Better known as Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid... he died at the age of 73 of natural causes.

RIP Pat Morita

Oh, damn. I remember this guy as IŽve seen the Karate Kid movies. The crane is a good memory.

Sad that he died at 73. It isnŽt that old. HeŽll be missed.

He was the coolest japanese guy back then. He did not do any movies since the last karate kid. I don't know if he did any movies after that though. Goodbye Pat we will miss you.

Here's a more complete list

And as you can see, PeterGriffinTheMan is wrong about his not doing any movies after The Next Karate Kid. (Has that guy ever been right about anything?)

well, you need to give PeterGriffinTheMan some credit for saying this: He did not do any movies since the last karate kid. I don't know if he did any movies after that though.

anyways, pat morita also did some work for a children's PBS program about 10 years ago... the karate kid and his happy day's role will probably be what he will be best remembered for
