| Some people are more open and explicit than others when it comes to dating. Some people are quiet and rather be a sidekick, while other actually treat them like friends, but with a little bit of emphasis.
So how open are you with others? |

| Well, I've been a shy person for as long as I can remember. As far as "dating experience" goes, I've got nothing. But I'd imagine myself to be very quiet and shy, and if I were to lighten up, it would be more friendish than it really should be.
I'm too shy. 
I find it rather annoying (though I don't have experience) for people to go too far on a first date. It's a DATE, not a race. With friends, I can be more outgoing... it just depends on how comfortable I am with the people I'm around. With my best friend, I don't hold back. With friends that I hang out with at school, I'm pretty open too. People I don't know too well.. that's when I get shy. Oh well, I seem to be doing fine this way.  |

| yeah, I'm a pretty quiet guy. I tend to sit and listen a lot more than I talk....
close friends I open up more.... or family.... but even with them I'm usually the quiet one |

| More open with friends than family I think. :\ I have a good relation with my family and I'm grateful for that, but... I dunno. I think it depends a lot on what you want to talk about with someone and how personal it is. | |||

For me I've always been the shy, quiet type around everyone including my own family. But when I get around friends I tend to open up a little more especially if it's a really close friend. As far as dating goes most of my relationships have been nothing but being friends as it was very lack of experience there. Still is but the past two I was more open with and the last one was more zest than anything except lack of talking just a little even though I did open up a lot. Now this one I can fully relate it to us being friends and more as we can get along that well.  |

| Depends on if I know the person (dating-wise) or not. IŽm more open with friends that with my own family.
If IŽd date a girl IŽd only met a few times I wouldnŽt be that open ijn the beginning. |

| Not very, I think the most open I get with anyone is what's on my blog.
I suppose I'm pretty guarded, but the paradox is that I WANT the chance to be open - I've just not been presented with that opportunity yet. Apart from that, I have one very good friend who knows me intimately, and it's very difficult keeping anything from her - I mean a slight infliction in my voice and she's all "What's wrong?". She's usually right on the money too - Curse my ex fiancee!  |

| Well, regardless of shyness or not, I'm actually pretty open to others. I just figure that if I speak of anything retarded that there's a good chance that others have done as such or worse. Pff.
Though, I'm definitely not one that would openly say what I do in private in front of hundreds that possibly browse a board. Other places, though, probably yes. |

I suppose it depends on what mood I'm in. I'm generally known as being a shy guy. If I'm really happy I'd be very social with others. I'm not generally open to alot of people, not even my family. I prefer to deal with my own problems and stress. And its working out just fine for me |

| I'm not as open as I can be. I'm really open with family members and a few friends, but other random people I can't be. I'd have to trust you a little bit more to tell you the extra things and stuff. Lately, I've been finding myself a little bit more open at work. I'm getting a lot of positive things out of it, actually. |

| I'm too open with some people for my own good. Sometimes I'm a completely different person to who I am. It usually doesn't take long before it knocks the life out of me and I'm open and soft again.
I find being open and honest tends to be easier when working with other women, wheras men prefer a more robust, defensive personality. |

| I'm not particularly open with others. In fact, I'm pretty much in a near-constant state of anxiety when it comes to dealing with other people.
Sometimes I manage to get it to go away, and then I might talk to people. Sometimes I feel guilty afterwards, like I've said something wrong or stupid. If I drink, I'm a lot more open. If I'm with close friends, I'm a lot more open. Online... I guess I'm more open. If I'm being open with others, I'm usually too open with them for my own good. I manage to get myself hurt a lot because of it. I should just shut my yap and learn that not everybody is to be trusted. |
