this to stop now. If you're going to have your little pissing contest, then do it OFF the island.

There was a bit of smoke that hovered above Lucas.. which strangely formed the shape of a D and an M.

--------------

Arminas: Well, that rocky path's the only way to go, and that thing will just.. like attack us. That thing's long enough to clear us off the rocks.

Sky got up somewhat painfully. He smirked a bit to see that the "almighty" Ark had gotten hit at least as badly as he had, and then turned, rather upset, to Lucas.

Sky: I don't know why you're so keen on stopping me from taking out someone who tried to keep us from escaping what he thought was a deadly situation, and who just now tried to impede our progress. If he's not an enemy, then who is?

"Now where the hell did that come from?"

Ark pushed the debris off of him and got to his hands and knees. He figured with that kind of fire power and someone to keep him busy, this wasn't the best place for him to be currently.

"Well uhh... have fun!"

Ark hopped up onto his feet and ran back towards the beach. He felt a pain in his side with every step. He had instinctively turned, but taking it face first might've been better.

"Well, at least next time I can predict that... hopefully there won't be a next time though."

Lucas stood firm.

Lucas: No one was listening to me.

Boy: I was just killing boredom--

There was a clap of thunder heard far above.

Boy: I'll keep quiet, sir.

Lucas: I wanted to know the reason for this idiocy. I assumed both you and Clara were mature enough to come with me, but it seems I might have been wrong. Both of you started acting like children as soon as a bigger child came up.

Boy: I've got the raft clear!

Lucas: Good. Let's get going.

There were two more claps of thunder. However, this time, one struck Sky, and the other struck Ark. They weren't very strong bolts at all, but it was strong enough to feel like a knock on the head.

Lucas: And make sure you don't smirk like that again, Sky. And let him run.

Lucas: So be it.

Lucas walked over to the raft, He stepped onto it, and sat down at one of the ends. He held his hands in the water, allowing steam to pour out. He lets out a groans, and then begins to breath harshly.

Clara slowly sheepishly walks onto the raft.

Clara: ... Are you ok?

Lucas: I've been better.

Boy: As soon as I find a nice pole to push us off, we'll be right off.

----------------------

Arminas: Unless you've got a better idea, old man.

Arminas's fists started to glow as he rushed at the giant worm. He unleashed a quick succession of blows to the monster, He was eventually knocked to the side by its flailing head. Fortunately, Arminas didn't fall off the rocky path.

Arminas: Grr.. Lily... a little help?

Lily: Oh! Right right.. Well, lemme think of a fire spell.

Ark held his head, that last lightning bolt was just an insult to him. He didn't let it get to him though and just kept going. Ark saw the coast line and then saw what looked like the Long Long Demon's brother.

"Oh dammit..."

Lily: Here I go! Firewall!

Lily set loose a blazing wall that ran up to the worm, and immediately set it on fire. The giant worm let out a bleating roar of pain.

Lily: Haha! Got it!

Arminas:But you almost got me! I barely rolled out of the way.

Lily: Oh, I knew you'd do that.

The worm seemed to grow fatter before it released a thick mist from all of its mouths. The fire was put out.

Lily: Darn..

Arminas: Atleast we don't have to wait much to hurt this one.

The worm slowly started to fatten up again.

Lily: Hey.. you don't think it can, like, suck up the water and shoot us with it, do you?

Arminas: ... I'd rather not find out.

Arminas rushed at the beast again and started pummeling it. The worm let out a bleat with every punch from Arminas, but it didn't attack. It just kept up growing fatter, and fatter.

Lily: We don't exactly have anything sharp, Gramps..

Arminas: But I can do enough with this! Impact!

Arminas swung his right hand into the worm's body. He kept his hand there, and focused more energy into his hand and actually dug deeper into the worm.

The worm let out a painful roar before a stream of water came gushing out at the top end of its body. Its body started to flail until it pointed downward. Arminas was caught in the stream of water and was washed up onto the beach. Lily, too, was caught in the blast and thrown backwards. The stream eventually stopped.

Hailey was, fortunately, too far to be affected, and so was Cidoshi.

Cidoshi: Hey, you meanie! Take this!

The sun glared strongly off of Cidoshi's goggles and giant wrench as he hefted it off his back. He reared his tiny arms back, pushing back a bit of sand as he spread his legs for proper balance.

Cidoshi: Ultimate Technique: Flying Wrench of Doom!

The yoshenyoshi chucked the wrench, causing it to spin with a perfect arc across the ground. The wrench made its way to the monster, giving it a devastating 'plink' sound.

Hailey: 'Plink'?

The wrench bounced off of a tooth and just fell onto the rocks.

Cidoshi: Eh heh.. I'm not exactly the strongest of the Yoshenyoshi.

Ark ran towards the worm and jumped into the air, putting all his weight into one forceful thrust.

"Not another one of these things! They don't die!"

Ark pulled his spear out and was shot backwards by a blast of water.

"Yeah, let's poke it, it won't just shoot water out of its wound!"

The worm flailed its body around for a moment after Ark had attacked it, but it was moving slower.

Lily brushed her hair out of her eyes and managed to catch a glimpse of the worm.

Lily: Hey! I think it's getting weaker!

Sigmund: "Geh, as usual, yeh're all makin' us old and experienced people do it themselfs..."

Sigmund stepped a few steps forward, and closed his eyes. Behind his wrinkled lids, the wurm glowed in a faint image, almost like some kind of infared image...

"All righ'... Lessee if'n I still gots it in me..."

Sigmund's hunched, feeble back creaked and groaned as it straightened like an iron bar. The sound of the air bubbles in his spine popping and cracking was like bubble wrap, muffled only by his thin skin and surrounding vestaments. He twisted his neck from side to side, crackling and groaning the entire time he readied his bones for what could possibly be an earth-shattering maneuver.

"Ah, forget the cinematics 'n all that."

Yeah, I agree. This is really just excessive. I mean, you're an old man. That enough says something.

"Righ', I am! An' don' you forget it! Makin' me go through all that..."

Sorry. Look, can you just do your thing so we can get on with the story?

"Yeh, yeh, I'm gettin' on it..."

Right, then. I'll just get back to my job...

Sigmund straightened up, and suddenly squatted his legs and took off high into the sky, like some sort of demented, wrinkly lancer! He somersaulted over and over again, and his robes and tunic caught the wind beneath him as he began his descent. He shifted himself in the air, whipping around so that his feet were facing outward as he curled his body into what looked like a jacknife dive, but was actually a crushing heel-drop! A semblance of ki energy gathered around his sandaled appendage, and as he connected with the giant wurm, it reared back in anguish!

"Half Truth!!!"

Sigmund bounced off of the wurm to the back row of the fight again, and glanced upward to admire his work. The wurm hissed and roared, and expelled blast after blast of harmless mist, but in the end was still standing.

"Still alive, eh? Well, yeh're not gonna be fer much longer..."

Lily: Hey, looks like Gramps is actually useful for something aside from being sneaky.

Arminas pushed himself off of the ground. His back felt rather scratched up, but for the most of it, he was alright. He held up his fists, glowing once again, and started walking towards the monster.

Cidoshi: Oh no! My wrench is going to get lost!

Cidoshi quickly waddled past Arminas.

Hailey: Come back, Cidoshi! You're going to get hurt!

Arminas: Oh hell..

Cidoshi bent over to pick up his wrench, laying right infront of the giant worm. The worm opened up the largest mouth it had and moved in on Cidoshi. Arminas, who was already running, dove into Cidoshi, effectively knocking the Yoshi out of the way.

Lily: Army!

And in the next moment, Arminas disappeared behind a set of teeth.

Hailey: Noo!

However, the worm didn't seem like it was enjoying its time trying to swallow Arminas whole. Infact, it reared back in pain. Its body bulged out as vast amounts of mist shot out of its mouths and holes. It let out a final bleating roar before Arminas ripped through the largest set of teeth, and then toppled over into the water.

The monster slowly sank into the water, motionless.

Lily: Holy cow!

Lily ran up to Arminas as he slowly stood up on the rocky path, and clenched onto his arm.

Lily: That was awesome!

Arminas: Ah.. yeah.

Sigmund's near-incomprehensible speech was accompanied by a clap on Arminas' shoulder, followed by a fair bit of coughing and wheezing on his part as he took a knee...

Lily stepped away from Arminas and turned to Sigmund.

Lily: Hey, Gramps. Are you ok? I can't really heal fatigue, unless you hurt yourself back there.

Cidoshi: I have never seen such a feat performed! And the goat--

Arminas: Like hell it was a goat!

Cidoshi: --has been defeated!

Arminas let out a sigh and looked up in the sky. He was tired.

Arminas: I hope the actual meeting location is somewhere calm and safe.

Ark stared in disbelief at the old man's attack. No because of the fact that he could do it, but the fact that an old man just jumped higher than Ark had ever jumped before. He was still in a state of disbelief when Arminas defeated the worm. Ark smiled a bit when he noticed what Arminas had done, they could take care of themselves here after all, but that lead to another question, why was he here?

"Nice job Arminas, working from the inside out, it was so suicidal it had to work!"

Ark was totally serious.

Arminas let out another hard pant as he started walking along the rocky path.

Arminas: It was definitely weaker than the one we saw back at the mountain..

Lily: But you definitely wouldn't be able to take it on if it wasn't for all of us. Hurray for team work!

Arminas: Teamwork..

Lily: You know, we should come up with a team name..

Arminas started to get lost in thought. He was pulled out of it as he saw Cidoshi hopping around him.

Cidoshi: But you still sacrificed yourself for my wellbeing! I am most truly grateful!

Arminas: Ah..I was just.. Oh, come on, let's hurry up and catch up to the others.

"I think I helped them on accident, or they may have a lot of new cuts to talk about."

Ark turned and started walking, he was glad he didn't have to fight that beast. Going inside of it would've been a nightmare.
