| All of a sudden, a creature, about the size of a very healthy oak tree, emerged behind the group. Its appearance was already an enigma, as it seemed to be a very large worm with a pair of toothed jaws for every feet of its body. It could be assumed that it was much longer since its body was still partially in the ground.
Lily: Teach! I'm sorry, but I can't stay still!! Lily immediately took off as the creature let out a strange, bleating roar. Arminas grabbed Allison's hand and started pulling. Arminas: That is something I DON'T want to fight. Let's go, Allison. |

| "It doesn't have limbs, what's it going to do, try and chew on you!?"
Ark was almost on the floor laughing at the beasts appearence. Maybe he was just stressed out, but it seemed hilarious to him. "Come on, look at it. We could stand back and throw rocks at it all day and it'd have a problem getting you into one of its mouths!" Ark didn't have any idea of how to actually attack it though, it was more or less armored by its teeth. |

| The 'beast' let out another 'terrifying', bleating roar.
Arminas was having trouble keeping in laughter from hearing it again. Arminas: Then why the hell did the Yoshenyoshi run from it? Lucas: Interesting question. Perhaps we may not have to react in a hasty matter. As a matter of fact.. perhaps I can study it a bit.. Lucas slowly walked towards the Long Long Demon, and stood before it. The creature let out a small jet of green gas into the natural historian's face, causing Lucas to reel backwards. His face was buried in his hands. Lucas: Gah! It's.. got poison breath! Recover! Lucas's hands started to glow. A light aura surrounded his body as he felt feeling back in his face. However, his eyes looked rather bloodshot. |

Inside, however, he wasn't laughing... He caught a tiny sniff of the gas and winced in pain. That there was Vypre Gas, he thought... Enough of it could make a grown man go blind, and inhaling it was like sucking the smoke from a fireplace straight into your jaws, coupled with enough neurotoxins to make a bottle of 150 proof rum seem like a glass of lemonade... "Yeh, we'd better run..." He disappeared into the shadows again, and trotted off, unseen but not unknown of by the Long Long Demon. |

| Clara: Yukin, watch out!
The giant worm reared the top of its body back for a moment, and then bent forward to drop itself ontop of Lucas. The natural historian turned around in time to see the Long Long Demon falling towards him and leapt out of the way. The worm actually broke through the ground and shook debris off the ceiling of the tunnel. Clara: What incredible power! 
Allison: Arminas.. Arminas: Don't worry. I'm not aiming to fight it. It's too dangerous even if you were to be out of the way. Lucas: And for Cassandra and Lily for that matter. Lily: Hey! I'm not weak! I can take it on, myself! 
And with that, Lily set loose a wall of fire onto the Long Long Demon. However... Arminas: Hey! Watch where you're aiming that! You nearly fried us! Lily: *sticks out tounge* I still got him, didn't I? The fire quickly dispersed as the giant worm stood upright. It didn't seem to be affected, and one might even say it was pissed off. Lily: ... Run!!!  |

| Sky: I think...this is where we take our exit.
At that, Sky kicked hard at the remaining rocks, making enough of a hole for several people to get through. He quickly grabbed Cassandra and Lily and dragged them through before returning and facing the beast. Sky: I don't know what I can do, but I'll cover our escape as best I can! Move out of here! |

| "No, you get going Sky. This cloak I have can garuntee my safety."
Ark whipped the cloak around and covered his entire body with it. He could faintly see through it and walked towards the beast. "If you're a demon, one of those mouths should speak, or are you just a worthless beast?" Ark was ready to move, but if the demon tried to spit at him, it would never get through to cloak to get him. "Demons always have a purpose... but this could just be a monster... If it is a demon, it'll be better to wait and think of what's going on. If its just a monster, we can kill it just after we form a strategy." |

"Lucas: We cleared the way. Let's get going." But it was already taken care of earlier  ))
The Yoshenyoshi were already running with the group. Clara was one of the last ones to start running. The giant worm let out another bleating roar. It moved closer to Ark and Sky, actually pushing through the earth, instead of crawling on it. Despite Ark wearing the cloak, it still let out a stream of its visible, poisonous gases. It seems like the Yoshenyoshi just called it a demon. Quoshi: We are almost at the exit. Lily: You know.. I've been wondering why we're able to see all this time when there hasn't been any source of light around.. Arminas: You're thinking about something stupid in a time like this?! Lily: Is that thing still behind us? A bleating roar answered Lily's question. Lily: Go away 
There seemed to be a dead end coming up. Lily was about to start groaning when she realized there was the same coloration that everyone saw when they first entered the ruins. Pioshi: There's the exit! Lucas: Open the door! Hurry! Arminas turned his head, and saw the giant worm getting closer and closer. Arminas: That thing's never gonna give up, is it? He immediately held up his fists while Clara drew her sword. Clara: We'll hold off the monster. Yukin, Lily, open the door! The two warrior's hands lit up as they charged towards the beast. Lily: ... um... |

| Sky ran up alongside Clara, still holding his sword, and bracing himself. His hands began to glow as well.
Sky: Unless you've got a particular battle plan, I have something I want to try. I got the idea after a friend had a rather painful experience at a meal. Cassandra screwed up an eyebrow. Cassandra: That's an odd place to get an attack. Sky: Yeah, but it's appropriate. |

| Clara: No plans.
Arminas: Just keep the bastard from moving any closer! Arminas gave a quick punch above the ground. The ground seemed to be ripped apart by a shockwave. Clara did the same manuever, but with her sword. The two shockwaves crashed into the worm. The worm actually stopped, but only to flail its body around. Lily: The door won't open with just two of us! Army! Sammy! Mr. Bishie! C'mon! Arminas rolled out of the way of the worm's head. Arminas: We can't! Lily: C'mon! Clara attempted to block the Long Long Demon's attack with her sword, but was only knocked backwards. She slid right up to Allison's feet. Lucas: Clara! Lucas ran infront of Clara, and held out his hands. Lily: Not you too, Teach! |

| The magewarrior dug his feet in and stuck his sword into the ground. Both of his hands glowed brightly, but not at the same time. He glared at the monster
Sky: When I'm done with you, you'll have to gum your victims to death. With that, a blast of ice spewed forth from Sky's right hand, traversing all that they could see of the worm. It sacrificed power for spread, and made the surface of the monster very, very cold. It was then that the magewarrior released a blast of fire from his left hand, in the same manuever. The worm seemed to hang in midair for a second. And then, the group was nearly deafened, though no one would be able to say whether it was from the tremendous cracking noise they heard as the beast's teeth shattered or the wail of pain the creature made. Sky picked up his sword and faced the monster. Sky: Large temperature fluctuations are bad for teeth, you know. |

| Safe to say, the worm was not pleased. Not pleased at all. It was so not pleased that it flailing its body around even faster than before. Sky and Arminas didn't even have a chance to respond as their bodies were knocked away.
Arminas: Gah! Lucas: Lily, find a way to open that door, now! Lightning! Despite the irony in letting loose a lightning bolt in a rock tunnel was, Lucas was still trying to atleast slow down the monster from afar. Lily: What am I supposed to do alone?! Allison walks over to the door. Allison: Maybe I can help? Do you just hold your hand on it like this? Allison placed her hand on the door. And within one second, the door slid open. Lily: No way! It opened! Allison: But I just put my hand on the wall.. Lily: I didn't expect you of all people to be better at dealing with trap-type things better than me... |

| Cassandra: *gasp* Sky!
The girl runs down to where the magewarrior lies and helps him up. Sky: Err...thanks. Arminas, let's get out of here! That thing's not going to be following us in that condition, but if we stay around here, it could be a problem. With that, Sky went over to his reluctant companion and, with Cassandra's help, the three of them headed to the exit, a bit worse for wear. |

| Allison was about to run over to Arminas, but he simply pointed out the door.
Arminas: Just hurry out! A beautiful view of a mountain range had greeted everyone's eyes as they stepped out. Everyone was standing on cliff on the side of a mountain. The area had a few patches of grass here and there, but the for most of it, it was just solid rock. The very location everyone was panting over was practically ideal for a picnic. As soon as the last person go out, the door closed behind them. Lily: Man.. That was too close.. Lucas: Is everyone else alright, for the most of it? |

| Sky: I've been better. That thing hits pretty hard.
Sky lies down in the grass, not completely exhausted, but definitely feeling like a rest would be good. Cassandra walks over to Lucas. Cassandra: So what now? We rescued the girl and met up with the bandits...do we get to go to the cute cute Yoshi village now?

| Lucas: I think we should take a break and call it a day.
Unfortunately, there wasn't anytime to relax. The Long Long Demon tore through the door. Lily: It's still chasing us!! Clara: Wait a minute.. The worm stopped moving closer to the group. All of its mouths were wide open, while its body was writhing. Clara: It looks like it's in pain. Lucas: .. Being an underground creature, perhaps it can't take sunlight. |

| "It's worthless now, it'll starve to death."
Ark jumped on top of the worm and shoved a spear into one of the mouths. He sent it almost four feet in before jumping off and pulling it out. He began to carefully work on other mouths, sometimes doing the same thing, and sometimes just cutting off the tongue. "I wish I knew your anatomy better, so I could just kill you instantly instead of this painful death..." |

Sky was quickly on his feet and backing Cassandra and Lily away from the beast. Sky: Whoa there, pal, just let the thing go. With all this life around us, and as much pain as its in, it's not going to be able to hurt us intentionally...but it's still pretty strong. Let it tire itself out. |
