No.. and I've never had to.
My keyboard has busted a few times.. but Macs don't come with that computer keyboard thing you click on like PCs do (NO RIGHT-CLICK AND NO CLICKABLE KEYBOARD? HOW DO I SURVIVE?!), so I don't really have an alternative when that happens. |

No... I use my keyboard to type and my mouse to move the pointer around.
I'd assume 99% of computer users, at the very least, do the same. |

Nope.
Thankfully my mouse is in working order and if by some off-chance that it did stop working I have back up mouses. Two of them to be exact. |

I have once... My mom's wireless mouse's batteries died, so I used numkeys for a week... Got a nice USB laser mouse after that though, so it was worth it.

Outside of gaming, more or less, I only use my keyboard. You learn to use shortcuts and stuff, but it takes a while to get used to.

You mean movin' around the mouse with the numpad? Yeah, i use that option from time to time when im bored/my mouse stops working.
But not in the last two months. tough. I want one of those razorback mice... :/ (edited by Ylle on 11-25-05 12:16 AM) (edited by Ylle on 11-25-05 12:21 AM) (edited by Ylle on 11-25-05 12:22 AM) (edited by Ylle on 11-25-05 12:22 AM) |

I never use it because when you need the numpad, you have to go all the way and turn it off.

I've never used the keyboard buttons as a mouse because most of the time my mouse is working. I just use the keyboard to type (duh) and also use it as a control pad on emulators.

Nope, I don't use it, but it's yet another feature wonderful KDE has
KDE does run on Mac OS X via the X11 server, but Apple de-privilegized X11 by a lot. Good thing for maintaining system stability (often X locks up right when you're logging off, and it leaves the keyboard and mouse absolutely useless ), bad thing for apps that really need some extra functionality (eg, some of KDE's components) BTW, you can plug in nice, normal three-button mice on Macs. I'd do it if I ever got a Mac |

My mouse broke in the middle of WoE, so I had to tape my mouse to attack the Emperium. Then, when I had almost broke the Emperium, Acmlm killed me.

Isn't using the numpad to move your mouse an accessibility feature on Windows? Because I think it would be harder to use the numpad then a mouse.

Eh... sometimes I tap the down arrow key to scroll down the page, but other than that, its all mouse for me...
The only reason I wouldnt use my mouse is to highlight something I cant click on *Coughinvisiblethreadscough* |

When reading something where I need to scroll to get the entire thing (like a thread), I use the up and down arrows to scroll, but that's about it.

Sometimes I'll use the keyboard to scroll, but I usually use my good ol' mouse for that job. |
