According to Wikipedia, it was named Dynamic Drive early in its development, but it stands for Disk Drive.

Ah, interesting. Well, that sums it all up.

Does anyone here actually own an N64DD? On an F-Zero community I'm on almost all of the hardcore competitive fans ordered it and the F-Zero EK set for over $675.

Technicly, I co-own it. Yoronosuku is currently in posession of it, and basicly has been since the beginning..you'd need to ask her for specifics since I've only really played it a couple of times (mostly F-Zero, she might have got some other games since). But yea...she's the one to ask

The list has been proven fake ages ago.

Blue Falkon: If you're joking, you should indicate it as such. Lighten up.

That list was a list of POSSIBLE games. Not all of them might make it, and more games might make the list depending what third parties sign up.

Dynamic Drive, actually, is what I heard. I guess it was just the original name or something...? But okay yes, Disk Drive.

Ok, you turn the controller sideways to play NES, but what about SNES and N64. I mean how the hell are you supposed to play N64 games with that controller (unless you use the gamecube controller)

They can come up with several different controllers.

So the system will be cheaper, but it balances out when you buy 5 different controllers for it. XD (Actually, I think they said some games could include controllers...)

Itīd be kick-as if they could realeas a new not that expensive SNES controller that you can insert in the Gamecube controller port.

Or something like that.

That would be a very good idea. I hope Nintendo actually does some stuff like this, it would make things a lot easier. I would like to use those old controllers again.

Or even just a converter...SNES->GCN converter, or something like that. Besides I can think of a million and a half uses for the N64 controller so me wants a converter.

...Why release something that you'd insert in the controller port when the thing's WIRELESS?

Heh...sorta forgot about that part. ;x Well, you could always just release a thing that looks like a tiny little box with an n64/snes/whatever port on it that acts as a wireless transmitter.

...yea. Or we could just wait and see what they do.

I don't think the entire thing's wireless, is it? Wireless < Cord... for me, anyway. I thought there were controller ports somewhere on it... although maybe it is just wireless, who knows.
