Random Villager30: I don't know.. I mean.. She looks like she isn't having a good time..

One of the villagers starts walking towards Cassandra.

Lily: Stop! You mustn't get in the way while we're performing!

Arminas felt a sweatdrop run down the back of his head.

Curtis: What's this I'm hearin'? How can there be any truth to this?

Lily: Hey! You saw us with that old man, right? Right? Right?

Curtis: That.. is true.

Random Villager34: They're playing us for fools!

"Speaking of the old man... I hope he caught on to this. I don't want to accidently skewer her..."

Ark walked over and picked Cassandra up and put her back in the wagon. He whispered just so she could hear him.

"You will be all right."

Ark took off his cloak and put it over Cassandra. He then jumped as high as he could into the air and threw down his spear as hard as he could. There was a flash of light while it was in mid-air and everyone was blinded, but everyone heard a distinct *thud*.

"And just like I said, she's gone!"

At least, that's what everyone else could see, Ark knew exactly what happened. Sigmund had been under the wagon and had removed part of the bottom, when all eyes were on Ark, Sigmund pulled Cassandra into a lower part of the wagon that wasn't visible. Sigmund had probably covered Cassandra's mouth so she couldn't say anything.

"Thank you for watching, and expect me back! You've been a great audience!"

He motioned to Arminas to get the wagon moving and Lily to hop on.

Cassandra was terrified. She hadn't been skewered by the spear, but as the wagon started moving she saw her hopes of escape slip away. He had said she would be all right, but then, he had already tried to kill her and the rest back on the cliff. Why hadn't she gone with Sky and Lucas and Clara, she wondered...she would have been safe then...as it was now, she was probably going to suffer whatever horrible fate had befallen Allison.

But she wasn't about to give up that easily. She knew Sigmund would probably keep a tight hold on her, but she didn't care. If they were going to kill her, she wasn't going out without a fight. She squirmed as much as she could, and managed to bite his hand, which moved aside just long enough to let out a small scream. She could only pray someone had heard it.

Lily: AAHHHH, thank you, audience! You've been great!

Arminas was in disbelief, with everything that just happened. He looked at Sigmund, who was taking care of a wounded hand while trying another effective way of keeping Cassandra quiet. Realizing the old man was there, he just tried to push away any doubting thoughts. After all.. It's Sigmund.

Lily hopped towards the wagon, and bowed a bit. She hopped onto the wagon and waved at the crowd, who was clapping and slowly disbersing.

Arminas started walking over to the wagon, when Curtis slowly walked up to him.

Curtis: Hold on just a minute. There's still the matter about yesterday.

Arminas: Ugh..

Lily: I don't know what happened, but you should forgive him!

Curtis: Such an offense cannot be so easily forgiven! Right, Isabella?

Isabella: Yes, Curtis.

"Come on, it's not stylish to fight you know? I mean, the blood, the sweat, you can never look good after a fight whether you win or lose, and even if you win, you completely lose your style, you know what I mean?"

Although Ark couldn't talk like Sigmund, he had the power of improvision, which was working very nicely today.

Lily: Yeah! And come on, have a heart. Think about Army's situation.

Lily holds out her hand, and speaks dramatically.

Lily: He needs to go and save his beloved sister.

Arminas: They don't care about something like that.

Curtis: .. You.. You're doing this for love?!

The chorus girls finally walked away.

Curtis: Tell us your story, brother!

Arminas: You do care?!

Insert flash back sequences here.

Curtis: I see. We understand completely. We'll do whatever we can to help! Won't we, Isabella?

Isabella: Yes, Curtis.

Curtis: You just say the word, brother!

Arminas looks off to the side. He starts wondering why he's being called 'brother'.

Curtis spins around and holds his arms out, while Isabella kneels down and holds her arms out.

Curtis: If you say, "sing,", we shall sing as we have never sung before!

Arminas: Uh, thanks, but I'll pass.

Lily: So now we're looking for Teach. Oh.. uh.. Will. Did he come this way?

Curtis: Did he come this way, Isabella?

Isabella: I saw him with Miss Claveer and a newcomer. They were headed for the nearby port. I believe their destination is Angel Lake.

Lily: Alright, Army! Now we've got a destination!

"Then let's get out of there, I doubt Cassandra wants to be stuck under the wagon for to much longer... I wonder if there is even enough room to breath... Heh..."

Ark grabbed his spear and cloak. He looked into the sky, laughing on the inside. Maybe he should've just been a magician instead of a warrior, or whatever he was. It was loads more fun.

Lily: Wh-wha?

Arminas: Don't worry. I can't imagine someone being unable to breathe in a wooden wagon.

Lily let out a little sigh as Arminas started moving the wagon.

As soon as they were out of range of anyone's ears..

Arminas: Let's cut her loose and just leave.

Lily: Whoa, where did this come from?

Arminas: She's going to be a real thorn in our side if we take her.

-----------------------

The port wasn't very busy today. There were very few people walking on the two wooden platforms that make up the docks. The lower platform was made for the loading area for small boats, while the higher one was made for the huge cruise ships that come in every so often.

Lucas: Oh, right, I better turn on the duct.

Lucas kneeled down besides the duct, and pressed a few buttons. It started to hum.

Clara: Well, what do we do now?

Lucas: I suppose we should go by the lower platform. He wanted us to wait here, but if our destination is going to be Angel Lake, it might be safe to assume that we'll be taking one of the small boats.

((You did say we could control them, so long as we didn't do anything drastic, right?))

Sky: How small...are the small boats? I have to admit, I'm not exactly a fan of sea travel, particularly on craft which might be unwieldy in the case of a storm.

Clara smiled.

Clara: Oh, does someone get a bit seasick?

Sky: Erm, let's just say I've had some bad experiences and leave it at that.

"We can untie her, but I'm not letting her leave. You remember what happened in the house."

Ark reached into the hole in the wagon where Cassandra was and pulled her out, he didn't bother to try and keep her quiet, he just cut the rope on her legs.

"I'm going to keep her hands tied for a little while, I don't want her to stab me again."

Ark rubbed his stomach a little, if Lily hadn't been around, he'd be scarred all over right now.

Arminas: Who cares? Let those people find out first hand.

Lily: Yeah, but what if she gets the villagers riled up and actually go after us?

Arminas: What makes you think so?

Lily: You remember what she did.. She stabbed poor Drenchy after such a motivational speech, and gave you a good clocking. If she did that, who knows how far she'll go to get to us again.

------------------

Lucas: Looks like a slow day...

Clara: ... Are we supposed to be here? Are you sure he didn't write it in riddle form?

Lucas: ... I'm beginning to wonder that myself.

Sky: Riddle? Seemed pretty clear to me. Not much room in that simple note for wordplay and the like. But then, you know him better than I do.

Cassandra wasn't about to take any chances. She knew there was no discussion with them. She only hoped it would work. Wasting no time, she kicked out at Ark, knocking him off balance, before leaping off the wagon and running back towards the town. She couldn't believe the 'heroes' of the town had been taken in so easily, but they would have to help her this time.

Cassie knew the others could run fast, and could probably catch her, but she didn't care. The adrenaline coursed through her veins as she ran faster than she ever had...maybe...just maybe...she could make it.

Ark didn't waste time, he jumped from the wagon and landed in front of Cassandra.

"Why do you even bother? You've seen me fight before, do you really think you can out run me?"

Ark grabbed Cassandra and threw her over his shoulder.

"If you'd just behave, you'll be fine. After you stabbed me, I figure you would at least regret it. I've done nothing but help and here you are, attacking me twice."

Arminas: Quite honestly, I don't care about the village. Let them think whatever. If we take her with us, she'll be nothing but trouble. And I know we can't quietly follow the others with her around.

------------------------

A boy, who seemed to be around the age of thirteen, took notice of Sky, Lucas, and Clara. His black hair was pulled back into a pony tail, and was wearing a very comfortable set of a windbreaker jacket and pants.

Lucas quirked a brow the moment he noticed blazing red eyes on the pale kid.

Boy: Um... Excuse me..

"Yeah, but you're a jerk, and I'm not. So as long as I'm around, we're dragging her along."

Ark sighed as he stepped back onto the wagon and sat Cassandra down.

"See, this is what you did to me earlier."

Ark lifted his shirt to show a closed wound that looked like it was scarring up badly.

"If it hadn't been made with my spear and Lily's healing magic hadn't closed it, it would be a permenant mark."

Cassandra: I have no idea what you're talking about! Just let me go! What do you even want with me?!? And what did you really do to Allison?!?

Cassandra wasn't even sure herself if she was angry or terrified. The two emotions flooded together as she broke into tears and backed away from Ark.

Arminas: You're kidding, right?

Lily: Whoa, we've got a schitzo here.

Arminas felt a big ball of anger swelling up in his gut.

Arminas: When I first found her, she was freaking out over some monsters around over there.

Arminas pointed at the burnt patches of ground.

Arminas: She had no idea why she was there, but Lucas brought her along anyway. She seemed alright with it then. The second time I see her, she attacked us, and now she's saying she's got no idea what we're talking about.

Lily: ... yeah, total schitzo.

---------------

Boy: I work on the docks. I have a letter for you..

Lucas: "Go to the lake that lies beyond Raging Bay." Yep, Angel Lake.

Boy: I was performing some maintenance on a boat when I sudddenly noticed a letter and some money sitting beside me. There were also instructions written on it to hand the letter to a trio walking nearby.

Sky: Gee, sounds like he really does know everything, including when we'd come by here. Seems like we already knew to go to Angel Lake, though, so that's not much of a riddle.

Boy: Oh, the note also says that he decided to make it easy on you since he doesn't think much of your problem-solving skills

Sky: Bastard.

************

At this point, Cassandra was sobbing uncontrollably, yelling through the tears.

Cassandra: Stop it...just stop it! Just let me go! I never did anything to you!

"Yeah you did! I had a hole in my gut just a little while ago, you should be glad I didn't kill you then and there!"

Ark was getting more than a little angry.

"Look. You don't have a choice, if you go crazy again in town and kill people it would have been my fault for not stopping it when I had the chance. Deal with your current situation."

Lily: Ooog.. I'd really prefer to be looking for treasure right now..

Arminas: Is this the right time to bring it up?

Lily: Well, maybe. We've been standing infront of the duct all this time.

Arminas: Treasure.. I think I know how to handle this.

Arminas dug into his pockets. He then pulled out half of an egg shell.

Lily: Wow, how did you manage to keep that without breaking it?

Arminas: It's like a jewel, dummy.

Lily: How would I know? I don't have one

Arminas: But Allison does. Do you all remember what the Yoshenyoshi said? You can hear each others feelings or something like that.

Lily: *scratches head* So.. how's that gonna help?

Arminas: I was able to contact Allison with it.. Well.. sort of. It's more like.. speaking with feelings. Like.. you keep thinking about saying something.. and you'll eventually get that feeling.

Lily: But I don't see how that's gonna help, though..

Arminas: Just give me a moment, ok?

Arminas closed his eyes, and the hand that was holding the shell. There was a bit of light shining through his fingers.

Arminas: ... What the.. You're in a bad situation and you're still scolding me?

Lily: Haha! Looks like you can't hide your anger.

Arminas: Can it, Lily. *clears throat* Alright.. Allison.. Please understand.. Cassandra's distressed. She thinks we did something to you, and is thinking we're trying to do something wrong.

The light was shining for a bit.

Arminas: Well.. we.. might have caused some trouble, but she started it!

Lily looks at Ark for a moment.

Lily: He says you can only 'feel' feelings.. but.. um.. it seems like he's having a full on conversation here.

Arminas: *sighs* I'm sorry.. We were just put in a bad situation.. Just.. please, try to show her that we're not the bad guys here.

Arminas walks over to Cassandra. Cassandra seems to resist, but Arminas still shoves the jewel-like item into Cassandra's hands.

Arminas: You may not really understand it well, since.. uh.. well, she's my sister. But I'm sure you'll get the point.

Arminas steps away, and looks off to the side.

Arminas: Damnit, that thing hurts like hell when you squeeze on it... I'm still amazed it didn't break when I fell..

--------------------

Boy: Are you not the right trio?

Lucas: We are. This letter is for us.

Boy: Ah, great! Well then, good day.

Lucas: Hold on.. You said you were performing maintenance on a small boat.. Is it yours?

Boy: Well, yes.. but...
