| Ark looked at the water and took a step away from the edge of the boat.
"Well, I hope monsters don't like to attack boats. There are a few under us now and all. Can we get to the island quickly? I would prefer to fight on solid ground." Ark kept looking into the water a little nervously. Sea serpents were probably his biggest fear. They'd crushed his boat in the middle of the ocean and he was forced to fight them from the debris of his own ship. That was a really rough month. |

| Sky had been recovering surprisingly quickly, and while he wasn't as spry as the boy seemed to be on the rocks, he wasn't falling anymore. And improvement was still coming. He offered his back to Clara.
Sky: You know, if you don't mind, I think I've got this enough so I could take you the rest of the way. Though I couldn't blame you if you wanted to do it on your own. |

| Arminas slowed the boat down a bit before letting it beach itself next to the other boat.
Arminas: Looks like they're already moving on.. What now? I can't see them.. Lily: Remember what Bella said? Arminas: Bella? Lily: That dancer lady. Anyway, I think she said something about Angel Lake. Angel Lake is said to be beyond Raging Bay. Arminas shut off the engine and stepped towards the edge of the boat. ----------------- Boy: Are you sure? There's still another thing to be riding... The boy, Sky, Lucas, and Clara had already cleared the rocks. The boy ran up the hill, and pointed at what was beyond it. Lucas and Clara walked over to the hill, and were greeted by a beautiful lake. The water had the perfect shade of blue to let anyone's eyes get lost in. Clara: It's beautiful! Boy: And that's what you're riding across in. The boy points to the raft that was not chained up amongst the several square shaped, wooden rafts. There was a short mast in the center, but it obviously had no use. It seemed only four people can ride in it, barely. Clara let out another whimper. Boy: I don't mind helping you across. |

| "I'm going to scout ahead a bit, I can just follow their foot prints and it'll be easier to go by myself."
Ark looked down, found their foot prints and took off running. It wasn't long until he almost ran into them and only managed to stop about ten feet away. "Well... I hope they didn't notice me. Two of them don't look that good though, I guess this will be our chance here if the others get here quickly. I'll stall them on the lake if they haven't gotten here yet though." |

Arminas and Lily hop off the boat. Arminas: I guess... but damn. Hailey: Hey!! Arminas looks up. He spots Hailey still on the boat. She looks to the side, a bit embarassed. Hailey: Um.. could one of you help me down? Lily: I don't know.. maybe an obnoxious brat should stay where its safe, heh heh. Hailey: Oh come on! I helped you guys with the boat!  |

| Sky: And just as I was feeling back to normal. Ah well, at least I can get started going downhill from a good point.
The magewarrior stretched. They hadn't really had much of a chance for rest on this trip so far, and the odds that that was going to change didn't look so good. |

???: Yo-yoshi! A Yoshenyoshi suddenly leapt out of the water by the rocks, and landed infront of everyone. This yoshenyoshi was wearing a pair of goggles, a yellow hood, and a giant wrench on his back. ???: Yoshi! I am Cidoshi of the Yoshenyoshi. Pleased to meet you! Hailey: It's a talking baby yoshi! Boy: Oh my! Yes, what are you doing? Lucas quickly ran down. Lucas: I demand an explanation for this, Ark. ------------------ Arminas: ... Are you related to Quoshi and Pioshi? Cidoshi: Why yes, they're my older brothers. Do you know them? Hailey manages to escape Sigmund's grip and immediately glomps the yoshi. Hailey: He's so kyuuute!
Arminas: Kinda. Lily: What're you doing out here? Cidoshi: Well.. I was taking the Cid Sub Ship Mk. II for a test drive, but, well.... it sank. Lily: ... Cid Sub Ship Mk. II? Cidoshi: It's a vehicle I made that can run underwater! Lily: Whoa, really?
Cidoshi: It was going great, but then.. a goat attacked me and ruined everything. |

| Sky immediately changed from his relaxed demeanor to a very cold, serious one. Glaring at Ark, he drew his sword and pointed it at the warrior.
Sky: You've got a lot of nerve showing your face after what you did to us back on the cliff. You made it pretty clear you're not on our side. Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you here and now. |

Ark just kept walking. They'd have quite the surprise when those crystals tried to attack them. |

The boy ran over to the crystalized raft. He ran his hand over the new surface. The boy's creepy cheerful exp Boy: What a wonderful thing to do! Lucas: What are you talking about? Boy: His art had turned the boat into a Holy Raft without the aid of a Holy Bottle! Clara: Does.. Does that mean that we don't have to worry about the monsters in the water. Boy: Indeed. The boy looked at Ark, quirking a brow. Boy: Isn't that nice of him? Lucas: .. if you can ignore the sharpness of the crystals, perhaps. *looks at Ark* Ark, are you part of Gregorious' army? ---------------------- Arminas: A goat? Cidoshi: *nods* A goat. Arminas: A goat. Suddenly, an image of Ark flashed in Lily's head. She didn't understand why, but she shook it off. Lily: In the sea? Hailey: Attacked you? Cidoshi: Oh, why, he's right over there! All of a sudden, a giant worm, which looked like a blue version of the Long Long Demon, pierced through the water's surface right next to Sigmund. |

With a flash of light illuminating the magewarrior's hands, Sky got into a battle stance as the earth opened up to swallow Ark. Sky: I saw you fight, and I wasn't particularly impressed. You'll have to do a lot better than that if you're going to talk like you are. |

Cidoshi: It sounds like a goat. Lily: Oh yeah... Arminas immediately dove onto the rocks. He quickly pulled Sigmund up and away from the monster. |

| Ark moved so when the fissure opened he was standing on one side of it, looking back at Sky.
"This is exactly what I mean. All of your attacks require a small, tiny, bit of time to use. In that time, I can avoid the attack completely." Ark looked past Sky though and at Lucas. "No, in fact I have to pay him back for complicating things so much." Ark turned his attention back towards Sky. Even if the magewarrior tried to attack in that time, the light from his hands would've given Ark the time to avoid his attack. "If you really want to fight me..." Ark held his spear in front of him. "...I hope you can do it without your eyes." Ark was warning Sky, that if he tried to cast another spell, the light would be refracted right into Sky's eyes. Even a small amount of light could be damaging if it is focused well enough. |

Sky: The problem with you is that you assume the amount of time is always the same. There was no flash of light, and thus no time for Ark to react. For in fact, Sky's last ome usage had in fact been a dual one, the first to split the earth, and the second to contract it. Ark found himself quickly wedged between rocks as the fissure closed and rocks from the surrounding area, including from all sides of him, contracted. Sky: Didn't see that one coming, did you? Clara drew her sword and stood by Sky. She glared fiercely at Ark. Lucas: Damnit, Clara, Sky, Ark, all of you stop this. Clara: Stand down. If you interfere with our path, you are interfering with justice. Right now, a poor girl is suffering in the hands of the enemy. I will not hold back even if you threaten us-- He fell.. --------------------------- Lily: Oooh.. If Drenchy were here, we could've just bounded right around him. Arminas: Damnit.. we're gonna have to take it out... Lily, back me up. It doesn't seem to be able to move onto the ground, so we don't have to worry about it getting close. Lily: Right.
