And in cheese souffle news, Beef Wellington is an ICON. During a promo about how they'll destroy whoever in the Cage of Death:

Beef Wellington: "...because we are going to tear the house down, in the greatest death match OF ALL TIME!"
Cameraman: "Uh, excuse me guys? I don't think you're in the Cage of Death."
Excalibur: "Oh thank GOD..."
Beef Wellington: "That's just great, I was really afraid there for a second, because I'm afraid of both cages and of death."

I don't know if there will be a WWE Smackdown this Friday on UPN but the possibility will come on Sunday. Anyway here are the results in this spoiler at the WWE Tapings. I warned you!

Spoiler:

* Tatanka defeats Booker T after Boogeyman spooks Sharmell

* Randy Orton defeats Super Crazy in a good free TV match with the RKO

* MNM defeat Matt Hardy/Animal in a non-title match, Animal turns heel on Hardy

* Lashey v. Finlay goes no contest to a pull apart brawl which the crowd goes NUTS for

* Benoit v. JBL for the US Title is announced for WM22

* Regal insults Paul Birchill, who will get his first match as "The Pirate" next week

* Angle v. Undertaker ends in DQ when Henry attacks Taker and splashes him through an announce table

And apparently he screwed up SPECTACULARLY to get fired in that kind of fashion.

Booze, sex or an eight-ball. Take your pick.

I was gonna say, that's definitely not the typical "we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors" type of message we usually see from the "E".

Though, given he cost Vince McMahon a cool $26 mil in the early 90s, I'm surprised he even had a job now.

(When he was one half of the Rockers with Shawn Michaels, he paralyzed some jobber in the process of performing their finisher, I believe it was the Rocker Dropper, on him. Said jobber then sued for $3 million. The judge, for some reason, saw fit to award him $26 million instead)

Nah, a lot of people thought it was an angle but... apparently it isn't.

I'm sure we'll find out within the week how stupid Marty actually is.

Um... you mean Saturday Night's Main Event, which is going to be on this Saturday and which they've pushed on TV for a few weeks now.

The Shawn Michaels vs. Shane McMahon match was pretty good. Nice to see a big bump from HBK.... also glad to see Shane can still get it done.

Vince got Vanterminator'd! !

Yeah exactly. The Street fight is a good match. Reminds me of Shane vs .Kurt Angle in a street fight in 1999's King of the Ring. I wonder what Shane is up to right now.

The match was eh. You got your big bump and that but it was like every other Shane match. Not bashing Shane but you can't expect him to be a great worker, and his peak came against Kurt Angle in that BRUTAL street fight they had. Way better than this.

I'm sure everyone's seen this by now, but Iron Sheik, if he had his way, would have easily had the highlight of WrestleMania 3. But he didn't, out of respect for God, Jesus, and Vince McMahon. Any chance we could get a rematch for WM22? Iron Sheik/B. Brian Blair, winner humbles the loser old country style.

Sheiky is one of the greatest EVER.

Oh, and the SNME rating if nobody saw it... 3.2. Put it this way... 5.0 would be decent. 4.0 would be bad. This is worse than a 4.0. Someone's going to be out for blood.

I need to see that match only because I heard that Mickie did a FANTASTIC job as the lesbian/psycho. Granted, the feud had been given more build than most stuff on the card, but still.

My friend Justin over AIM: "So Mysterio won the title."
Me: "Clearly you fell victim to some late April Fool's joke, as we all know that if you're not 6'6" and 300 lbs of solid muscle (With very little in-ring ability), you have no chance of ever getting anywhere in the "E"."
Justin: "rofl, the "E"."
Me: "So Mysterio seriously won the title?"
Justin: "Yeah."

...color me surprised.

Even if it was on the phone, it wouldn't be nearly as awesome as this. Oh yeah. Oh damn yeah.

Randy Orton has been given a 60-day suspension from WWE, scheduled to start on April 12th. It's not drug related, but apparently he didn't have a very good WM weekend and was violating the dress code among other things, and stuff's just piled up over the past while and finally pissed someone off.

So, that means...

Spoiler:
Rey beat Orton to retain the title last night at the tapings, and next week it seems that Orton will do a first round/qualifying round/whatever job to Angle in the first round of the 2006 King of the Ring tournament. It's back.
