| Nova: In all fairness, I think the dragon's probably been slowed down quite a bit.
Just then, a jet of flame came down the tunnel they had come from. Nova: Or not. I say we take this train of mine carts down the path this guy's pointing down. I'll ride up front with him and make sure it's all good. |

Nijote hopped into the back and turned around so she'd be facing the dragon when it tried to chase. Nijote: "I'll take care of the dragon, it'll be easier for me, since I won't have to focus." Nijote grabbed several vials from her pockets and got ready. |

| Hikari helped Mitra into one of the carts, while Hikari hopped into the center cart. She took out her bow.
Hikari: We're all in... Farid: Ready? Then here we go! Farid placed the miner's cap back onto his head, and turned on the light. He pulled a level that was inside the cart, causing the train of mine carts to start moving. Hikari: .... I was expecting this thing to take off. Farid: Yeh never been on a train before, have yeh? |

Nijote threw a vial out behind them. It clinked a few times, but nothing happened. Nijote: "Three minutes till the explodes. If it explodes, it'll hopefully take part of this mountain with it. Maybe the whole mountain side." |

Mitra: Wh-wha?! You'll be hurtin' all the poor, innocent creatures livin' on the mountain! 
Hikari pulled out an arrow and aimed it at the vial. However, she didn't release tha arrow. She realized what could've happened if she shot the vial. Hikari: Damnit. Do you even know what you're doin'? All that lava we saw out there, do you think an explosion's gonna help us?! Farid: Looks like we've got to move.. so.. Farid reached into his vest, and pulled out some curiously shaped seeds. Farid: Pegasus Seeds might do the trick.. He tossed the seeds inside of the minecart, and at the wheels on the outside. There was some loud squeeking upon the impact of the seeds, but it seemed to have done the trick. The mine carts started to speed up very quickly. |

| Nova: Cold as ice...it's not like the dragon would be able to get to us, anyway. That tunnel was too small for it to fit down. All we really needed to do was get out of that alcove so the flames wouldn't reach us.
Nova settled in for the ride, keeping a watchful eye on their 'guide'...where'd he get those pegasus seeds? Meanwhile, Sabor, sitting in the rear car with Nijote, as the front and middle carts were full, sidled up next to her. Nova: Well isn't that cute...I think he likes you. |

| Hikari: ... Ready or not, here he comes!
The dragon, with its wings furled, was crawling through the corridors. It slowed down more and more as it felt the path becoming tighter on its body. Farid: Right right.. Need ta worry 'bout the fire. 'M sure a lil' more will do. Farid pulled out a few more seeds, and tossed it into the mine cart. Hikari fell into the next cart due to the sudden shift into highspeed. Hikari: Hey! You done near killed me! Farid: Atleast we don't have teh worry about flames catchin' up! Hikari: But we've gotta worry about derailin' and anythin' in the way! |

| Nova: Huh. Seems I was wrong about the Dragon coming through. So Farid, do you have any idea where this track leads, or was this just a blind hunch so you have no idea if this is suddenly going to end and we're all going to die or--DUCK!
As if on cue, everyone in the train ducked their heads into the minecarts as the train passed beneath a low-hanging ledge. |

| There was a loud cracking sound, like the sound of someone not ducking in time. Hikari slightly pokes her head out and looks around.
Hikari: Is everyone here accounted for? Hikari noticed everyone was still in the cart. She then shrugged off what could've been the source of the sound. Meanwhile, the dragon was dealing with a concussion. |

The carts continued to speed along, nearly coming off the rails at the speed they were going. |

| Nova: That would have been nice to have been useful. Especially now.
The group looked ahead to see a rather large chasm in the cave, over which there were no rails. The train of carts cleared the gap, barely, but didn't land very nicely on the other side. The dust cleared, and Nova got up from where he had landed. Sabor seemed to have jumped out just after clearing the gap, and was fine, and the rogue hoped others hadn't been too hurt. He went to the back mine carts and moved them aside to help anyone who was underneath. |

Not exactly waiting for the answer, the rogue had beckoned Sabor and started to head down one of the tunnels jutting out from the landing place. |

| Hikari grabbed Mitra's arm and pulled the dancer to her feet. She then started running, while still holding onto Mitra.
Hikari: Nova, I reckon, with the way she made it sound, we're gonna have to clear the mountain itself if we wanna make it out alive. And probably further than that if the volcano decides the explosion was upsetting its gut. Mitra: Oh my.. Maybe I should've worn my runnin' heels today... Hikari: I don't think you should be worrying about that, Miss Mitra.. 
Farid: Must be wonderful ta not have ta worry about life's problems! Hikari: Hey! Don't encourage her |

| Nova: Well that's just wonderful, then. I don't know whether running through these tunnels will do any good...but we'd best not wait and see!
Nova wondered at this point whether Nijote had all the gears in her head working. When you're inside a mountain, you don't generally want to send it to collapse. |

Nijote kept running, limping very fast, and then all of a sudden she stopped. Nijote: "We... should've heard it by now... It didn't explode, it was stopped somehow... or contained..." As if on cue, lights on the ceiling came on and shorted out. Electricty still gave the lights a faint glow. Nijote: "That drunk...?" Nijote didn't want to wait for him, he was truely crazy. She started to take off as fast as she could. |
