| Despite the fact that it was in pain, it still tried to move closer to everyone.
Arminas: If we don't take this thing out now, it'll never stop chasing us! Arminas lunged at the already skewered beast, and tried to deliver a strong haymaker punch into its body. The worm reared back for a moment. However, Arminas didn't stay long as he quickly hopped backwards, barely avoiding poison gas spray. Clara: It can't chew us, but it's still got that poison breath! |

| Clara: Tiger Blade!
Clara lunged at the monster, leaping into the air and cleaving into the beast with an upward and downward slash. She was batted away by the worm's flailing. Arminas soon followed up by delivering a quick jump kick. Lily: Right.. break off the cliff... I'm on it! Lily's hands started to glow until Lucas held out his hand. Lucas: No, that won't be necessary. A bleating shriek echoed throughout the mountain range. The Long Long Demon, with the combined efforts of Ark, Arminas, and the others, no longer had the strength to fight, and toppled over onto the ground. Lucas: Is it dead? The beast laid on the ground, motionless. Lucas slowly walked up to the toothless wonder and kneeled beside it. Lucas: Amazing.. |

| Lily: Ooooh! I bet it would!
Lily ran up to the beast, and inspected it. Sure enough, there were Shines and and what seemed like a good chunk of an ome laying besides it. Lily: Eee! With this, I'm one step closer to learning Ground Dasher! Allison: Arminas! Allison ran over to Arminas. Allison: Your arm is bleeding.. 
Arminas: Pfft. Just a scratch. Arminas spun around and threw a fist into the air, trying to show that he was alright. Allison's face turned a bit more cheerful. Quoshi: My eyes did not deceive me! You are a true warrior, just as I thought! Let us dance the dance of victory! Quoshi and Pioshi stood by each other, and began to sway from side to side, hopping every so often. Quoshi & Pioshi: Yooshi! Yoshyoshi! Yoshi! Yoshyoyoooooshi! Arminas: eh heh.. Allison: Oh, my... so cute.. |

| Ark sat up when Allison worried about Arminas' arm. He stood up after they were done and practically yanked Arminas' arm out of its socket.

| Sky placed his hand on the wound, and it glowed for a moment.
Sky: There was just a bit of poison there, but it ought to be fine now. I was never much for healing, but detoxifying came pretty easily to me. Can we go home now? Cassandra, meanwhile, was having a blast, swaying side to side along with the Yoshis. Cassandra: Allison, are these the cutest things you've ever seen or what? |

Arminas: I guess they're pretty good... Arminas couldn't help but smile. Quoshi & Pioshi: Yoyoshi! Lily: We worked hard, too.. And I think they're dancing for Army... Why does Army get all the credit? ... Don't you think so, Sammy? 
Clara: Ah.. What difference does it make?

| Lily: Not yet.. Too much attention is on them.. I think the Yoshenyoshi will leave soon, so let's wait afterwards..
The Yoshenyoshi started handing out halves of spotted eggshells. They only had one set, and with Arminas and Allison being the closest ones to the two, Quoshi and Pioshi handed the siblings. The shells shimmered beautifully. Pioshi: These shells are a token of our gratitude for defeating the Long Long Demon. Why, if we did not meet with all of you, we might not have made it. Allison: They're beautiful.. Pioshi: These shells have a special significance when held by those close to each other. Quoshi: They're used as a symbol of engagement among the Yoshenyoshi. Allison's face grew bright red. Quoshi: As long as two people carry those shells, they will always know what each other is feeling. Arminas: You sure you wanna be giving this to us? Pioshi: They're but a small token of our appreciation! Lily came running up to the Yoshenyoshi. Lily: I want one! I want one too! Pioshi: I'm sorry, we only had one set. Lily: Awww... |

Arminas's eyes move around a bit. Arminas: Where does this path over here lead? Pioshi: If you follow it for a while, you'll eventually get back close to your city. Lucas: Let's rest a bit, and then we can set out. Arminas: You still plan to follow us? We were only supposed to be together until-- Lucas: Given the current circumstances, can you honestly consider Allison resduced? You don't even know where we are. Arminas growled and looked off to the side. Clara: That flying man might come back, you know. We can't relax until we make it back to the city. Lucas: I'm also concerned about the soldiers in red who attacked the bandits' lair. I hope that didn't have anything to do with Allison. Lily's own eyes were wandering. She couldn't find where Sigmund was, but she took notice of Sky and Cassandra. "Not yet", she thought. |

| Sky: Originally, Allison had been held by the bandits. So we went there to rescue her. While we were rescuing her, a horde of warriors came by...crap, they may still be following us.
Cassandra: May? Are. Cassandra's face was ashen. Standing atop a nearby hill were the advance scouts for the army they had seen before. Sky: May I suggest a hasty retreat? |

Pioshi: You can perhaps retreat into our village? Lucas: No, that might not be the best of ideas. We do not want to bring something like this into your village. Quoshi: Thank you everyone for all your help. Lucas: No, no. We should be thanking you for getting us back to the surface. Pioshi: We hope to see you again soon. We'd love it if you'd come to the Yoshenyoshi village sometime! Quoshi: Farewell, friends! The two yoshis started walking into the tunnel. Lily: Bye-bye! Next time we meet, bring me a present, too! Yoshi! Lucas: Now for the matter at hand.. Clara: ... The weather's getting bad... Lucas: We might be able to use this to our advantage.. But why is that army after us? Lily: Well, maybe if you guys would've left some notes about what happened in the bandits' lair in the journal, us new guys could've thought of something. Speaking of journal, I think it's Ally's turn to write something...... Ally? Where did she go? And where's Army for that matter? Lucas looked around, and couldn't any evidence of Arminas and Allison even being there. Lucas: ... I can't believe he did that. |

| Sky: Little bastard seems to have buggered off somewhere. Ah well, we don't need his help. Clara, Ark, Lucas, Lily! There are only a few of them! We take them out, and the enemy won't know where we are. First let's get them over here.
The magewarrior's hands glowed brightly for a second, and the hill the scouts were standing on seemed to collapse. The soldiers came tumbling down, but quickly got to their feet. These were no ordinary grunts. These scouts were of the elite forces, and wouldn't be taken care of so easily. |

Ark leaped from the hill he was on to about halfway to the next one. To bad that the guy that had just rolled down the hill choose a bad place to stop in awe of the shining projectile coming his way. The spear went straight through him, leaving Ark running to retrieve it. |

| Lily: Icicle Lance!
Lily waved her hands as she ran behind Sky. She thrusted a glowing hand into the air, and pointed at one of the soldiers. The air above the soldiers started to get a bit cold. Wind started to sweep around as all of the cold air became condensed into a thin, sharpened pillar of ice. The icey spear then flew down onto one of the soldiers, giving him a good skewering, if such a thing existed. Meanwhile, Lucas was infuriated. He had suddenly realized who the army was, and why there were on the island. This mixed in with the events he's currently witness just added more anger onto him. Lucas: Damnit. We still had a chance to escape until now. |
