| ((I can't really respond appropriately to that without knowing the situation Allison is in, is the problem, especially since I don't think anyone but Arminas could really communicate more than vague feelings with her through those...))

Arminas: You spoke to her before, didn't you? You've got to atleast have an idea of what she's like, then. Just.. Just think of something like.. 'Help me' over and over.. or.. 'Speak to me'.. or something. Ah, I don't know how to explain it.. ---------------------- ???: What is it? Allison: I was speaking with.. my brother... And now I'm starting to feel something really bad.. Like.. it's making me want to curl up in a ball.. Allison looked up and stared at the iron bars infront of her. She was inside a dome-shaped cell, which was inside of a very dank and hot room. There wasn't much light coming in except for the unusual reddish-orange glow coming from beyond the bars. There were two others with her, but Allison was unable to see them because there was a divider between them. All she knew was that there were two others like her that was locked up, but only the girl spoke. ???: Do you really believe your brother will come to save you? Allison: Of course. He did it once.. and I know he'll do it again.. I may have been a burden.. but.. I'll still try to cheer him on. ---------------------- Boy: Well, no, nothing is wrong with my boat. Please, keep your money, the money that was left for me will suffice for a VERY long time. But.. I'm a bit protective of my boat.. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to drive it. Lucas: Well, I don't see anything wrong with it. Clara: It's very impressive that someone your age has even acquired a boat. The boy looks down and scratches his head. Boy: Eh heh.. Well, you know, it's one of those ambition things.. |

Cassandra squeezed the jewel tightly, and made out something...that didn't make her feel any better. Wherever Allison was, she was alive, but she wasn't doing well. This was supposed to reassure Cassandra? She threw the eggshell at Arminas and backed away, sobbing as she had been before. Cassandra: What have you done with her?!? And if you really wanted to do anything but the worst to me, why can't you just let me GO?!? ****** Sky smiled at the boy. Sky: I've seen ambition take its form in many ways already on this trip...and I've got to say, this is by far the HEALTHIEST form I've seen it take so far. Just...try to keep the journey smooth, alright? |

Arminas: What the HELL? Arminas held tightly onto the shell, but eventually put it away. Arminas: Allison.. You picked a fine time to... Alright, whatever. I give up. Ark, you better do something about her. If you don't, then maybe you should leave. Lily: What?! No way! Arminas: And why not? Lily: Because we came to help you out! Arminas: I thought you just wanted Allison's brooch! Lily remained quiet. Arminas walked over to the nearby duct. Arminas: ... Can this take us to the port? Lily: Y-yeah..You just think of the place you want to go.. Arminas: Yeah.. I heard about it.. *sighs* Ark, I don't know if you understand how serious Sky, Lucas, Clara are, but they're not going to be any happier if they spot us. You'd better take responsibility for this. Lily: Maybe she'll warm up to us after some time.. Arminas: Yeah right. I know people like her. They're the ones who started this mess. Arminas walked onto the duct, and immediately disappeared. Lily: ... wha? |

| Ark snapped at Cassandra.
"Stop being a spoiled little brat! We've promised nothing will happen to you!" Ark touched his spear on his back. It calmed him down, he could kind of feel the light dancing around in it. "I'll even trust you with my life to show you." Ark hopped onto the wagon, cut the ropes binding Cassandra's hand and dropped the spear in front of her. He turned his back on her and held his hands out. "If you decide to attack me, the other three will let you go. If you don't I'll take that as you're going to trust us or at least me." |

| Lily's eyes widened up.
Lily: D-Drenchy! What're you doing?! She's gonna.. Lily held out her hands, immediately in spell casting mode. However, upon looking at Ark's eyes, she slowly moved her hands down. Lily: Ok.. Drenchy.. But if she does something to you, I don't know if I'll be able to keep myself from just smacking her once before we let her go. ------------------------ Arminas stepped off the other side of the duct. He looks around, and inhales the seabreeze that lurks around. Arminas: Allison.. I will save you. Just please hold on... Arminas spots Sky, Lucas, and Clara, and immediately dashes towards the high platform, which was the only hiding spot he can run to. Arminas watched the others walk towards a small wooden boat. There was a motor in the back, and the steering wheel was placed over the cabin. |

| Cassandra: You tried to kill us once before, you took me against my will, and now you won't let me go! And Allison doesn't seem to be doing very well, either! I'm just...not a violent person...but...
In a sudden movement, Cassandra had taken the spear and run to the duct through which Arminas had just disappeared. She threw the spear - sideways, so it wouldn't impale him if he didn't notice - at Ark to give her a bit of a distraction as she got on the platform. Her mind was focused on only one thing: getting help. She disappeared, but wasn't exactly sure where she would pop up next. Especially when she didn't appear to get there instantly. |

Lily fidgeted a bit. Lily: Atleast we don't have to put up with that.. C'mon, Drenchy, just forget about her. She's nothing but trouble. We need to get going before Army, like, gets too far without us. ------------------------------- Arminas jumped from the higher platform onto the lower one, and rolled behind an empty fish stand. Arminas: Tch.. That thing is too small for me to jump into.. and Clara went straight inside the cabin.. I just gotta find the right opening... |

| Sigmund: "Southern Light Port, boy... Just think "The Port", an' the duct'll take ya to the right place... Better yet, just say "To Arminas", an' yeh'll go right to 'im... Or as close as the duct can take ya."
Sigmund snapped out of his offline trance (thanking the gods the entire time that something had allowed him to do that trick earlier), and stepped onto the duct, disappearing after a few seconds of focused thought. Immediately upon appearing at the port, Sigmund spotted the boatgoers, and pulled out his cardboard box, sidling along on the dock with it. As long as he was wearing it, he thought, he'd be a lot less conspicuous, especially considering the high concentration of boxes that were already around. The fact that it was a box of oranges at a seaport helped matters quite a bit. He crept along the docks and eventually found his way to Arminas, after performing a few feats of agility that were quite unbecoming of an old man underneath a cardboard box. The story got more and more complex... |

Lily grabbed Ark's hand and basically pulled him through the duct. Meanwhile, Arminas nearly hit his head on the fish stand as he was caught off guard by Sigmund's presence. Arminas: I don't think I'll ever be acoustomed to you doing that, old man. |

| Lily tried to keep up with Ark.
Lily: We wasted so much time! Please don't let it be too late! ... Is that Army and Gramps over there? Why haven't they gotten on the boat? Arminas looked past Sigmund and noticed Ark and Lily running. He motioned for them to come by where he was. Lily: What are you doing?! We're supposed to be getting on board! Arminas: Look at it. Probably no longer than five meters. A boat that size isn't something you can sneak on. Lily: Gramps could do it. Arminas: But not the rest of us. We can't even hide inside it, since Clara's inside. Lily: It's not like you to be thinking, Army. Arminas: I want to make sure they don't find a way to stop us. Random Man on Dock: You can use my boat! Arminas finally hit his head on the fist stand. Arminas: How'd you find us here? Random Man on Dock: You're after the boat that's leaving, right? If you leave now, you can still catch them. The man points over at another boat that was parked nearby. |

| The boat Sky, Lucas, and Clara were on was already starting to shrink into the distance.
Arminas walked over to the boat, while Lily jumped onto the boat as well. Arminas: I'll drive. Arminas climbed onto the boat, and walked over to the steering wheel. Random Man on Dock: Do you understand the controls? Arminas: Yeah, I'm used to handling boats. Lily: Hah! I knew having an Alliance marine around would come in handy! Arminas: Er.. wait, how did you-- Lily: Oh come on, you may got some fuzzy stuff over them, but with my treasure hunting eyes, I can easily see you've got some Alliance marine issued gloves. Arminas started up the engine, not responding. Lily shrugged. Lily: Alright! Time to set sail! Whoowhooo! |

| After Sigmund got on, Arminas started to head the boat out.
Random Man on the Dock: The engine's a little worn out! Don't ride it too hard! The man slumped over a bit as he lost sight of the boat. Random Old Man on the Dock: Whuzza, sonny? Random Man on the Dock: Eh.. I lent my board out to some weird kid. The pay was good, so I just went along with it.. Random Old Man on the Dock: A kid, you say? ------------------------ Lily: Hey, Drenchy, what's wrong? You look so glum. |
