((Sukasa, I think it'd be appropriate when he's actually with us Unless you just describe what his appearance a bit or something...))

Lily: Hey hey hey! What're you doing?!

Lily was flailing her arms, until she realized the tortoise have started to keel over. The tortoise seem like they were struck by an invisible force several times over until they all started to dissolve in the air.

Lily: Oh! These guys aren't Ice based... Imagine that.. Well! Nice job!

Lily skips over to the remains of the base turtles. She bends over and picks up several golden pieces and some other rock-like objects.

Lily: Yay! Shines! Though.. I don't know what I'm gonna do with Base Turtle omes...

She stuffs the objects into her pouch. She smiles again and turns to the others.

Lily: Well.. I might've been wrong about their element type... But.. uh.. I'm almost positive that they're agressive.

She turns around and starts walking across the beach. There wasn't any sea creatures nearby, but one could see random beasts about in the distance in the fields.

Lily: Ok! It should be a few minutes before get back onto drier land.

---------------------------

Unfortunately for Snipes, he was greeted by a large amount of bandits walking about the entrance of the mountain path. They didn't notice Snipes, but they were still a bit irritated.

Sigmund: "Less blinking, more banking! I'll rip that sullying bandit's jewels right off him! I was wondering how long it'd take you kids to get across that thing!"

Sigmund had wasted absolutely no time with the mysterious swordswoman or the bandits, simply pressing forward and completely ignoring everything but his goal.

"I'm s'poseda be the slow, old man here! Let's get--- Excuse me."

Suddenly, a single bandit leapt out from the trees that surrounded the second half of the bridge and attacked Sigmund!

Sigmund responded by not looking away from Arminas and his group and nonchalantly punching the bandit in the face several times with his left hand before holding him in a choke grip until the man fell unconscious.

"Now then, let's get moving!"

Lucas lets out a sigh as he starts walking.

Lucas: I think my hair may start turning earlier than expected.. Arminas, I've been meaning to ask. What's with the paper you keep taking out and writing on?

Arminas: This? Oh.. Well.. It's just a lot's been going on... Just thought it'd be useful to write some of the stuff down... Some habit I couldn't kick..

Lucas: I see... I suppose there is hope for you yet.

Arminas: What's that supposed to mean?

Lucas: I find keeping a journal of one's daily activities to be a wonderful habit.... Ah.. would you mind if I jotted down my own notes? Those wolves seemed like extordinary specimens, and I feel as if it should be noted..

Arminas: ...Sure, whatever.

Arminas handed the papers over to Lucas, whose spectacles seemed to shine the moment he touched the paper.

Lucas: ... I might have to take back my comment about hope.

Arminas:

Lucas had to take care of some business, so he told me to wait at the fountain plaza. While I was waiting, some brat came by and got me into a fight with the village.

And then these "Bantam Bouncers" came by and caused even more trouble.

Lucas finally came around, but I wound up finding myself being hit by his crystal ome power.

I'm now stuck with a lot more extra baggage picked up from village and even outside it.

Well, whatever. As long as we're heading to the bandits' lair.

But seriously, why does everyone have to tag along?

Sky: So Lucas, you have any idea what the old man's business with Rufus is? He didn't really properly explain it..

Cassandra follows along, with a bit more difficulty than she had been before, as if her cloak had gotten a bit heavier. Still, she pressed on, and walked up to Arminas.

Cassandra: So what is your aim on this mission, anyway? And why do you have to be so.....mean?

Lucas: Yes.. About Sigmund.. I'm not quite sure about it myself, but I believe it involves a rare ring. It's part of Rufus' stash, and he wants it back.. or he wanted a piece of it, I can't remember which story he told was the real one.

Arminas: Tch..

Arminas didn't bother to make eye contact with Cassandra. He kept on walking, without saying anything, for a while, atleast..

Arminas: I have to rescue Allison.. My sister. That's all that matters.

OoC: Wow, you and Sky went insane

Ark picked up an Ome from one of the turtles. He put it in a hidden pocket somewhere inside he cloak. He'd have to examine it sometime later.

"I think we should've waited till they attacked... they were just turtles after all..."

Ark noticed a hole in the sand, probably where some of the turtles had laid eggs, it was said that all the turtles had just been slaughtered. Animals had more than their right to live where they wanted, Ark knew more than that.

As the group of bandits approached Snipes, he reacted to them by drawing one of his pistols, [He had two] and getting into a crouched position. Tracking the nosie of the voices, Snipes maintained an intent watch on the crest of the hill. Slowly creeping upward, Snipes caught the bandits with their backs turned. Not wanting a confrontation is he could avoid it, since these weren't the voices Snipes had heard earlier, he tried to sneak past them and keep on going.

*SNAP!*

Looking down, Snipes realized that he had just stepped on a noisy little branch. Reacting quickly, Snipes looked up at the bandits.

To them, Snipes would have looked like any regular person at first glance, with a tan T-shirt and cotton pants, although at the moment they were tied only with a length of white rope. Around this 'belt' Snipes carried only he supplies he'd had on him when he got here, namely 3 grenades, and 2 smoke grenades, as well as his two pistols and the sword on his back, all three being energy weapons.

OOC: Do those weapons need omes? If so, Snipes is in for a little trouble

((@Dracoon: That's how strong my love for this story is ))
((@Sukasa: You don't need omes to fire weapons. But lemme tell you that you're gonna be the one looked as the murderer, since these guys never kill ))

Bandit1: Whoa hoo hoooo! Look at them fancy things he's got on him.

Bandit2: Bet they'd fetch a pretty penny.

The bandits didn't know what kinda weapon Snipes had, but all they knew was they out numbered him far greater to be put into the Equation of Ninjas, even though they weren't ninjas.

--------------------------

Lily: You'd be singing a different tune if you ran into the base turtles that have cannons on their backs. Besides! Survival of the fittest! You know how many people survive with a brushing with a base turtle? One out of every ten.

Lily shakes her head.

Lily: Honestly.

The girl put her hands on her hips and continued walking forward. A cave could be seen in the the distance. It seems like that was the destination.

----------------------------------------

Meanwhile... In some room at the bandits' lair...

A tanned man in a straw hat stepped inside the luxorious looking room. The room looked exceptionally nice despite the fact that it was inside a cave.

Rufus: Looks like y'got some peeps comin' to get yeh.

Rufus was garbed in a raggety, leather vest, which was once a jacket. His jean shorts were in the same state. However, his very comfortable looking sandals were in great shape.

Allison: What are you going to do with me?

Allison definitely contrasted the man, with her light green blouse, and her beautiful light blue skirt. And her long, blonde hair was far more kempt than Rufus' wild black spikes.

Rufus: Ah came to the isle lookin' fer sacred omes..... *looks at Allison* Don't look no diff'rent than a normal human..

A large wolfish beast walked towards Allison. The girl got startled by it as it sniffed her. The wolf then walks towards Rufus, and lets out a whine.

Rufus: M'boy Rusty can't tell nothin' special neither. But here yeh are, the Lirrara... So get with the sacred ome makin'.

Allison: I.. but.. I don't know..

Just then, a man, not as tanned as Rufus but just as scruffy looking, came into the room.

Rufus: 'Sup, Pitch?

Pitch: They're almost here, mang.

Rufus: A'ight. *looks at Allison* Sit tight, Goldilocks. Ah'm gonna go entertain some guests.

OOC: Snipes doesn't kill.... unless he has to.

Eyeing the bandits carefully, Snipes backed up a bit, purposefully showing fear.

~Well, if they don't try anything, there won't be a problem...~

Keeping his attention on the bandits, Snipes made a quick glance with his eyes over to where he hoped to be going, and very quietly turned on his foot repulsors, and slowly glided almost unnoticably towards where the other band of people had gone.

"Fancy maybe, but they're nasty when they're on. Tell ya what- You leave me alone, I'll leave you alone. Don't mess with assassins, well, ex-assassins."

((Just to let you know, I rolled some die to see if they were gonna bug you or not ))

Bandit39: What the hell? We s'posed to be gettin' ready to eat!

There was some murmuring among the bandits. They all nodded their head and turned around and continued to look for an alternate route back to their hideout.

"So what're we havin', huh?"

--------------------------

Meanwhile..

Lucas: Every sweat in training is one less drop of blood in battle!

Arminas: Yeah.. but... pushups?

Arminas had irritated Lucas once more from a brash run in with a moth monster. Arminas didn't understand why he was made to do pushups, but he had enough of it.

Arminas: Bloody hell! Look, we're right outside the lair! We don't need to be sidetracked anymore!

Lucas: Fine. Just try to stop and think every so often.

OOC: So much for homework... Heh, rolling the die was a good idea.

Watching the bandits run off with a sense of relief, Snipes turned back to his original targets, and put his gun away. Now that his repoulsors were enabled, there was no point going back to walking. Snipes casually flew (well, it looked like he was simply gliding across the ground without moving) towards where he thought the other party had gone.

"Idiots. Now, where was I?"

EDIT: Hindsight is 20-20. I removed a bit from my OOC.

We found ourselves crossing over the Rugged Mountains in order to find Allison and bring her back to safety.

Along the way, we encountered Clara Claveer, our other objective. Our meeting was brief, however, as we were ambushed by bandits. We got seperated while trying to shake the bandits off.

We must make certain to take her into custody next time.

Allison's condition is a concern as well.

We'd best hurry to the bandits' lair as swiftly as possible.

Arminas: .... You say that last part, yet you still had me do push ups.

The bandits' lair was built in the side of a mountain. The entrance was rather wide open. Whether it was careless of them, or carefree, it didn't really matter too much. There were animal skins hanging here and there, as well as random bones and remains of fires here and there.

It had a nice homely-savage feel to it.

As Snipes was gliding up the hill, his repulsors just... gave out on him. Not expecting this, Snipes Fell to the ground, not dazed, but in a state of shock at his sudden equipment failure.

"Wha...? [expletive]. [expletive] [expletive] [expletive]!"

After his initial outburst, Snieps sat down, and twisted his left leg so he could see his foot. It wasn't pretty. The main systems on it (This will all be explained away, trust me) were completely toasted, and a blue fluid leaked slightly, covering a small section of Snipes' foot.

"Gaddamn... That's a major repair right there... No more floating through life for now."

Easing himself up, Snipes looked around, but all he could see was a cave... So, naturally, Snipes walked (more like stumbled) towards the cave. Getting close, Snipes could swear that he heard the same voices as before.

Sky: Nice place, I might decide to set up residence after we clear out these bandits. Except not.

Sky smiled as he watched Lucas looking over Arminas's pushups. He was starting to like the guy, and wondered why he was the only one to whom the boy showed even a tiny degree of respect. It had to mean something.

Cassandra: So as far as you know, are these just run of the mill bandits, or is there something more than the fools we've encountered?

The caves were decently lit, and there were fur rugs laid about everywhere. It was like stepping into a mansion.. for a caveman atleast. At the end of the "hall" was a set of doors. On the left seemed like a path going up, while the right side seemed to have a path going down.

Lucas: Well, those guys certainly know how to live...

As if on cue, two figures stepped out from the path on the left.

Rufus: So, ya'll be likin' mah crib?

Rufus took a few steps forward before stopping. If anyone was looking at him, they would've caught sight of the earrings that shined in the light, or the glimmering object he had hanging off his neck. Arminas' eyes was more drawn at Rusty.

The wolf, holding a stick of a sort in his mouth with style, was loaded with all sorts of glittering jewlery. Earrings on both ears; shining chains around his neck and forelegs; two golden fangs.

Arminas: ....

Lucas: ...

Rufus: Wha? Ya'll look like yeh never seen bling befo'.

Lucas: Cassandra, please give me more time to think about your question.

A small cardboard box shifted around in the corner of Rufus' room, far out of view of the pimped-out bandit and his canine companion.

Sigmund (whispering): "Gosh darn it, one of these darn doors must lead to his stash room! Unless..."

He glanced out the eyeholes of the box at the dark-skinned showoff that was glittering his way into the audience's hearts near the center of the room. That object on his finger, could it be...?

"Gah! That's me ring! Gotta get in close..."

Sigmund weighed his options. If he got in close, he might get the drop on Rufus and be able to snap his neck. But that dog... No matter how Bling Bling he was, no amount of jangling jewelery was going to protect Sigmund from his smell. Rusty'd know it, he knew it well enough back then...

And that rug...?

((You mean hallway, not Rufus' room I know.. late at night ))

Arminas: Give Allison back NOW!

Rufus: Allison, huh? So that's her name..

Arminas: Grrr... Shadow Rush!

Lucas: Arminas, wait.

Wasting no time, Arminas lunged at Rufus. The berserker's fingers started to glow as he stretched out his right arm.

Rusty started to bark in a rather strange manner.. it almost sounded like he was barking with a beat. Rufus remained calm despite the fact he had an enraged man standing still infront of him.

....

Arminas: ... Why am I not moving?

Arminas looks down, finally noticing the fact the rug he was running on was no longer there.

Arminas: Bastard.

And with that, the lad fell through the hole in the room. Rufus slapped his knee and started laughing while Rusty gradually slowed his barking.

Rufus: Ahahahahaha! Ah man! Ya'll make me laugh. Ahahahah...

Lucas: Arminas!

Lucas rushed to the very wide hole. Rufus turned around, and started walking to the upper path, still laughing. Rusty followed suit.

Lucas: I can't see anything down there.. Arminas!!

Rufus: Ahahaha... Yeh may want to take the steps down, over where Pops is hidin' by. Take yeh a while, but yeh'll find him. Ahahahaha...

Sigmund started under his box. Damn!

Sigmund (muffled): "Well, no use hiding anymore..."

The cardboard box stepped out of the shadows of the room by the lower passageway and made its way towards the group.

"So are we just gonna let him get away, or what?"

He still hadn't removed the box...

Sky stretched out his right arm, and his hand glowed for a second. A bit later, Rufus found his trajectory changed from leaving the room to heading towards the ground, having slipped on the now icy stairs. Sky drew his sword.

Sky: You're not going to get away that easily. Give up the girl. We're not all going to fall for your tricks.

Rufus: Here we go!

Rusty's beatbarking turned up again, this time making a sound like a car accident being rewound. Rufus pulled out his right arm, in attempt to stop himself from hitting the ground, but since there was ice, it just made him tilt a bit. He pulled out his other arm and thrusted it to the ground, and caused himself to tilt the other way.

Rufus actually kept up with himself in keeping his body off the icey floor with his quick hand movements. His legs were flailing about, trying their best to keep him balanace... or perhaps meant to dazzle onlookers with how fast he was turning.

His sudden movements eventually landed him with spinning on the ice on his back. He spun all the way to the floor of the room. As soon as he stopped moving downward, his body stopped spinning and was actually laying down comfortably side ways, with his head propped up with a hand.

Rufus: Now why'ja try and do somethin' like dat, man? Don't yeh be knowing Ah'm s'pposed te laugh and walk to the top of my lair, all coo' like dat? Shoo'..

Rufus got up to his feet, and waved with a big goofy smile. He then leapt at the ice, and went on with sliding up the icey ramp.

Lucas: Cassandra, I still need more time to think about that question.

-----------------------------------

Arminas: Ow... Damn.. that was some drop...

Arminas found himself at the bottom of a dimly lit room. There wasn't much for him to see, since it was, well, dark. Arminas wondered how far he was, since he couldn't heard Lucas. Then again, his voice could've been blocked out by the random sounds in the area.

Arminas: *thinking* ~Footsteps... If they think they're gonna get me with just that fall, they've got another thing coming....~
