Ark went back to work, tossing rock out of the way. "Lily, you should be more careful about how you speak. Just think if I had been evil this entire time. How many times could I have ambushed you? Think about who you're talking to when you speak to anyone." Ark heaved a rather large rock off to the side. It crashed into the ground with a hard thud noise. It was really a wonder how he was capable of even standing, sometimes... Arminas let out an irritated grunt, and continued pulling rocks. There was some beams of light shining through. Their job was almost done. Lily: Treasure hungry? I prefer to call it the thrill of life! The excitement of life! *looks at Allison* Is that the one Army found? Allison: Oh... Yes. Lily: Could I take a quick look at it? Allison: Sure. Allison removed the brooch and held it out. Lily walked up Allison and took a close look at it, giving it a few pokes. Lily: It's an unusual stone.. Allison: Kind of.. I guess. Lily: This color.. it's similar to the one in his records... No no no... That's too easy. It couldn't have been right next to me all along. But, then again... Clara: ... | Almost as fast as a bolt of lightning, Lily ran right up to Ark and pulled him down to her height.
Lily: Eh heh heh! Don't mind Drenchy! He's thinking out loud too, about some random Everclear drink. 
Lily pulled Ark a bit away from the others and whispered to him. Lily: Don't say it so loudly! I'm not even sure if that really is it... And if it is.. I gotta play it really cool if we're gonna get it. Lily released Ark and started walking towards Allison. Lily: Ally? Allison: Yes? Lily: Can I have this brooch?
Allison: No! Allison snapped her hands to her chest, which were still holding the brooch, and walked a few good feet away from Lily. Allison: I can't ever let go of this. It's extremely important to me. Lily: Whoa, she got all serious all of a sudden. Clara: Well, yeah. |

| Cassandra placed herself between Lily and Allison, putting her arms out as if to block any further advances. She wore a stern exp Cassandra: You leave this girl alone. Your treasure hunting caused enough trouble with the spiders, maybe you should re-think your voracious attitude. Sky heard the exchange, but kept on digging. They were almost through, and he wasn't about to stop for a quarrel that seemed relatively minor. Still, this heightened his suspicion of the little girl. She was trouble, he knew that much. |

Let's get going. Lily: They're all showing up at the worst possible time.... but I'm not gonna give up yet.. ...... You know.. Lily walked up to Arminas and Allison. "Let's steal it. Let's steal it and run. I mean, there are only..." Ark turned around to count how many people there actually was. "... seven of them. The yoshi guys don't really count anyways. If it isn't the Everlight, we can just return it, no harm done, right?" |
