| That actually reminds me of a story we did in the Story Forum a while ago. I suppose I should say "they" did, since I think it started after I left. Basically, it was a rough parody of Kingdom Hearts, but using video game worlds. | |||

JAMES WOODS IS HADES. I was actually pretty glad that they used a lot of the film voice actors for the characters in the original, but I forget: Did they manage to get Robin Williams as the Genie? I heard he doesn't like video games, or something... |

| Robin Williams did Genie in the original Aladdin movie, and oddly enough though not the sequel, the second straight-to-video movie (Aladdin & the King of Thieves) which was surprisingly good. The guy who's doing the voice of Genie in Kingdom Hearts 2 is the same one who did the voice in pretty much every previous incarnation other than the two mentioned.
...he's also Homer Simpson. |

| As far as Disney voice acting goes, I already said how their influence is going with this game. But the shadows of the empire only stretch so long, as the film actors guild has learned to grow weary of the sins produced by this monster company known these days as "Disney Straight-to-vid Sequels."
AKA, original voice actors are intelligent enough to stay away after their first round with Disney, with the exception of a few, such as James Woods. I always thought that Castanella did a good job with Genie. Never could pull off the Williams character-switch that happened so many times in the original Alladin (C), but it was decent enough. What I haven't checkd to see is if the cast for Nightmare Before Christmas was the same, as it sounded damn close to the original in the game. Also, 15 more days to wait. Get your tin cups out and start beggin'! |

But I was just thinking: Would it be considered un-manly of me to be enjoying the English version of "Simple and Clean" even though it sounds like a Disney pop song? Its orchestrated version is definantly kick-ass, and the song gave goosebumps when coupled with the original comercial for KH, but as for listening to the song during the credits? ... I dunno, a certain Shania Twain song is jumping ino my head even as I contemplate it. |

| Bah, nothing wrong with enjoying Simple and Clean...that's just a great song, and the version that plays during the ending sequence of the original is wonderful. If the music in the sequel is even half as good, it'll be wonderful. | |||

| Has anyone heard Passion (english version) yet? It sounds pretty awesome, i like it!
Also-This not being a typical RPG makes me wonder why its in this forum and not General where it would get more attention. Attention it very well deserves for Kingdom Hearts awesomness. Edit- Osment does at great job at Takashi, I think he will do great in KH2. YOU most certainly couldnt do a better job. If you voice acted Sora I would stab myself in the eardrum with a rusty pipe.
