Theres this 15 year old kid from Nepal who was been meditating under a tree without food or water for 6 months now. He is sitting in the same position as Buddah, and under the same type of tree that Buddah meditated under for 49 days to reach enlightenment. No one has been able to disprove the fact that he hasnt eaten anything for 6 months, some people even say that his forehead glows sometimes According to the boy he requires 6 years of deep meditation.

Sounds plausible if that kids is really fat, and since he don't move much he shouldn't really waste that much energy.
Eh, no photos or anything? It could just be a random urban legend. |

No source. Buddha spelled incorrectly. Poorly written in general.
How could you doubt this, guys? It's clearly authentic. |

I looked around for a few seconds and found a some information about this story. Here's an article with all the details.
It seems kind of strange since a curtain was placed around him after he got bit by a snake. This would have been a good opportunity to eat a little. It's still remarkable that he's been staying at the tree for six months, even if he possibly took some short breaks without anybody finding out. His photograph is also being sold in the region, which further points to this being not completely what it seems. There are other similar cases. For example, here's a story about a man claiming to have lived 68 years without eating. |

This doesn't even make sense. If you go with no food for much longer then a month, your muscles start to eat themselves. If you go approx. 3 months with no food, you're dead. However, if you go with no WATER for longer then 3-5 days, dead again.

Haha.
The story about the man living 68 years without eating is so full of crap it has to be true. As for the buddha boy, well what about bathroom breaks? I mean, his kidneys probably exploded a loooooooooong time ago. |

If he's not drinking anything, what is there to pee?
Anyway, there's no telling if this is real or not. But I guess we'll find out in six months, cuz if he goes that long, he'll be pretty damn popular. |

He'd still have to expell excess body water. Even without drinking you have to piss.

Sion: It's the responsibility of the person posting something that sounds absolutely absurd to provide the article.
