| Nova took the sabrecat up alongside Hikari's horse and turned to her.
Nova: It's pretty clear that we all have the same aim here, so we're going to be working together. And as such, I feel it's appropriate that we properly introduce ourselves. It's not my real name, but I generally go by Nova. Yourself? |

Hikari's eyes wandered for a moment when she caught note of something up ahead. Hikari: What in... There's a big ol' pile of boulders in the way. |

| Nova: Like I said, I don't think I'm going back to the guy. And he's not interested in dealing so much as a very hostile takeover, if you know what I mean. It should be a while before he figures out I'm not coming back. I'd watch out for those boulders, though...there could be more above ready to fall. | |||

| Nova urged the sabrecat to quicken his pace, and quickly caught up to Nijote in time to hear her remark. For a dark and mysterious man addressing a self-proclaimed assassin, he spoke surprisingly softly.
Nova: I spent a number of years in a rather dirty line of work. Hell, even now I'm just coming out of a somewhat cleaner arrangement. It tends to draw you in, even more when you try to leave. I can help you to escape from that. And perhaps together we can strike back at those who would control us. |

| Hikari looked at the pile of boulders. It didn't look like they were going anywhere.
Hikari: *speaking quietly* I'm not about to wait for the whole process of boulder clearin' with explosives. And with that thought, the redhead gave her horse a pat before she hopped off. She gave another look at the tall pile before her, and started climbing. |

| A multitude of hard, icy spikes speared into the boulder that Hikari was climing...
Johnathan: "It would be a bit faster to use these, Miss Hikari." Using the spikes as a rather well-placed ladder, Johnathan finally did something productive, and began climbing as more and more spikes appeared in the air above him and speared into the rock. Soon, the ladder extended all the way to the top of the boulder... From there, where they went was Hikari's decision. |

| Nijote: "Why do you think I took this job instead of the competing job to kill her?"
Nijote turned to her horse and said something very quietly. The horse turned around and took off towards the town. Nijote looked up at the icey spikes and leaped into the air, she landed on one spike and shot up past Hikari. She continued like this till she reached the top of the boulder. |

| The sabrecat, on urging from Nova, bounded up the pile of rocks and stopped next to Nijote.
Nova: If you heard about the job to kill her, then you probably know who we're going to have to go after at some point. But even then, they're not going to let go of someone so easily. I want to help you get out of this completely...if you go it alone, you never will. |

| Meanwhile, Hikari had just finished climbing over the pile of boulders. She looked around the area, hoping to find a perfectly fine Mitra waving at her. Instead, she saw just a knocked over man.
Now that the man wasn't moving, it was easier to tell what he was wearing. A blue vest with gold trimming, a long sleeved, white shirt with the sleeve ends becoming wider at the ends, some light colored pants, and light brown boots. Definitely a bit out of the ordinary, but-- Hikari: Still felt a bit natural...*shakes head* Er.. I mean... I need to stop bleeding narration like that.. Hikari held onto her hat as she slid down the slippery rocks. As soon as she reached level ground, she jumped into the air with the momentum she got. Kidnapper: Damned Go-- Aiiee! Just as as the man was getting up to his feet, he was knocked back to the ground by an elbow to the chest. Kidnapper: Damn, lass. Ye done near kill meh. Hikari: You'd better tell me Miss Mitra ain't under that heap behind me, or, by the Goddesses, I swear I will shank you. The red head's intense glare beated directly into the kidnapper's jade-hued eyes. Her eyes wandered momentarily to the sides as a little rush of blood swept into her cheeks. It was at that moment the man pushed Hikari off, and immediately tried to pin her down by grabbing her arms. However, the girl rolled further to the side and pushed herself onto her feet. Along the way up, she pulled out a knife out of her boot, and held it in a strange combat position. Kidnapper: Yer very quick. Hikari: You caught me off guard, but don't think I won't carve a matching scar on that face of yours. Kidnapper: Whoa whoa whoa. Ye need ta calm down some, lass. Ah, why are ye askin' fer her? 'Tis the reason be you wantin' attention from me, eh? I'll take ye away if ye like. Hikari's face grew a bit red as she stared at the man in pure confusion. She blinked for a moment. She shook her head and then stomped her left foot. Hikari: Don't be sweet talkin' me! An' don't be changin' the subject! Where is Mitra? Kidnapper: Oh, ye don't even ask for me name? Ah, fine then. The man points up to a fifty yard cliff wall. Hikari traces her eyes along the rocky wall, and finds a giant beast standing atop. Hikari: A Biggoron?! Biggoron: Mah name Mule Joe-goro. Get it right-goro. Hikari was surprised and unimpressed at the sametime. The giant stared down at everyone from beneath his enormous sombrero. His left arm popped out from beneath his poncho to curl his long, thin mustache. A very blank look appeared on Hikari's face when she looked at the man again. Nijote was furious. She moved her hands and she had four vials all full of explosives. Nijote: "This is stupid!" Nijote threw the vials at the goron in a fit of rage. This was really to much. Nijote: "We'll talk later Nova!" |

| The explosives never reached the Goron, though, as Nova popped off a few energy blasts, knocking them out of the air.
Nova: Are you crazy?! He kidnapped Mitra, and she could be right up there with him! You blow up that cliff, and she dies too! |

| Hikari: ... You practically flew away with her, and you expect me to believe he's got her? With these string of kidnappings, I'm startin' to think ya'll been in cahoots.
Ex-Kidnapper: Oi! That mighty beast isn't me friend! I've been searchin' for the Phoenix, and I jus' thought she was free for the pickin', savvy? Hikari gave the man a hard glare until her attention was diverted by the goron. Mule Joe beat his hands against his chest. He then hopped up and stomped the ground several times. The wall began to shift around. Ledges that led up to the one Mule Joe was standing on had been jostled around. After that, Mule Joe grabbed onto a nearby stash of boulders and began to hurl them down. The boulders convieniently tumbled down the ledges. Hikari: Just great. |

Nijote jumped out of the way of a boulder. Nijote: "I'm not going to let her die." Nijote started to claim the slope, but as another boulder came down, she abandoned the effort. |

| Hikari: We're hangin' around with a bunch of loonies.
The giant goron gently twists around his dastardly-looking mustache before tossing another wave of boulders. Hikari looked around around and notices the ledges form a zigzagy path up, something easy enough for her to get up quickly. Hikari: C'mon, Glenn an' Johnny. Hikari ran forward, keeping aware of the falling boulders. |

| Nova: You lot go up there and get him, I'll keep him occupied down here. And as for you...
Nova dismounted and walked over to the man who had taken Mitra earlier. He presented his right hand forward as if to shake on something, then reached forward with his left hand and smacked the man on his presented neck. The man fell limp, and Nova tossed him onto the sabrecat. Nova: ...we'll deal with you later. |

| Hikari climbed onto the first ledge, and quickly pressed herself against the rock wall as a boulder fell past her. She let out a sigh of relief and then nodded. She started her progress of scaling the wall by leaping from ledge to ledge.
Mule Joe took a step back, in slight shock of seeing someone climbing up the rockwall. He leans over to the side to grab Mitra, who was sitting quietly on a rock, humming to herself. Mule Joe then began to run further up the mountain. There was a bit of walking to do to reach the next tallest ledge for the giant goron, but his long strides were making it easy. |
