| Lucas: I'm not too sure about that. We humans have been living on this island for only fifteen years. Infact, reports about brushings with monsters have, if anything, decreased due to having ome users living in the area. There was a theory thrown around about the creatures on this island having a group conciousness, where we humans are seen as the foreign agents and must be purged off the island. However, that theory is a bit faulty, since a monster rarely approaches the village of Southern Light, and there are the beast tamers.
Arminas: Maybe it's just because every damned monster, from the birds to the rabbits to the mushroom freaks, are carniverous?! Damnit, can't you guys just keep walking? Lucas: Yes, you may be onto something, there Arminas. Have you considered sending your hypothesis in to-- Arminas: Look! It's that flying man! Arminas wasn't sure if he should be thrilled that the conversation was about to stop. The man that had kidnapped Allison was standing infront of a strangely colored part of the wall of the rock formation everyone was walking to. | At that, the crimson magewarrior gestured with one hand to Lily and Cassie to stay back, while with the other he drew his sword and pointed it at the man in front of them.
Sky: I don't know what your business with the girl is, but release her now! We will not stand by while you trouble innocents for your gain! Cassandra: Wait, I've seen this man before. I saw him when I came to the island...and I don't remember much after that before you rescued me... |

| Clara had drawn her sword as well.
Clara: Yes, we will not allow you to continue your nefarious acts. The kidnapper simply turned around. His right hand started to glow as he held it up. Arminas: Bastard! Don't you dare ignore us! The strangely colored portion of the rock wall glowed for a moment, and then slide to the side. The flying man stepped inside, bringing Allison with him. Arminas: Oh no you don't.. Arminas immediately sprinted forward. He tried the best he can to run into the opening, but it was too late. The "door" had slid back in place. Arminas: Damnit! He tried punching and kicking the wall, but nothing happened. |

| Nothing was happening to the door, however.
Lily: Any ome! Honestly. People just like to muscle their way in. There were several eyes that appeared on Lily. Clara: You're a fine one to talk. Lucas: I'm not going to easily forget that incident back at the Crystal Forest. Lily: Hey! I'm trying to help you guys. Arminas: Then stop talking already and just show us. Lily: Hmph. Fine. Lily stepped infront of the door, and held out a hand. Her fingernails were glowing. Lily: ..... Arminas: Nothing's happening. Lily: Of course not, if you guys just stand there staring! C'mon and help already. Reluctantly, Arminas stepped infront of the door, and held out his hand. Clara did so too, as well as Lucas. As soon as all of their fingers were glowing, the door opened up. Lucas: Fascinating. I've never realized you can do that with omes.. Lily: See? That's why ome users and treasure hunters were meant to be together! Inside was a path that led underground. The path seemed to be an ancient tunnel, but it was in horrible condition, seeing as how there were broken pillars and pieces of the ceiling on the floor. |

Sky was surprised it was taking them this long to catch up to the kidnapper. There was something ominous about the pathway they were following, and the rather odd method of opening the door had unnerved him as well. This road led to trouble, there was no doubt in his mind about that. |

Lily: See? Mr. Bishie recognizes my prowess! Drenchy was moved by my charms and was compelled to aid me in my search for the Everlight. Clara: She opens one door and her head is already inflated. Though... that was kind of.. amazing. Lily: Of course it was! Well... I did have a cheat sheet to help.. It was left behind by my teacher, as worthless as he was. |

| As Arminas hastily walked down the path, a hand clapped around his mouth and dragged him forcefully up against the wall. Sigmund whispered into his ear... His whiskers prickled Arminas' face as his gritty voice made its way into Arminas' head.
Sigmund: "Shhhh.... Quiet, ya brawny sack-o-meat! While the rest of you were muckin' 'round in yer own little world, I was busy bein' productive 'bout that kidnapper while 'e dragged yer girlsis into the place. 'goes ta show how far yer filthy 'omes get ya... Ingenuity any day!" As Arminas struggled against his grip, Sigmund restrained him, and kept going into his overly-stylized exposition... "I done told ya ta be quiet! If'n ya want yer ladysis back, yeh'll 'ave ta take it slow... He's only a few feet away and the best y'all can do is take 'im on together 'steada brashin' in like ya been doin'..." Sigmund threw Arminas to the ground. By this time, the rest of the party had seen him... He took one look at them, and disappeared in a flash... |

Unable to move, snipes was caught in the blast. His clothes burning, up, snipes pulled out one of his pistols, and fired one energy beam at the woman who was trying to burn him to a crisp. If danielle could see what Snipes was under the clothes, she might have been a little confused. Snipes, under the clothes, was a reploid. grabbing his other pictol, Snipes took a second shot at the woman, before limping, still very hot, away from the withering flames. "Bitch." |

| Kidnapper: I've had enough of this. I will bury you all right here and no--
Arminas: Give Allison back! Clara: Justice shall prevail! Arminas nor waited for Sky and the mystery man to finish their banter. Both came charging at the kidnapper, with their fingertips glowing. Both had their weapons of choice extended and aiming to thust it into the kidnapper. The man in the black jacket spun around to the right, with Arminas's fist plowing through nothing but air. Meanwhile, the kidnapper performed a roundhouse kick during his spin at Clara's blade, throwing the swordswoman off balance. Lucas wasn't too thrilled with the reckless running, but he thought he might as well do something about it. He held up a glowing hand, and pointed at the kidnapper. However, he noticed the kidnapper's eyes looked at him momentarily. Lucas: .. No good, he's resolute. My crystal ome would do more harm than good inside. |

| Ark look worriedly at the walls of the tunnel. If they collapsed, they'd all be in trouble.
"Lily, be careful and stay close." Ark walked in front of Lily and held his spear in both his hands. He didn't think he could match the kidnapper if he rushed, especially since he just stopped two people from attacking. He did know how to defend against someone with that kind of skill though. "If I was alone, I might be able to stop him... With everyone around though and not enough space to move, I don't stand a chance." |

| Sky saw the foolhardy youths rush at the kidnapper, and both of them get taken down rather easily. Taking a rather different approach, the magewarrior decided to play a different game with their adversary. He drew his sword and extended his collapsible shield and advanced on the man...slowly, carefully.
Sky: You took out the kids' attacks because they wanted to take you out quickly...I, on the other hand, will be satisfied with taking you apart bit by bit. No more tricks, just you and me, blade to blade...assuming you have one. |

| The kidnapper's eyes did not have any burning warrior's eyes. The eyes were cold and full of hatred.
Kidnapper: I have no desire be a part of your sadistic games, koehra. The kidnapper leapt into the air, and hovered above the ground. He held out both of his hands. A strange black shape started to form infront of him, and started to grow bigger. Arminas: Bastard, don't you dare turn away-- Kidnapper: Fisavain! The black shape flew into Arminas, setting off a miniexplosion on his chest. He was knocked further away from the man. Clara managed to keep her distance away from the man. The kidnapper concentrated on another shape to form. |
