The way it is now, it's not really a FAQ since it doesn't have questions, only rules. It's more like a TOS (terms of service).

Terms of Service are different in a few certain ways. This is a "hey, I'm going to ban people".

Now, I have nothing to worry about, really, besides a few little crazy fests, I'm usually sitting quiet in the corner, not really getting involved with anything. I'll be fine if these things change like the new FAQ says. I don't want to see people get banned though when they haven't really done anything wrong.

Yeah, its called spam, it sucks, but it can be diverted with a few mods just telling people to stop. It seriously isn't hard.

Okay, I want to say something for everyone bitching about respect.
There are good members at this board, and there are bad ones. Bad members don't get the same amount of respect, and for a good reason. Sure, there's the respect in which they're allowed to post, be given warnings rather than immediate ban, and are generally "tolerated"... but if you aren't a good member, what do you think you're going to get? If you get on everyone's nerves, cause drama, create pointless thread after pointless thread, spam, flame, and allaround bug people, do you think you're going to get the same respect as, say, Tarale?
So stop acting like twits around here, and you won't be treated like twits.
It's not that difficult folks.

I´m not bitching about it. Then I´d be talking about it everytime. But that wasn´t aimed at anyone in particular, I guess.

Guuuuuuuuuuuys.

This is just temporary. FAQ will be up again soon. This is just indicating that we're going to be less tolerant of obvious stupidity. Shyguy, yes, sometimes people act stupid. It happens to everyone. We're not exactly going to go around banning people whenever they misquote or something. You all need to be more calm about things like this.

Closed until someone reopens it in about five minutes because people can't seem to come to grips with the fact that this is just a temporary FAQ explained in plain english until we can rework the entire deal so that it's easier to understand and less offensive.

I might as well thrash it since nothing good seems to come out of this thread, apart from bickering. The FAQ right now is sure harsh but geez... people seems to take it too personal.
