Farid: Hey, I knew what I was doin'. I just didn' plan on there bein' a gap like that. If yeh want to blame someone, blame that guy over there. If he wasn' so uptight, he wouldn' have set off the balance, now would he?

Hikari: Oh, shut up and RUN.

There was a faint source of natural light up ahead. Hikari was very glad to see.

Hikari: Oh, it'd be perfect of Glenn had the horses out there waiting for us..

Nova: Wouldn't that be just a bit TOO convenient?

Sabor ran along with the group, hanging back rather than jetting forward as he could, even in these narrow settings.

Nova: I sure hope you're right, though...my own mount probably can't hold all of us.

Nijote: "If not the walk won't be that bad."

Nijote saw the light, just a few seconds away.

Everyone finally exited the mines, with Hikari and Mitra bringing up the rear. The entrance for the mine just happened to be up a hill that would've led around the rock wall everyone had climbed earlier.

Hikari: ... I had such high hopes that he was here

Nova: Sorry, hun, I guess real life just doesn't work out like the movies.

Just a few seconds after they were all out, there was a loud rumbling, as half the mountain collapsed within itself, shaken loose by the explosion.

Nova: ...but then, I suppose sometimes it is.

Nijote: "That uhh... wasn't mine..."

Nijote recalled telling everyone that her explosive didn't go off.

Nijote: "and the only person in there was that drunk... I don't see why he'd let the mountain collapse on him..."

Hikari: ... Glenn, you've got the worst sense in timing, ever. I swear, we're gonna have to work on him miraculously using cues....

Hikari pulls Mitra out of the way of the mine entrance. A wave of debris, dust, and tools were sent flying out, as well as a few unconcious dondongos.

Hikari: Well.. atleast the mountain just collapsed in itself...

Nova: So, um, anyone up for some Dodongo stew tonight? I hear it's pretty good.

The group gives the rogue a very odd look.

Nova: Granted, it wasn't so much a reliable source as a crazy man, but still, it might be worth trying.

Nijote: "I'd rather just start walking to town. Since the mountain collapsed, it is possible it may explode."

Nijote started walking off into the desert. She took out a little compass and cussed.

Nijote: "Shit, we have to go around the mountain to make it back. Looks like we're camping here after all..."

Hikari: Well.. you guys can camp here. The last thing we need is having Kakariko Gulch throwing a fit because Mitra wasn't dancin' the next day. C'mon, Johnny.

Mitra: Well.. Ah do feel a bit tired...

Hikari: I'll piggyback ya, c'mon.

Farid quickly took a few steps infront of everyone and bowed.

Farid: This is where I'll be takin' m' leave. Pleasure meetin' all of yeh, charmed and such. Love to stay and chat, but I'm a busy man.

Nova: There's no way you'll make it back by nightfall on foot, and it gets pretty cold out here. The way I see it, you can camp here, or I can take two of you back.

Sabor walks up to the rogue, who scratches his ears.

Nova: I think he can take about 3 of us comfortably, and he's been so good today I don't really want to burden him with more. Problem is, that leaves at least two of you in the desert all night.

Hikari: Thanks for your offer, but we've still got the ranch horses down there, and I'm positive Glenn is atleast down there with the horses.

Farid: Don't have ta worry about meh. I was actually about ta head on home right now.

Farid reached into his vest again, and pulled out a seed with a bit of a funnel shape to it. He tossed it into the ground, which created a swirling vortex of colored wind around his feet. He was then wisked away into the air.

Hikari: ....

Mitra: Oh my! What a lovely Gale Seed

Nova: Well, I could at least give you a ride as far as there, you know.

A wisp of flame bellowed forth from the remains of the mountain. It would appear Volvagia might still be alive under there. For how long, though, the rogue could only guess.

Out of the wisp of flame came out a shiney red jewel. It didn't have any special design, except for a strange little insignia etched into the jewel that couldn't be determined.

Hikari: What in the..

Mitra: Oh my.. What do ya'll think that is?

Hikari walked over to the jewel, which was laying on the ground between everyone. Hikari bent down to pick it up, but immediately released it.

Hikari: Aah! It's pipin' hot!

Suddenly, someone yelling could be heard in the distance, along the path that the group had taken to get to the mountain. It wasn't clear exactly what was said, but the voice was recognizable as Glenn's.

Hikari: See? That must Glenn with the horses.

Hikari glanced at the jewel, but eventually walked away from it. She walked over to the edge, and looked down. She let out a sigh as she realized why Glenn was yelling out.

Nova cocked an eyebrow in Hikari's direction.

Nova: Honestly, were you surprised something that came out of a stream of fire was hot? So what's going on over there anyway?

Not wanting to completely have to rely on relayed information, Nova jumped onto Sabor and began walking in Hikari's direction.

What Hikari saw was Glenn, burried waist-deep in dried and hardened dirt that had earlier been mud thanks to Johnathan's rain-making. Unsurprisingly, Glenn was less than pleased with his situation, and was making it known with terminology that, if he had known Hikari was in earshot, he'd be happy too now she was too far away to make out.

Hikari: That dang fool...

Mitra: Oh, this jewel mah-ty pretty..

Mitra bent down to pick up the jewel, which was cooled down by now.

Hikari: If he's stuck.. then that means...

Hikari spotted one horse, which was also encrusted within the dried up mud.

Hikari: .. Well, I suppose I shouldn't expect much. But.. I don't see the other horses.. If ya can hear me, Glenn, we're comin' to get ya!

Nova: Yee-haw!

With that, Hikari stepped back just as Sabor whizzed by, and lept right off the cliff, landing surprisingly softly on the ground below, making a decent-sized dent in the dried mud.

Nova: *yelling up* This stuff shouldn't be too hard to get off...it's kinda brittle!
