It was.

Well, I just got back from looking over the archive, and I guess you could say my posts were "sub-par." Bad grammar, spelling, use of header, the lot. However, oddly enough, members back then didn't seem to mind it all that much.

Note, though, that my "spammy" posts back then were never intentional.

Lets see... I was posting at an uma thurman message board, when I came across a Why-Dee.
From there, she IMed me, and later linked me to an Acmlm's. She urged me to sign up and promised me sex if I did. So here I am.

Still with no sex.

Poke Rom Hacking, I tought I'd find some help here while I started. Then I posted here and there a little bit and noticed that there were a lot of cool people going here , then the board blew up and now I'm posting more than ever. Plus I generally waste my time at boards like this running my mouth.

I started off by... let's see. I started hanging out on the Super Metroid forum at Gamefaqs, and I met Kejardon and Account of Posting, along with Ultima4701 (both hackers of Super Metroid, Ultima was working on a rival editor for Super Metroid before he quit the scene), and eventually went to #supermetroid on... espernet i think. It's moved around a lot. The channel is basically dead now. But we used to try to glitch the hell out of that game, the king of which is Kejardon. Then I think one day Xin linked to Acmlm's board. I noticed it had a romhacking section and I was instantly interested, b/c I had been doing it independently for almost a year.

Well, I was looking around Fusoya's Niche and looked around the site and found the board links he put up. After about a month or two of being a guest (don't even say a damn thing), I got used to it and signed up and here I am today.

I saw people hacking SMW, I'm like "Wow, I'm gonna play all the hacks". Then I saw Acmlm's hacks, and that brought me here. Then I found Lunar Magic. Then I started making my own personal creation. Then I started to get to know people on the board (not in RL of course) and now I'm here. The end.

All started when a friend from school showed me his graphing calculator that had a Mario editor on it. Since then I tried to find level editing tools of Mario games. I stumbled across an ezboard forum with some featured SMW hacks, one of which was none other than Strange Mario World by Acmlm. That lead me to Acmlm's domain, which I found this board from and saw all the people talking about SMW hacks, and thought, "Hey, that's cool!" And here I am today.

Back when Kiwibonga had his board based on the Acmlm architecture, I was probably led to Acmlm's board proper via that...late 2001 or so.

So I was chillin' out one day with my homies, smokin some pot like we usually did. We were discussing last night's football game. Suddenly, a dark red car pulled up beside us. We knew immediately what that meant, a rival gang was arriving. A window of the mysterious automobile rolled down, revealing a man with an eerie aura surrounding him. We approached it with caution. The strange man handed my friend Samuel a note, and drove off. The note stated that his gang had officially challenged ours to a turf war to take place at 11:30 PM Tuesday night.

The specifics of it shocked us all, though. There would be no weapons nor vehicles involved. It would be a fight to the death, our only weapons being our own fists. Arnold had taken boxing lessons, so he decided to teach us the way of the warrior. I had difficulty learning the techniques, though. I was ready to give up. That is when I remembered back to the time when I bailed out on some of my homies. There was a drive-by shooting, and I had an AK-47 with me. I could've easily stopped the car, but I dove for cover instead. All three of my fellow gangsters ended up dead. I was not about to let that happen again. Confidence regained, I went from an ameteur to a near-expert in just three days. I planned to fight for the honor of my gang, even if it meant death.

Tuesday night rolled around. This was it. The night of the turf war. Most of the gang was present in the dark alley we planned to quarrel in. The night was hot and humid. The suspense was unbearable. I was ready to kick some ass. Suddenly, we saw headlights approaching. It was them. They emerged from their vehicles in groups of four. We stared each other down. Our numbers were equal. After about a minute or so, one of their goons made the first move. He screamed out a war cry as he charged in for a sucker punch on Daniel. Luckily, my homie blocked it and punched the guy's nose in. From that point on, it was utter chaos. I fought hard without backing down. Knocking out those guys was easy, as they were unskilled in defending themselves. Reinforcements of theirs soon arrived though, and some tougher gang members joined in. We still managed to keep them busy, however. Then, it happened. A cry of pain. I looked to my left to see one of the rival gang members plunging a knife into my homie's body. "Those cheating bastards" I thought to myself. I dashed over to the asshat who did it, kicked the knife clear out of his hands with surprising precision, and smashed him in the mouth. This was turning out to be a more difficult battle than I thought.

Suddenly, a car sped into the war zone and stopped in the middle. I quickly realized it was armed with a bomb, stopped what I was doing, and ran away from the ticking time bomb. It exploded just as I got at a safe distance. Nobody else survived.

Saddened by this senseless loss, I moped back to the hideout. I saw light coming from a room though. It was a colorful light, with no sound accompanied. Using stealth, I crept up to the room and peered inside. I saw a lone member of the enemy gang, on the computer in his rival gang's hideout. Pulling out my switchblade, I snuck up behind him, covered his mouth, and slit his throat. Moving the dead corpse out of the way, I looked at the computer screen and saw this.

I think when i'm trying to host my first hack I made. That hack is Super Mario Bros 3. The lost levels for the SNES. My hacks will be hosted onto my site very very very very soooooonnnnnnn. That caused me to come to this board. It was extremely fun.

Among with the Winxclub message board I went I think It kinda SUCK. It's a good thing I was banned from the account. Never going here anymore. That's one of my first boards before Acmlm's board.

Geez, that was a while ago, almost 2 years ago...

I remember being interested in roms and hacking, and naturally, rom hacking. And Incidentally, Mario Rom Hacking. Google led me here, and after a month or so I signed up. I never was that active, and disappeared after about two months.

I showed up again after almost a year for about a week, then disappeared again for a year, (This week was a month or so after the first reset)

And now, today, I'm back (after ANOTHER reset). Incidentally, I'm not sure why I decided to come back...

Yeah, and I'm not interested in rom hacking much anymore, i just play roms every once in a great while.
