Lucas: Why do you say that? Clara: Well, many of them can be a bit rowdy, but they seem to have a strong grasp of moral standards. Lucas: Yes, they do. |

Arminas: Something feels wrong.. Lily and Arminas step inside the house. Arminas noticed Cassandra was missing. He shrugged a bit until he heard some cloth movements around where the sofas were. Arminas walked in a bit more and noticed Cassandra on the floor. Arminas: Cassandra? Lily: Cassie? Cassie! Army, what did you do? Arminas: I did nothing! You saw me, I stepped out after the other guys! Lily ran over to Cassandra, and started shaking her shoulder. Lily: Cassie! What's wrong? Cassie! ------------------------ Lucas clears his throat. Lucas: I assure you, that isn't the case here. I can't speak for any newcomers, but the villagers that have been living here from the start are fine people. Random Villager 34: *pant pant* Lucas: Is something wrong? Random Villager 34: No.. nothing serious.. I just came from the port.. Lucas: You look exhausted, why didn't you come through the duct? Random Villager 34: That's the thing.. The duct wasn't turned on near the port. Lucas: ... Did you try turning it on? Random Villager 34: .... oh.. right.. Ah well, a little exercise doesn't hurt anyone. The villager walked past Sky, dragging his feet. Lucas: *sighs* The duct over at the port has a tendency of just shutting off, so looks like we're going to have to walk there. It's not far, but it's still a walk. |

| Ark just looked at Cassandra, he could feel the darkness she felt. It was like death. Ark's spear started to glow on his back and he held it in his hand.
"It helped me... maybe it'll help her." Ark grabbed one of Cassandra's hands and opened it, he put the spear in it and closed her hand. "Wake up." Ark knew Lily and Arminas couldn't hear him right now, but he thought Cassandra could. "Wake up. Don't listen. Just wake up." |

| Ark would quickly regret giving Cassandra the spear, as he soon found it shoved deep into his gut. The girl got to her feet and kicked the warrior over before turning to Arminas and Lily. She said nothing, and her eyes seemed vacant, but she wore an exp ************ Sky: Eh, I'm up for a little stroll. Walking around is a lot more pleasant when you don't have someone to save or something trying to kill you. Those things tend to make up a large portion of my life. |

| Lily: Cassie! Why did you do that?!
Lily's hands started to glow as she immediately got onto casting her healing spell on Ark. Meanwhile, Arminas stood infront of Lily and Ark, and held up his own set of glowing fists. Arminas: Hey, lady. We don't have any time for you. I heard there's a jail cell in Lucas' basement. I'm no sheriff, but I'll drag you in there if you're going to cause us trouble. ----------------------------- Lucas: Well, that's certainly a nice thought. For your sake, then, I hope we don't run into any monsters along the way |

| Without so much as a sound, Cassandra had flung a fire-filled fist at Arminas before he could react, knocking him into the wall. And then she fell to the floor, motionless once more.
****** Sky: That's one thing I've noticed in my trips so far...monsters tend to stay out of towns, even inadequately defended ones. Do you know any particular reason for that? |

| Arminas: Gah.. bloody.. I definitely wasn't prepared for that...
Arminas slowly walked towards Cassandra. His hands were still glowing. Lily: Ok.. this is gonna hurt for just a little moment, Drenchy.. Sorry... Lily helped Ark with removing the spear from his body, and quickly went on with one more healing. Lily: What do we do now? Arminas: I'd say we throw her in a prison cell. Lily: That's kinda mean, isn't it? I mean.. we all kinda ditched her and the others.. Arminas: Look at what she did to me! And to him! Lily: ... You're right! Let's haul her off. ------------------------------- Lucas's glasses shimmered for a moment. Lucas: Monsters tend to stay within their own territorial bounds. That doesn't mean they won't occasionally try to make their way to any nearby towns. It could be for any reason, really. Food, sickness, looking for a new home. If monsters weren't so violent to begin with, we wouldn't have much need for fighting with them. |

Ark stood up, even without Lily's healing spells, he wouldn't have been seriously injured. The spear had already claimed enough of his blood. "We have to watch over her..." Ark walked over to the table and found two pieces of rope. He rolled Cassandra onto her stomach with his foot and tied her hands and legs together. He then picked her up and headed for the door. "...if we don't, she might break out of a cell and do much more damage." |

Arminas ran his hand through the bit of hair that stuck out of his bandana as he started walking through the door. Lily: Hey, Drenchy... can't we just put her in that wagon out there? I'm sure Teach won't mind us borrowing it. |

Arminas: Nothing wrong with that. She did do a number on us, after all. Arminas remembered about the fountain plaza. He nodded and started walking. ------------------------------- Clara: Is this one of those good days on the island? Lucas: Hm? Oh, yes, I suppose, if you mean not running into any monsters.. But this path to the port rarely has any monsters traversing it anyway. |

| Cassandra woke up, as if from a long nap, and found herself in a rather uncomfortable position. Her head hit the back of the wagon as it rolled over the uneven road. She tried to pick herself up only to realize that her hands and feet were bound. It could only mean one thing: she was the third person in the group to have been kidnapped that day.
Cassandra: Just...great. But it seemed like her kidnappers hadn't been very clever, as she had woken up, from what she could tell, still in town, in broad daylight. She hated to use such a cliché method of getting help, but it made sense, as they hadn't even thought to gag her. Cassandra: HELP ME! THESE PEOPLE ARE KIDNAPPING ME! And with that, she let out a scream at about the loudest level most normal people could produce. Hopefully some of the townspeople would hop to action and stop these bumbling kidnappers. But she wondered how they had gotten her in the first place, since she didn't remember that at all... (edited by Skydude on 03-11-06 12:53 PM) |

There was a crowd of people starting to form around them. Random Villager20: Hey, look, it's that guy from the other day. Random Villager56: He's causing trouble again! Random Villager29: Now he's kidnapping! The nerve! Arminas: Hey! It's not what you think, people. She attacked us, and figured she was too dangerous to be kept in this city. Random Villager20: Liar! |

| Cassandra recognized the voices. She thought there was something odd about Arminas before, but now she knew her suspicions were correct. He had probably done away with Allison himself for his own purposes, and now she was next. This wasn't just a simple kidnapping, either, but something far more dire. Sky would take care of him, she knew, but maybe not before something happened to her.
Struggling against her bonds, Cassandra squirmed her way out of the wagon, knowing it would hurt when she hit the earth. Still, it would show the townspeople just how serious the situation was, and maybe one of them would cut her bonds and allow her to escape before that villain Arminas and his apparant accomplice Lily were able to intervene. Her voice was panicked as she sought help from the villagers. Cassandra: Oomph! Ow...someone, please, help me! They tied me up and now they're going to do something awful! |

| Lily: Uh.. Army.. don't tell me you're gonna fight them all off... We really.. really need to catch up to Teach and Sammy before they leave.
Arminas: I'm not gonna waste my time fighting here. Ark, let's just leave the girl here. It'll be their problem when she goes psycho again. Curtis: Huh? Aha! We meet again! The crowd of people quickly clear out, leaving only Curtis, Isabella, and the chorus girls. All of a sudden, some upbeat, bigband music began playing in the background. Curtis: The boy is here, we found him at last! Let's get ready to kick his-- Isabella: We waited for this moment for so long, so let's get ready! Curtis: Get ready! Isabella: Get ready! Chorus: Get ready! Curtis, Isabella, & Chorus: Let's get ready! Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! Isabella and Curtis both assuming fighting positions and stare Arminas down. Lily: .. um.. Army.. Did something happen between you and these people? I don't think they even realized what the villagers think is going on.. Arminas: It's a long story.. Well, maybe not, but I still don't want to talk about it. |

| "Wait, stop everyone!"
Ark began to think as fast as he could. "We aren't kidnappers, I'm a magician and these are my assistants!" Ark knew exactly how he could do it. "Remember my trick yesterday of appearing in a fountain? That was me checking to see how you guys would like a magic show, and I've planned my biggest trick!" Ark laughed on the inside. "We took a normal girl, who has never met us before, tied her up, and we're going to make her disappear! Don't worry though, she'll be completely unharmed and will be back in her house after the trick is over!" Ark bowed once. "If you need proof of my magician-ness, who else would be traveling with a strong muscle man and a cute assistant? No normal person could ever get those two together, ever!" Ark paused to let it sink in. "Sometimes... I call it my real greatest trick." Ark was relieved when he heard a few people laugh at the joke. "Now, if you will quiet down and let me preform my trick, you can all go home wondering 'How did he do that?'." Ark really hoped this would work. |

| Cassandra: Don't believe him! The others pretended to be friends, but he already tried to kill me and other members of the group we were travelling with!
Cassie was crawling as quickly as she could...which wasn't very...away from the cart, beseeching the crowd to help. Cassandra: Just someone cut these ropes and help me! |
